You have to decide if the $300 price tag for this (and unknown planned obsolescence) is a better deal than the monthly payments from other trackers. At the current monthly fees of devices, if this Sizzapp lasts longer than 3 years then its the better option budget wise. But what is the life expectancy of this unit?

No reply from the guy certainly speaks volumes. And I agree, what guarantee do we have that the company won't declare bankruptcy in a few years? With monthly subscriptions you at least have the peace of mind knowing that the company is receiving a constant and steady supply of cash flow each month. The lack of this for Sizzapp is in and of itself a deal breaker for me 😕

​​​@@YowzoeI agree. There's no guarantee the company won't go down under a few years down the road from now. It's insane to be investing 300 bucks into something that has no surety. No wonder insurance companies don't recognise Sizzapp and their tracker as a rated and approved security device.

I sometimes ride in very isolated areas where phone reception (4G) gets dropped, will this still work then?
Also, can this device be used by someone at home to tell where I am in case of a crash or breakdown on a isolated road or area? I frequently ride alone on Forest Service roads way in the boonies and my wife worries that she could never find me or where to send help if needed. Thanks

The device requires a network to receive and transmit data. However, the device will still accumulate data in its internal memory and transmit it as soon as the network is available again. Yes, we have a "Sharing" feature that will help your loved ones see where you are in real time, if the network is available!

Yes, you can use SIZZAPP on your e-scooter, but then you need to use a DC-DC converter or you can connect it directly to a 12V controller.
