I just come here everytime to watch and listen to this guy play and talk. He is just so happy whilst doing his job that is something out of this world.
Hi Gabriel, Loved the presentation. Between you and another guy (Aik Tsn) on RUclips, I'm really sold on this machine. I'm hoping to have my own by Christmas. I've been playing a PSR S770 for some years now, but from what I see, the SX900 is an order of several magnitudes magnified. As much as I really like the Genos system it wasn't for me. It was too large to fit in my car, and didn't have the built in speaker system that gigging musician needs. Speaking of which, the enhanced speaker system will enable me to fill a room of the size I usually play for without external speakers. Not having roadies to help setup, this alone would be an incredible help to me. Too, from everything I've heard, this is going to enable me to make the change from Semi-Pro to Pro. For a 79 year old musician I'm eagerly anticipating the future as by playing, I can bring such a powerful healing help to so many people. Thanks again!
I think I identify with you, Robert. I'm 76 and enjoy sharing my musical gifts mostly with seniors who were brought up on the music I have appreciated over the years. I'm not into a lot of the contemporary scene. Mostly traditional sounds and songs.... quite a lot of country and southern gospel along with hymns that many in the nursing homes and retirement homes can associate with. Can't really afford another keyboard but God knows our needs and will supply them. Hope to have one shortly so I can make use of it during the Christmas season. Answer? Faith and prayer. Have a great day and enjoy the gift God has enabled you to use for the blessing of others as well as yourself.
Thank You, Gabriel for your time and simple approach for some of us beginners...... I know you're a professional and probably get tired of hearing this, but please keep the videos coming for us who are new to the PSR-SX900.
Oh and yes we all no what Korg has and has had for many years but digging down through many screens to get to the point is not my thing. I want to play and not take half the darn day in a deep dive learning curve. So many kudos to Yamaha for making it so much simpler.
I still have an old psr s710 and the pianos. elecs & acoustics sound ptetty much the same as these newer models. he does nt say if they are upgraded and if they are it does nt sound likethey are that much different. I am wary of getting the same keyboard in new packaging as I am still really happy with the psr s710..best thing I ever bought infact!
The PSR sounds remind me of the best sounds in the world...the Genos itself. They are crisp, sharp, mellow...I mean, all those great words to describe sound. The also sound the realist to me.
I have been using yamaha for very long time and I really like it. the psrsx brought new features and what the most I like about it is... the 3rd layer in the voice section and also I like the introducer.👍
Great coverage and very informative. I should be getting my sx900 within a few days and I am a beginner so really looking forward to having fun this keyboard! Thanks for a great intoduction to this keyboard!
Went and played this keyboard at the music store, it's pretty nice! But in comparison 2 my MOXF, I definitely prefer the sound quality on the MOFX, just wish it had that color screen, and was as easy 2 use.
God some of these people are so full of it. Yes the key board is far behind the times especially for Yamaha but the voices are noted, and not many other key boards in the price range can even compare. Mine will be here next Monday I hope. Just ordered it Friday. Takes about 7 to ten days ground shipping I cant wait...
So interesting Sir, your mode of teaching styles . superb great sharing!!! Please mention about 61 keys and 76 keys differences which is better to buy . Please suggest.
I had my PSR 3000 forever before I Started ever using the vocal harmonizer .It is really powerful and I could sing CSNY AND sound just like it.NOThing is better than YAMAHA (ps I remember freaking out about the price too ...but man ...you get your moneys worth .
Great demo Gabriel! I have a question, I use PSR s950 for a long time already and I always have awkward results in playing music with time signature changes in a song. I hope there’s a better way than sync stop. Thank you and love the way you play and explain your demos. It’s entertaining !!!👍
Yamaha releases their new arranger frequently but don't do much changes, it's same as like s975. Yamaha should learn from Ketron that how to sample drum sound.
Was messing with one of these today in the shop really like it, Alot of tweeking can be done But the 🔊 speakers needs too b put up high to get anything out of them...
You'll still need a 100 watt bass amp to make it sound the way it does in these promotional clips . . . . The on board amp is only 10 to 15 watts at best.. That's not enough ...
Very elaborate intro about this PSR900. Have no plans to get it, But enjoyed the video thoroughly. Thanks. Good luck for your next video. Does Yamaha has an India specific version of this keyboard?
I notice that no matter how good this keyboard might be they still have to use other speakers to enhance the sound quality. And, they still don't tell you what speakers they are using.
Butterery Smooooth. That's Gabriel 'Checking out some organs ! Oooh Matron. This keyboard reeks of the early 90s with a Kenny Rogers face lift .A superfluous Frankenstein.
fnnally, review of PSR-SX900 comes. what's bad about this? lesser voices than Genos? Yes. Although numbers of voices had improved from PSR-S975 1:25 *NOW IT HAS TOUCHSCREEN!!! FINALLY!!!!!* nO MORE ATM SIDE BUTTON!!!! 4:22 More voices appears added! improvement from previous PSR-S975 4:25 *SADD* No CFX Grand! not worth it!!! 5:29 DX7. How Hatsune Miku look was inspired. However, *No Hatsune Miku & VOCALOID included, still. SADD* 6:15 Now the question is: *Does PSR-SX has SquareStackJS?* We need that! as a vocal part on some Yamaha Musicsoft MIDIs 7:57 Now that's realistic experience! 8:43 Hmstdve, I wonder how to control these drawbars from the MIDI file, making it realistic and ASMR!!! 10:15 Like usual. *Simulated Some human is playing the Guitar but it's inside the Keyboard.* Seriously Fetish ASMR!!! 10:22 It's an *Articulation* . This is available on every *S.Art* Super Articulation Voices 13:33 The S Art have someone *Breathes in* before playing!!! 14:49 Some realistic Vocals!!! yeah.. 15:25 80s Synth! TL;DR 42:59 I wish there is **S Art Hatsune Miku** so I can have human-like singing on a MIDI file! don't buy SX900 if you want to make MIDI that enters Billboard. Wait! if you go Yamaha Musicsoft dot com and set Device to PSR-SX900, you'll be suggested with XT3. The best one should be G1 instead. G1 is Genos. So this SX900 to me is *not worth it!* yeah. Hello, Kraft Music. Please respond if you guys are operated by human. lol. thancc.
I think you guys should bring back the the GS-1 but better like how Roland did the Jupiter 80 and made the Jupiter 8 but better the GS 1 still needs to be the same style but way better sounds maybe some presets from the og is library and definitely new presets
I love Yamaha keyboards, but I regret that I'm going to have to settle for another brand of arranger workstation. A lot of my songs rely on the ability to lift your left hand & have all except the drums & percussion drop out. There's a 'Left Hold' on the Yamahas, but an 'Accompaniment Hold' (that can be disabled) would be way more useful, like some of the other manufacturers have. I understand that you can drop out the accompaniment (leaving the drums/percussion going) by playing three adjacent notes on Yamahas in the accompaniment section, but I find this really counter intuitive & very awkward to do, especially in an uptempo song. This video (link below) explains what I'm talking about quite well: ruclips.net/video/Rs37j6dRWFk/видео.html So, as much as I love the sound, reliability & most of the functionality of the Yamahas, I cannot use them because they lack this vitally important function that I believe all arranger keyboards should have. It may even become possible with a software update, but until then (if at all) I'll be forced to buy & use a Ketron ......SORRY!
Hello..there is a plan to buy sx900..but little confusion about touch screen..is it user friendly to use...which is the best one for church use sx900 or psr s975??is touch display works good...won’t it get hang like mobile display??
Kevin Allen I want to know the breakdown in the quality and response of the instruments as compared to the Genos. I have an 88’ Kronos 2, an Integra 7 and will have spent money on a Fantom 7 in 6 weeks. I’m looking for some top-of-the-line Yamaha sounds, but $2,200 is way better than $6,700 . . . Are their shared instruments equals?
Is this keyboard easy access for person with disabilities especially for blind and I had somewhere else that metronome has not have its own button in this keyboard Please do reply waiting for it
There's a read aloud upgrade you can freely download (takes all of the expansion memory on the 700 though), and there are dots around the touchscreen for that purpose.
"Children of all ages". Yep. I am a 51-old one, for example 😎
I just come here everytime to watch and listen to this guy play and talk. He is just so happy whilst doing his job that is something out of this world.

I got this as my 12 birthday which is today and I’m loving it keep up the awesome work 😋🙂😄
Thank You, Gabriel for your time and simple approach for some of us beginners...... I know you're a professional and probably get tired of hearing this, but please keep the videos coming for us who are new to the PSR-SX900.

A well laid-out demo, thanks!. Of course, your playing abilities are overwhelming, but they show how much you can achieve with this instrument
This video makes my current keyboard have depression 😪
I'm just joking, keyboards don't live but they make you live, through music and sound 😏👏👏👏
This guy is best demo
great demo gabriel, the way you explain everything is a joy
It’s like watching Jim Carrey with all his face expressions.

I have been using yamaha for very long time and I really like it. the psrsx brought new features and what the most I like about it is... the 3rd layer in the voice section and also I like the introducer.👍
This man is a legend.
Great coverage and very informative. I should be getting my sx900 within a few days and I am a beginner so really looking forward to having fun this keyboard! Thanks for a great intoduction to this keyboard!
Crazy Gravy Don’t get overwhelmed . . . It’s a powerful instrument, particularly as a first keyboard.
For the first time ever it got a touchscreen... Woohoooh.
Korg trinity came with a large touchscreen in frickin 1995
This keybord is GREAT, the sound is so nice and clean, very good job Gabriel, you are funny, oh yes
My wife would love this PSR ... 👍
Very useful. Thank you, Gabriel.
Went and played this keyboard at the music store, it's pretty nice! But in comparison 2 my MOXF, I definitely prefer the sound quality on the MOFX, just wish it had that color screen, and was as easy 2 use.

Great demo. Thank you
Great information by a very professional person
What a yummy presentation! I take it - together with the presenter!😉❤️
Good salesman! An interesting and engaging overview of this instrument. Now to just save up the cash - goals are good to have!
I'm thinking Yamaha hires their demo people on open mike nights.

Touch screen is good really helpful it wont hand like mobile bcuz you are not using it too often like how you do with ur cellph
The touch screen is nice. It works well to control the keyboard.
We got the same name . Well first name
A Yamaha poderia ajudar e responder algumas perguntas aqui, onde esta suporte consumidor?
Super demo
Hey, I don’t see a ballad style button. Is it removed.
Ballad is under pop and rock.
Does it differ in sound quality from PSR SX 700?
No dude... no difference in sound quality... don't worry
No.. Both have same sound engine
Can the player be synchronized to an outside MIDI clock?
Very good😍
Starts off by saying how good the internal speakers are, so why has he got it connected to external speakers ?
the speakers are actually AMAZING! Our church owns one, and Its remarkable.
Has it connected to a recording device.
Firsttttttt. Who's thinking about getting this?

I've meet a blind man the uses a yamaha psr s975 and a tyros 4. he makes it look easy. he said he dosnt like the genos because its touch screen.
There's a read aloud upgrade you can freely download (takes all of the expansion memory on the 700 though), and there are dots around the touchscreen for that purpose.
Amazing psr
