A few days ago i was waiting in a cafe before an interview i was suppose to do i was looking at the door and than this guy came in I recognized him because he was a well known photographer in my city and his eyes met mine and he stared at me in sucha way that I didn’t know it happened in real life like “wow,I’m shook ,I found the woman i want” kind of look I swear it was so intense that I couldn’t stop thinking about it but after that i’ve got called to do the interview and the moment was cut short ...after the interview was done I saw him again and our eyes met again i saw the longing and a bit of excitement for seeing me again but than i had to leave 😭

This guy said he liked me, and I was, well, shocked. First time someone told me that. I guess it was in the heat of the moment, my emotions were just everywhere at this point. He was a really good friend of mine, kinda cute and a bit funny, I considered it a win. I sound really stupid, I played with his feelings, even though I didn’t legitimately like him. My heart and head in the clouds self decided to lie, and say yes. Desperation really does a lot to you, especially when you see all those other couples around you. I led him on, like a jerk. I did it for about two weeks, but then slowly gave up, thinking it was the best for him to know. He of course got mad, anyone rational and smart would. There I was again, lonely and sad. Another friendship shattered to atoms. BOOM! Next day, guess who gets in a relationship. None other than my (legitimate) crush. Who’s he with? My best friend. Life really is a pain in the ass sometimes :/ Lesson? Don’t be a dumbass and be honest.
But hey, you learn to get through it. Anyone reading this who’s in a tough spot (or perhaps just ended a thought episode and is currently mourning/sad/confused) remember, people are here for you. Life will give you lemons as long as you thrive, but don’t let that stop you. Be strong and reach out to people, live life as a happy person :)
