Thank you Tim, very helpful instruction. I have a question. Does the ODIS program a Comfort Access Smart key for 2015 Audi A3 Immo5 MQB?. All keys are lost. I cannot even turn on Ignition. The only light in dashboard is Key Not recognized. I tried to program the key with Lonsdor, but it ask to turn on lights and push the brakes to wake ECM, but no lights when I do these steps, so no luck to wake the sleepy ECM :) Does ODIS do that? Thank you
YES, ODIS is the factory tool... just like any factory tool, it isn't cheap to get into, but it is well worth it for us... On the cars with a push to start, such as a 2016 A3 Etron, which I did today, you need a dealer key, and when you go to program the key, it ask's you if you want it to turn on terminal 15 via the internet, select yes, and the car lights up, steering lock releases and you go thru the rest of key learning... If you are trying to do this aftermarket , I don't think londsor is going to be able to pull the CS to precode a key, or even the pin to start programming... The only aftermarket tool I have used to program a key to these is either AVDI or VVDI, and trying to get the data from the car usually means jumping fuses.. Good luck.
AVDI is awesome at adding keys if you already have a working key.. If you notice, I am doing this car with odis because at the time the video was made, we couldn't find an aftermarket key for the Q7's... I haven't found one myself yet, but my friends are saying they have programmed aftermarket keys into these...

The last time I did an ABS module on a newer Audi, we had to get a new one from Audi and use ODIS to code it in... @@tomking3942 True, they are pretty good... I have known Nathan Boris for years, he started years ago with keynet.... good guy..
Halo
Thanks for your valuable information and if possible I need how to change vin number on the Engine control module I I use vw ecu on Audi. haytham.essmat@gmail.com just steps please. Thanks again
What software are you trying to use, and what year make and model audi??
This video says nothing, just wasting time. You know nothing about key programming, this is my opinion.
Professionals doesn't need this toy and key from dealer.
So whoever's hoping to know how to make keys programming should avoid this video!
And you are not friendly and honestly just trying to showing off because you have subscription to odis, pitty!
WOW, damm... you really told me... I hang my head in shame... Let's see, you have no name, and I know nothing about key programming.. Maybe you can explain to me how to precode and make a dealer key from an aftermarket key??? or even where to find an aftermarket key that works???? Instead of trolling, how about helping a looser like me out and give me a little info...
Tim please don't waste your time. Loosers don't understand professionals. This guy don't even know he's name
@@cesarvidrio7047 Too funny..... I was actually hoping he would share the knowledge of where to get the aftermarket keys... I could use some of those.. I had a good one last week, 2012 jetta Push to start, another locksmith called me and said when he got to the car, the prox wouldn't work, but remote would and if you held key to antenna, the car would start, he tried to program in another key and same results.. We programmed in both keys with Abrites and the prox would work, but the remotes wouldn't work.. opened up ODIS, and noticed under special functions there was a test labeled Transport Mode, on or off.. Somehow the car had been put into transport mode.. turned off transport mode and remotes worked fine, also radio started working and so did backup camera.... Being a non professional has it's advantages sometimes... :-)
@@timtracy9442 Hi Tim i just found a key for audi A6 Q7. BUT IF I CAN TEXT YOU THE INFO TO YOUR CELL. ? OR GET MY CELL. 8189411274. THANKS
@@timtracy9442 sure I'm helpful guy so I'll tell you, you can use Enigma tool, link:
thelegendweb.com/product/enigma-tool/
You no need to be stressed coz you know not much about keys, just learn from professionals and will be also professional.
Odis is not professional this is why you can't program other than precoded keys. Try to code this precoded keys without car by your odis! If can let me know haha.
Coz enigma doesn't need a car or precoded key.
You try to insult me coz of my nick? Pity you. You insult yourself of knowing nothing and trying to show off.
You can fool your customers but you can fool me.
As I say before, about key programming you know nothing.
I can program every car key in the world without having a car in my garage.
Just need chip from dashboard, on some cars I need more parts but still not a car, and for sure not a precoded key from dealer.
Stay away from me!
