Nice to see some newer, modern stadiums popping up in Mexico. As an American who is a big MLS supporter, I feel like upgrading or replacing some of the older stadiums in Liga MX would be a huge step in the right direction to re-gain a bigger edge over MLS like the league used to. I still feel the quality of football in Liga MX easily exceeds that of MLS, but MLS has shown that they are rapidly approaching in Liga MX’s rear view mirror when it comes to on-pitch quality, and have already passed Liga MX when it comes to global broadcasting, and especially the quality of venues MLS plays in.
MLS has cookie cutter stadiums with different color schemes, no personality just like rebranding every team With FC, Now, when you say Global broadcasting? You just mean being available worldwide? That's thanks to appletv license? But definitely not viewership, Liga MX beats them in US viewership alone.
@@JuaniPodrido “Global broadcasting” was the wrong way to describe it. I did in fact mean that the broadcasts themselves are easy to access. Liga MX has always been ahead of MLS in terms of actual viewership, and it will continue to be for many years (unless Messi’s arrival speedruns that temporarily.) Also when I mentioned stadiums, I simply meant *modernizing* them. A lot of the newer MLS stadiums could be considered “cookie cutter”, but they are modernized “cookie cutter” stadiums. Barcelona and Real Madrid have modernized their stadiums, and Estadio Azteca will almost certainly see an absolutely enormous modernization project for the 2026 World Cup.
Considering serie a is one of European top league, yet Mexico league and j league team had better stadium, it's really disgrace. Only juventus who had their own and proper football stadium
@@zacharybasil definitly it's true. San siro and Juventus stadium are good but that's not enough. Also Milan & Inter, Lazio & Roma sharing same stadium. They needs much more new modern stadiums.
Estadio Cuauhtémoc of Puebla is looking totally unique. From the outside with that facing (which looks quite beautiful admittedly with its colours), you would expect another boring and soulless 'modern stadium' built in the last 15 years. And as soon as you see the inside it has the charm of a proper classic football stadium with a history of several decades. Toluca's ground is awesome as well with that lovely looking rectangular shape. The one I probably dislike the most in this video is Estadio BBVA in Monterrey. This looks like the Mexican version of the Etihad from the inside, and this futuristic and cold outside doesn't look very welcoming either. At least the mountain outside the stadium which you can see from one corner looks beautiful.
My favorite stadium is estadio universitario and my favorite team is UANL TIGRES for one reason is the presence of Andrée-Pierre Giniac the old ligue 1 player of Olympique de Marseille team
The Estadio Azteca in Mexico City is the home of America and Cruz Azul, and also the stadium that hosts two FIFA World Cup finals, Brazil vs Italy in 1970 and Argentina vs West Germany in 1986.

very cool I love the nicknames, thank you. La Bombonera maybe because the one side of the pitch has a small stand with the wall behind it, La Bombonera has one small stand along the side of the pitch. I think Santa Ursula would translate to Saint Ursula in English but I may be wrong on that. There is a Saint Ursala.
What is your favorite Liga MX stadium?
Akron
Estadio Akron,Estadio universitario,Estadio BBVA and Estadio azteca
All
All of them are very nice. I love american stadiums!
