Your rendering is always so good, but the black areas on Splatypus and Plattytude are just awesome! I need to be taking notes, for real.
I like Cid's design. His exosuit kind of reminds me of the Volus from Mass Effect.
Oh I didn't even make a connection with the Volus but now I absolutely see it!
I had an idea for a psychic gym leader- her name is Sophie, she's paralyzed from the waist down, her wheelchair is motorized & can hover. Sophie is an scientist & talk show host, her gym battles happen at her talk show with her co-hosts being the gym trainers. She was trying to build a generator which would make clean energy, however there was an issue and the generator zapped her which put her in a wheelchair. Her Psychic Pokemon help her get around and she chose to be a Psychic Gym Leader because Eevee was her first Pokemon who later became an Espeon.
Sophie's appearance- white skin, red hair, blue eyes, purple jacket, grey shirt, blue pants & purple shoes. Her wheelchair is blue with a purple orb in the middle of the wheels which turns into a generator that release air allowing the chair to hover, the wheels fold out into wings.
A super cool idea!!!
Splatypus and Plattytude are excellent designs, they really and truly look like pokemon
I’m especially fond of Plattytude with the electroreceptors on its bill becoming piercings, thats just so clever.
And a spooky, Hedora-esc Kaiju form was not something I expected from the punk platypus, but it really works, beast Plattyude rules
Oh and does Plattytude naturally hunt Blechidna? They’re both poison type and you mentioned in its beast form that theres some connection between the two, plus the “beaked pokemon” would technically include Plattytude with its bill
i'd actually say they probably would hunt Blechidna! seeing as Blechidna is on the bottom of the food chain. However in beast form they both adapted to be highly defensive due to the other possibly more dangerous hunters in ultra space.
I think normal Blechidna should be normal/poison, it’s a typing that hasn’t been done and since they look so bored it could work

I love how the Beast Paradox forms are sorta like Gigantamax forms but with a twist. Sorry if you've already explained this in a previous video, but how exactly do the beast paradox forms work?
Also, I'd definitely have Plattytude on my team, he's so cool!
It's no trouble essentially beast paradox forms work as alternate forms accessible by using a paradox stone on a Pokemon, the Pokemon stays in their paradox form permanently until you remove the stone. It works a bit like hoopas form change. Beast forms are essentially different ways to use similar Pokemon, instead of Megas where their stats boost sharply their stats are rearranged (except for single stage and weaker Pokemon who do get a boost).
@@fakemonforever2617 Ah, that's a really cool idea! I had something similar for my region planned, beast forms. But it looks like someone beat me to it. I mean, I'm still doing it, but I absolutely love how you did it and how you need a paradox stone to give it a form change.

I think splatypus should be a poison/water type (note poison is its primary type), with its secondary type still changing to dark when it evolves.

I wanted to ask a question? When are we going to get starter and protagonists designs? Also havent fully watched the video but Blechidna is very cool looking so far. :D
I have some starter designs but I need to do some reworks for them and for protags maybe sooner rather than later for them!
I like the beast paradox forms but I feel like not all of them look like ultra beasts and some of them just look like evolutions.

I love the beast forms, but will every Pokémon get a beast form. Is it also the Ostaran gimmick (like Dynamax)
Not every Pokemon gets a beast form, it's a bit like Megas or regionals with the gimmick that you can freely swap them between these forms so long as you have a Paradox stone
