Nice, sorted out my interference straight away, I spent £10 on a new magic eye, new connectors which didn’t solve the problem, you helped my in 4 minutes…😊
Ahh perfect. Cheers pal. My Bedroom TV started all fuzzy. I put purchased a new aerial lead but that didn’t fix my issues. I was just about to purchase a new IO link box as I’d switched out all wiring and still no fix. Turns out my RF channel was in 21so I flipped to 38 and this instantly removed any fuzziness I had. Much appreciated.
Hi Tom - we have suffered with intermittent interference on analogue TVs in the house through RF2 for years. Finally tried this and moved the output from 68 to 38 as you suggested. Much better picture quality and no interference. 👍
Good to hear Kim, glad the video was of some use to you. Yes channel 68 now sits in and around some 4G signals so not a good channel to use. Please subscribe to our channel. Tom
I am following you video, which is very helpful. Would you suggest testing each manual analogue channel number from 22 - 50 to see which one stops my intermittent loss of picture? Do you know how to find out what rf is being used by other things in my area?
Hi. I have done all this after swapping sky hd boxes after a software issue with mine. For some reason the eye now won't change channel but it does with the old box. Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks Tommy
Most still do but some don't. There are a few way's around this. You can get a RF to AV converter, like an RF to SCART or phono for example. Alternatively you could install a digital modulator, connect this to the HDMI and create a digital TV channel out of the Sky box.
If I buy Triax Link RF Output for Sky+ HD box, will I be able to use its RF output to connect to a RF in on my Panasonic Freeview HD Recorder and find freeview channels this way, i.e. to use sky+ hd as an aerial
hi need you help pleasse . i need to spitter my lnb to run freesat hd on my tv and a sky hd box. i brought a splitter . i lose of of the sky channels. the freesat hd is fine . any surguesstion please
We are relocating our tv in lounge, our plan is to run the cable under the skirting boards, the problem is the tv is connected to tv in bedroom by I/ o splitter box and we don’t have any more space under skirting board for this cable, is there any other way this can be done?
Hi Colin, no dish input 1 and 2 are for the connection to the satellite dish. Your box might not have RF1/ RF2 built in as this was removed from some of the later Sky+HD boxes. Does your box have an i/0 link connection on the rear?
Hi Tom. Excellent video tutorial. I have 3 separate sky boxes with 6 TVs. If I change the RF out on each box to 44-46-48 respectively, could I loop the 1st box RF out to the 2nd box RF in then 2nd box RF out to 3rd box RF in. From the 3rd RF out to an amplifier/splitter and then to each TV. Program each TV CH 1 to CH44, TV CH2 to CH46 and TV CH3 to CH48. Would this allow me to swap TV channel to view each box?? Afraid to try just in case I mess it up. Cheers.
Hi and thanks. No you wouldn't be able to turn the change the channels on all the boxes, for that you would need to install a SPC4 Combiner and then connect all the RF2's into that. From there you can connect to your distribution amplifier. The Sky remotes can then be programmed to control which Sky box you want them to connect.
So basiccly i could plug my old CRT That has no scart using it like an RF Out Modulator. be good that as standalone Modulators are like the same or more money. but i guss if i pay for OD Sky via internet it could be used for internet tv sky instead of that big dish on a B/W tv that uses RF in
could u please tell me why my 2nd tv has no hd signal only horrible analog came down in morning and hd was gone just the blurry standard .I didnt do anything to the box its tv 2 on magic eye
What sort of set up do you have Gary? The RF2 output connection is analogue, do you have some sort of HD modulator or HDMI system delivering HD connection to the TV's?
@@smartaerials hi I had the smart eye put in by an installer for 3 days I had mirror image of the sky channels in nice hd .suddenly it just went to standard almost blurry on the 2nd tv with magic eye .I touched nothing at all.on either device
Sorry I don't know Gary, the output connection for the magic eyes is analogue so I don't know how he has set it up. I advise contacting the installer and asking him.

You're welcome and I'm glad that you liked the video, yes 38 is good for most areas. Please subscribe to our channel.

Do you have a sky + hd box with a Ariel in because what is it like and do you still get the same channels on the sky + hd box
Hi Tom
I understand that new Smart TVs do not now have an analogue facility ? How can you send the rf sky signal to a new tv ?

That would only work if you had an aerial input into the Triax Link RF Output. (they have a connection for an aerial in)

Can you make it over to Cork in Ireland b4 2pm tmrw? There's a pint & a challenge in it for ya 😂😂
Sorry Rob, would love to. I have family in Cork but I don't think I will be able to get my van and tools over to you.

@@smartaerials hi, thanks for the reply. Yep, it does have the io port... so i think i might need the rf adapter. Ive seen some on ebay. Thank you.

Might be worth mentioning that on older boxes like mine it's SERVICES - 4 - 0 - 1 - SELECT
