Just a short comparison between the englisch Manwha version of 'Villains are destined to die' vs the german collectors edition 'Penelope - Das Böse ist dem Tode geweiht'.
I'm super happy that we got the korean extras of the original manwha for the german collectors edition! I just love, love this series and highly recommend you to read it!! Although I have to say, I really hate the german titel...dunno who was responsible for it or what kind of restriction they had for it but... it sucks...

The language was a huge factor why I sticked with the english version tbh, they even kept crown prince in the german tranlation which is a HUGE turn off for me and some words as well which triggered me quite a few times even tho the back side of the german version is prettier (one of the few factors) and the effects on the cover page as well but like you said the title is sh** and this is also another reason why I bought only the english versions. I am glad that I did it like this :3

It's really offputting how they chose certain words to remain english...like Kronprinz would have worked fine...such a strange decision.
👍If they didn't do these collector editions in german, I would have collected the english over the german volumes as well. But I just love this series sooo much that I just want the extra stuff! So german it is, and in the end it's not that bad, there are more... "rustic" translations out there.😅

Kannst du was zur Qualität der Übersetzung im Vergleich Deutsch/Englisch sagen? Also ob es da irgendwelche Unterschiede gibt? Find die Box echt nice, sehr schönes Extra

Die Übersetzung ist recht gut, es liest sich flüssig und ist modern geschrieben. Wobei sie interessanterweise sich entschieden haben die Titel, wie zB. Mylady, Crown Prince, Duke etc. englisch zu lassen.😄 (keine ahnung warum sie das selbe nicht auch für den titel hätten machen können...)
Vom Text her, ist es 1:1 der selbe Inhalt, also gut übersetzt.
