10:30 That is still not McKinley Hill. It's still part of BGC. Mckinley Hill is few more km going to Venice Grand Canal and all the way going to Makati Ayala before crossing EDSA Road. From your location, you're going to a Mall called Market2x and SM Aura.
You're right, it's not McKinley Hill. That is why I said it's McKinley Pkwy, the circle and road that passes by Market Market and SM Aura. (Which I also went to).
Thanks for watching! So far, just one video :( I got rained on a lot during my visit (this camera isn't waterproof). I put some other videos on my second channel (un-planned vlogs)
New subsciber here. Nice vlog bro. You can also try to visit Eastwood city in Quezon . It is the first cyberpark and also one of the nicest modern cities in the Philippines. I think it's a 20-30 minutes ride from BGC.
Just a clarification: Despite having "City" in their names, Eastwood City and BGC are not really cities by our law definition (i.e. The Local Government Code of the Phils). Both these business districts do not elect their own mayor. But you are correct that Eastwood City is in Quezon City, which is a real city. Similarly, BGC is in Taguig City. Quezon and Taguig are among the many cities that comprise "Metro Manila" which is the old but popular name of the National Capital Region (NCR). Just wanting to spread correct info about PHL. We certainly do not want foreigners to end up in Quiapo instead of Eastwood because they mistakenly told the airport taxi to head for "Manila" when they actually meant Eastwood City in Quezon City.

Snippet: FYI - The makati commerce district has a neck named and it's the Green Apple -- in case you guys are hearing locals mentioning that in their conversation with you -- the Green Apple Commercial District is the same as what you are seeing in high street or BGC and in Taguig or Santa Rosa area. We still have so much more work to be done in the name of Development, and rebuilding our motherland after the atrocity of world war 2, but grateful to have been able to fund some major nationwide improvements -- this time around. Visit also baguio city philippines. Developed by the US army since before world war 2.. Just watch in youtube also about baguio and its history. It has the best climate because of its cold climate. Many tourist spots here.
Actually there are so many BGC's in Metro Manila ( 17 cities including the capital Manila), its just BGC is the most popular, try to explore Eastwood in Quezon City, Arcovia in Pasig, Harbour Square in Manila, New Port City in Pasay, Makati City,Ortigas Center in Mandaluyong City, Aseana City in Paranaque, Ayala Alabang in Muntinlupa, check it out
Hahaha well sometimes grabbed my attention and made me feel a similar moment. Maybe it's the tall modern buildings near Reforma. I don't know. Either way, two of my favorite cities.
you need to try the real Makati. You're in the redlight district. Go to Legazpi Village and Salcedo Village Makati. They're very clean and modern compared to the part of Makati you're in
Really? So, Ayala Circuit is part of the red light district? (not sarcasm). I just found my area to be a bit local feeling rather then modern-developed and attractive to tourists.
Some Pilipinas understand English but are too shy to respond or speak in English. English is taught in all schools from grade 4 up to highschool and most especially in college.
They are building two new cities right now by the Manila Bay and will be way better than BGC, Ortigas, and Makati. Anyway i love cats and i give them food when i see them in the streets of LA and in my backyard as well.
I don't understand the "everything is in english", because the entire country's signanges, posters, advertisements, etc. are pretty much always usually in english because its the country's second official language next to Filipino, and you may have just not noticed that 😅
No I noticed it. I said it as a reference to show others that English isn't a problem for when they go there and also because where I stayed in the outer northwest edge of Makati, most signs weren't in English.
Many part of manila are developing even better than bgc.more cities they are developing are more green spaces and Gardens landscape like filinvest, bridgetowne, aseana, parklinks,,vertis north and many more under development cities of metro manila.
I hope they keep adding the green spaces and gardens. All cities need them. Like ayala Triangle. It's beautiful. So much going on in the megacity of Metro Manila :)
I think you are the one that didn't understand the situation, the police officer was figuring out why you're asking why so many dogs, he's thinking if you were demanding something or what.
I didn't ask "why"...I made a statement saying that there are many as that it is very dog-friendly there. His English was lacking a lot. But sure, I probably worded a bit weird for him.
I visited BGC again in near Christmas time and I was amazed: ruclips.net/video/zd0qkfIbLDc/видео.htmlsi=6-WbAUbSWovu9udU

Actually there are so many BGC's in Metro Manila ( 17 cities including the capital Manila), its just BGC is the most popular, try to explore Eastwood in Quezon City, Arcovia in Pasig, Harbour Square in Manila, New Port City in Pasay, Makati City,Ortigas Center in Mandaluyong City, Aseana City in Paranaque, Ayala Alabang in Muntinlupa, check it out
Wow thanks for all the suggestions. Will add them to the list. :)
@@Reardon_ExploresEastwood city like bgc
I live in Mexico City but there's no place here that comes close to BGC. They have Sta. Fe but compared to BGC it's ugly.
Hahaha well sometimes grabbed my attention and made me feel a similar moment. Maybe it's the tall modern buildings near Reforma. I don't know. Either way, two of my favorite cities.
HI, THERE IS A BUS TERMINAL IN MARKET MARKET GOING TO MAKATI. MUCH CHEAPER THAN GRAB.
Ah interesting! Could do that I suppose. I didn't mind paying the 80-100pesos via moto taxi.
you need to try the real Makati. You're in the redlight district. Go to Legazpi Village and Salcedo Village Makati. They're very clean and modern compared to the part of Makati you're in
You're saying BGC isn't clean??
@@Reardon_Explores I'm saying you're acting as if Makati and BGC are complete opposites. They're not. You're just staying in the bad part of Makati
Really? So, Ayala Circuit is part of the red light district? (not sarcasm). I just found my area to be a bit local feeling rather then modern-developed and attractive to tourists.
manny new modern city in the philippine
Yes. The cities are really pushing the limits. Nice to see contrast.
Some Pilipinas understand English but are too shy to respond or speak in English. English is taught in all schools from grade 4 up to highschool and most especially in college.
Ah that's right! I see how some are shy to speak. Speaking another language can be intimidating. Sometimes just need to take it slow
cheapest place to eat there is either at z 7eleven or heavens bbq on 26th street, and there are other cheap eats there aw well
Ah okay. That is good to know for future visits. Thanks!
They are building two new cities right now by the Manila Bay and will be way better than BGC, Ortigas, and Makati. Anyway i love cats and i give them food when i see them in the streets of LA and in my backyard as well.
That's why the world has people like you! :) Love the Philippines!
You're a handsome man
Thanks
You look like a volleyball player from Brazil
Hahaha really? I hope it's not a female volleyball player 😂
Hes bruno rezende ,also handsome, of course a male team .
Hahaha damn I was hoping from a female team. Then it's more worth looking up on Google haha
Manila's 30 degrees heat at night 😅😅
Yeah, well it's only 14.5 degrees north of the Equator, so that explains a lot
Philippines was a US territory until 1945. So we have a lot of American influence...
Yes, that is true.
Dogs/cats are everywhere in the Philippines 😅 in malls, you might see an owner carrying a dog/cat in stroller, as if a baby 😅
Haha yes i've seen it. It's funny but cute too haha
