I love your first impressions. You are always so thorough and always fair to the product you review. IMHO a second layer of such a matte foundation easily gives the face an almost cartoony two-dimensional look, which you expertly corrected with bronzer, blusher, highlighter etc. Also, I think your tiny few freckles are super cute.

I normally wear the hourglass stick foundation and the C. T Magic Foundation. I decided to try this out today. I have an oily T zone but the rest of my face is pretty normal. Today I used the Urban Decay Rehab Make Up Prep moisturiser and let that sink in my skin & then I used Halsey primer in my T zone area and the Two Faced primer around the rest on my face (Only used a tiny little bit of it). I then put the foundation on (La Colors Truly Matte). I barely had to set it. Normally I have to set my whole face and it looks a little cakey by the end of the day. I have had this on for 12 hours (9am to just now) and it still looks good! And I'm very nit picky about my foundation and how it looks. If you have oily skin, and you don't need complete coverage, this will do wonders for you (I would say this is light to medium coverage). I love this stuff now. I'm going to wear it again tomorrow to see if it was just a fluke but seriously, it's good stuff! And it's cheap. Try it!!! Ohhh and it doesn't smudge off!!!!

Maybe you shouldve done half with a brush and the other half with a beauty blender to see how it turn out
Rocy Chavez using a beauty blender will always make the foundation apply with less coverage so it wouldn’t do justice to the foundation :)
