Agreed. A lotta people, myself especially, desperately want him back. Unfortunately, I doubt it's gonna happen anytime soon. I'm desperate to see him again.
I'll always miss Crash Bandicoot. His games, mascots, even potential merchandise. I always found Crash being the only decent video game character. He began in 3D in a great game, when the first Mario and sonic games were 2D and were kind of mediocre. Crash is happier than Mario, and way cooler than sonic. Crash will go down in history of games. Rest in Peace Crash Bandicoot. Rest in Peace...
With Crash Bandicoot in Skylanders Imaginators and the first three games being remastered for PS4, maybe just maybe Universal theme parks might bring back Crash!
@@StitchesWilde Especially Crash Bandicoot, which I can definitely agree with 100%! Glad you agreed with me all the way! Hopefully Activision doesn't have a problem with Universal Studios Hollywood bringing him back to the theme park.
If possible, Universal Studios Hollywood should get written or contractual permission from Activision to bring him back to the theme park as a mascot and nothing more. They currently have contractual permission to have a Harry Potter land, the Scooby Doo gang and The Simpsons at the theme park, and they're owned by Warner Bros. and Fox (now owned by Disney)
Gotta say I'm glad he's not owned by universal anymore yeah the costume whas cool and all but game wise universal treated both Crash and Spyro like shit come on thhe best rated crash and spyro games I will admit games like twinsanity were good and from my info the legend of spyro whas a good trilogy but still Activision treats them better with the n sane trilogy reignited ctrnf and crash 4 the teams that have worked on them have done a great job sooo yeah maybe there is a chance there could be a comeback for crash and spyro to theme parks maybe finally a ride for both of them separately of course but defenetly won't happen in universal that's for shure but I do know there whas a call of duty ride at six flags soo maybe there? I say this because Activision owns call of duty so makes sense somewhat sooo you know
Great video and yeah I miss Crash and also Spyro because they were one of game series that change video games. Also was this filmed in summer 2012 and was this were Crash Bandicoot was retiring for now? Love Crash and Spyro and long live them.
To be honest, I wish Universal would still own the rights to Crash Bandicoot and Spyro the Dragon. If only Universal Interactive could be reestablished as Universal Interactive Entertainment, (or Universal Games for short) then it could buy back Crash and Spyro.
If Viacom purchases the Crash Bandicoot and Spyro the Dragon franchises from Activision, they would follow the TMNT logic, create great films and TV shows with them and allow Activision continue publishing further Crash and Spyro games.
What? Just no, Crash Bandicoot and Spyro belong to Sony, NO OTHER COMPANY, the rights of those franchises need to be sold back to Sony pronto since Universal Interactive Studios (Vivendi Universal Games in 2002, Vivendi Games in 2006) who owned the rights of those franchises has closed and merged with Activision in 2008.
You're right. If Sony and Activision reached a deal which would make Crash and Spyro exclusives to Sony consoles again, Activision would keep merchandising rights and Sony would retain publishing rights.
Eduardo Ho How would Activision keep merchandising the rights? Also I want Sony to make them PlayStation-only video game franchises again like in the PS1 days because it was very unnecessary from them to have games on Nintendo and Xbox systems, Sony should be the only one to publish the rights and that's great to hear you agree with me. :)
At the time, Activision bought Universal's Vivendi Games. So Universal lost all Rights to Crash Bandicoot. I mean to be fair, besides the marketing, Universal did a poor job in handling their Dev Teams.
Probably one of the best character costumes I've ever seen. So accurate to the character. Absolutely tragic he had to be retired.
At least we're getting one of his friends - Mario.
It's time to bring his arse back with the insane trilogy.
Agreed. A lotta people, myself especially, desperately want him back. Unfortunately, I doubt it's gonna happen anytime soon. I'm desperate to see him again.
R.I.P Crash. My only friend from Universal. We're all gonna miss you.

This makes me sad, I grew up with crash Bandicoot and to this day I still love him more than Mairo and Sonic.
Me too ;(
SEE ACTIVISION PEOPLE STILL CARE!
@@thememelord161 yes they do
I love Crash just as much as Mario and Sonic!
i met crash at universal studios in 2010 i'll miss him so much :'(

June 30th is the release date for the remastered games. I hope you're right, and I really hope they bring him back because of that. I miss him so much
Activision should get permission from USH to make that Crash Suit he would look good at game cons
Imagine if Crash got his own HHN maze.
Who votes fore Brining Crash Back to Universal Parks?
I do for sure. But how would we get that to happen? I know the new games are doing very well, but how can it happen?

I do

They really need to bring back these mascots at the theme park.
I agree. Especially Crash. I hope Activision wouldn't mind if Universal brought him back to the theme park

Damn I remember when he was at the parks I wasn’t able to take a picture tho but my brother was able too
I would literally be happy if I sapo him today in universal, it’s sad they removed him.
Blame Activision.
Ugh, why does he have to go??
WHOA PANCAKE!
WHY HE LEFT?

Yes but Microsoft (the house that XBOX and Windows built) bought Activision.
My Crash :o Sierra bitch!
Wtf is with crash's face? It just looks so...off...
