Good to see you back out there guys. We blew a motor on the middle of the nullabour when we were 3 weeks into our lap, we got it towed back to Bunbury put another motor in and were off again in 6 days but that feeling of every noise, every rattle, every vibration is horrible. You just need to get past that and before long it’ll just be a funny story.
I found the same issues with filling the water tanks as you did the second time we used our new van. I ended up running hard poly house plumbing lines to each tank and installed ball valves for each tank all fed by 1 connection point beside the town water connection. All I do now is hook the hose up to the 1 point and open 1 valve at a time to fill the tanks. They now full to 100% and found to have plenty of water left after 5 days off grid. I also installed a water filter so I don't have to clean the tanks as often. Love the channel and working towards upgrading our 200 series cruiser to an F350 also. Wouldn't mind picking your brain in regards to weights and your GVM upgrade. Keep up the awesome content.
Hey mate, cheers for the ideas. Any questions jump onto our social media pages and send us a message and I can help you out as much as I can, I'm no expert but I can tell you what I know.
Was that a wheel lift I spotted at 26:07? 😂 The quality of your videos are getting better with every episode. You'll have to teach me next time we catch up 😉
I would be happy to just have an episode going around the F350. That thing is so freaking beautiful. Keep them coming guys. Happy you are out on the road again.
@@lappingtheisland just what you think you'll change in your set up. On your walk around you said you weren't happy with the bike set up that you had......👍
Tetnis? Geez, that was an every time we went fishing in the boat experience when we were kids Was most of the time the only thing we caught, that and a cold 🥶
Yippee-ky-ay Mother… You’re back on the road! Yew🤙🏽 But we know what you mean when something goes wrong, you second guess every little bump and noise!! Looking forward to the rest of the adventures!!
cheers mate, we have a drone, sometimes the conditions don't allow for me to get it up. the first day was mint but I was too excited to go fishing and from there on we copped bad windy weather. Check out this weeks episode, plenty of drone work. cheers for subscribing really appreciate it.
good to see you guys back on the road, cannot wait to see this series. Fingers crossed smooth sailing from here. Would love to do the same as you guys one day!
Hi Good to see you back on the road, Back in 2009 I had the same problems with our van so I redid all the plumbing to make sure there were no problems. It is the position of the breather pipes that causes the air bubbles.
Good to see you back on the road. Confidence will return, don’t stress. Have you not got breathers on your water tanks? Air locks are forced out the breathers no need to back fill with breathers.
Great to see u back on the road, after few kls and corrugated tracks be worth checking the u bolt torque on the rear springs. We often fill from the tank drain especially good if you have little fall from the side filler into the tank good tip. safe travels. 👍
I pasted your parked van on my numerous river loops on the pushie 🤫 and always thought there is worse places to stay while the "truck" was getting sorted. Enjoy your freedom once again and get the confidence back.
Mate I understand the stresses of towing... caught a trailer on fire when I was younger from the brakes over heating. Scarred me for life. 😆 just picked up our brand new Caravan in Dec, super conscious of everything we're in New Zealand though.
Hey guys, Derek (sp?)… I love your product presentation and walk-through work. You’re convincing and passionate. It’s clear you’re not selling anything but you give all the details a consumer needs plus you share what you like and what you don’t in a way that still is enjoyable to watch. Thanks and keep up the great work.
+Nate Killip yes we are on to it, it’s so painful editing it and listening to it. We have new gear ordered but couldn’t get it until after this was filmed. Hopefully from here on in its crisp and hopefully we go to places with no wind.
Hey guys, great vid, the first we’ve seen of yours. We use to live in Esperance for a few years but never tried out these spots so have added them to the list. Are the 3 quite close by to each other? We are looking forward to hitting the road north of WA before winter for full time travel with the kids and cannot wait. Enjoy!
The weather wasn't on your side, was it? But the places you have been checking out look great I have to say. I am pretty sure that you guys will have a great time for the rest of your road trips. And the F350 will be Good forever from now on. All the shitty moments are gone. Caput. Finito. All the Great times and Great things are waiting for your family. It starts now. Be Happy! Be wild! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 👍
Nice to be on the road. But videos are lacking alot. Maybe the next vid will be a bit better content. watch trip in a van for some help on fliming. Needs some work. ✌️
TIAV have also been doing it for many years mate we are not them if you want to watch them then watch them. We are learning and giving it a go. If you want everyone to be the same as them don’t watch anyone else but them.
Glad you passed breathalyzer lol
😂😂😂
Great video. Love how you do them, just natural and real! Well done guys. Keep them coming!
cheers mate, appreciate it.
Do you guys ever share the driving?
Loving your videos,
Lake Grace Really made me laugh.
That cop with the breathalyser looks so much like the guy from XploringOz also on RUclips .
+gr8pies you’re the second person to say that but I don’t see it 🤷🏼♂️
It was him. 😀
Enjoy the pro vloger style blended with real life situations and how you all cope with it.
Why the breathalyzer test?
My ac dies after 43 degrees.
crazy hey, just when you need it.
@@lappingtheisland yep. No way to fix it.
Used to live in lake grace as a kid. Used to play junior golf on black sand greens.
Played a few games on sand greens before too, bit interesting. Beautiful town though.
Good to see you back out there guys.

Very true mate, sorry to hear about your misfortunes. we are in Bunbury ATM. hope you are back on the road and going again.
@@lappingtheisland back at home in Bunbury now mate. The motor was a couple of years ago now and we’ve replaced the car with a Silverado now👍🏻😂

Good to see you all back on the road.
Thank you.
Another great video we used to live in Hopetoun about three years ago we love going out to starvation Bay for day trips and overnighters
Lucky you, it’s so beautiful down there we fell in love with it.
safety trip with your family
I would be happy to just have an episode going around the F350. That thing is so freaking beautiful. Keep them coming guys. Happy you are out on the road again.
Explore life RUclips channel has done a full vid on it
We have done a full rig review on our channel and explore life did one too on his channel mate so there is two you can watch. 🤣🤣🤣 cheers 👍🏼
Seen this rig on the freeway heading into Perth I was in the green 80 series things pretty mint
Great to see the family back on the road again, enjoy!
Thank you.
You reckon you could do something on your bike rack system?
Sure what did you want to know or see mate?
@@lappingtheisland just what you think you'll change in your set up. On your walk around you said you weren't happy with the bike set up that you had......👍
Woop woop it’s the sound of FREEEEEDDDOOOMMM
Is it legal in Australia for cops to just randomly pull you over and breath test you?
Why did you get breathalysed in beginning of video? Standard practice in Australia?
Because they recognised the car so they pulled us over to say hi but they still need to do the bretho.
@@lappingtheisland Guy looked and sounded a lot like Nathan from XploringOz. Anyways, great vid! Love the honest weather vids.
@@chrisdardis4794 I think you are right Chris, that had to be Nathan from XploringOz .

I couldn’t even catch a cold for about a year my fishing was going that well. Yes had a few in my limbs growing up too.
You guy's are becoming my new favourite RUclips channel! 👍👌
Cheers for the feed back makes it worth while really appreciate it mate. 👍🏼
Glad to see you on the road! Austrialia is a beautiful country. Been there twice but man the Government there is corrupt as F.
Great video as usual. Lucky buggers.
Cheers appreciate the feedback back. 🤙🏼🤙🏼
Great vid. I come for the van life but stay for all your technical tips peppered throughout 👌🏼
Cheers. Glad it is of somewhat help to you. 👍🏼
Get a drone to see what's up ahead if unsure .
I do that often but this was a 20-50km track.
good work !
Cheers mate 🤙🏼
One trick if you have access to water for really hot days is to run water over the external coil on the roof.
Not sure what you mean here mate?
Enjoyed the episode! Shame about the weather you had cause, how beautiful is it around Hopetoun! Thanks for the camp-site reviews.
Cheers mate. Can’t help the weather. Beautiful spots down there.

Cheers mate. Get planning and make it happen. You will never regret doing something only not doing it.
At the end, was the steps to the van still somewhat down while you were driving?
Not sure mate I’ll have to have a look. 🤷🏼♂️

Yeah I looked into them and solved it. All good now. 👍🏼
Why don’t you turn on the air-con in the van while you drive, makes a difference when it’s really hot using that solar and dc power. 🍻🛠👍
Never thought of this great idea.
Good to see you back on the road. Confidence will return, don’t stress. Have you not got breathers on your water tanks? Air locks are forced out the breathers no need to back fill with breathers.
