Yes, I think that the superhero space is struggling to catch up with the booming indie scene partially for this reason. Not only is there a much wider range of stories on principal, but the art styles are incredibly varied. There is no “standard.” I feel like superhero comics are expected to look a certain way by the industry, which is a shame. Some of the best titles around don’t fit in that box. (Matt Fractions Hawkeye, Elektra Assassin,etc) You’d think publishers would learn.

And thats the main reason i dont like current comics They are trying so hard to look"realistic" that they lost that special touch that makes clasic comics loook special I have yet to see a IA image that makes me feel the emotion and excitment everytime i see a George Perez or Alex Ross comic panel or cover

Chris, just read Get Fury 1 & 2 and I see where your confusion is coming from. Turns out Get Fury is a direct sequel to the arc from Ennis's Fury MAX series where Fury meets Frank Castle in Vietnam (Fury #7-9). That arc is all about the drug smuggling and the three CIA guys get killed at the end. I had to go back and reread it to understand anything that was going on in Get Fury. Which is a shame, because now that I understand what's going on its a great read, but you shouldn't have to pull out decades old comics to make sense of something that wasn't marketed as a sequel.
Adobe has clarified that it's only work that has been uploaded to Adobe Stock or Behance and has been publicly listed that they will train the ai on. A very narrow % of users will be effected, mostly only professional photographers
Adobe Stock is mostly non-consented work. Behance is portfolio site. Generative Fill is obviously going to be trained on the images included. The way it was written before was not ambiguous. It was clear all data on Adobe's Cloud would be considered licensed for training their generative tech.
I'm sorry, but the Eddie p con may be a bit too soon. I don't think many large names associating with it will come out any the better for it. Whatever situation was going down with him needs to play out first before they go down this route. I loved Ed, but this all feels way too soon.

What is there to play out for a dead man? There's no repercussions for the people he said got him. One was even nominated for an Eisner. There's already 3 Rivers Comicon in Pittsburgh that's exclusively comics focused which he never visited because he had a 5 year rule and it had only restarted after the big C. Tom Scioli and Jim Rugg tabled at it this year. The only other "comic" cons in the area are mostly celebrities.

If acting as if the story stops at the moment of Ed's death is truly the current cogitation of modern man, then maybe we too are doomed to see these same mistakes repeat over and over again.
