Kedbuka yeah but you have to remember also that when Camacho fought Ramirez, he won by a landslide. I am not taking anything away from Ramirez, through, I am Puerto Rican also like Camacho and Rosario and I have written to the International Boxing Hall of Fame several times asking for Ramirez to be inducted.
@@capitalgains4194 Somebody told me recently that Ramirez doesnt belong because he lost to Ray Mancini...lol (personally Im iffy about Boom Boom being in myself) what a load of hogwash...so I guess Roberto Duran won't belong either according to the person who said that. I guess it's not surprising that Rosario said the best southpaw he'd ever faced was Camacho, seeing as how he's a fellow Puerto Rican. But it was another southpaw, Jose Luis Ramirez, who knocked him out.
Well, after this Pernell Whitaker knocked out Nazario in the 1st round to become WBC/WBA/IBF light champ, first unified lightweight since Duran and the last --- YET Rosario was a 3 time lightweight title holder and he'd move up after this to 140 pounds, at 40-4, to challenge WBA jr welter champ, 28-1-1 Loreto Garza (who just beat Coggi, and Pazienza) Rosario would stop him in the 3rd round to become a 2 division champ after being a 3 time champ in 1 division. 41-4 Rosario's first defense he'd be Kayoed in the 1st by 19-1 Akinobu Hiranaka and by Janurary 1993 he fought Frankie Randall at welterweight and got kayoed a 41-5 Rosario (which may have led Randall to his 1993 fight with Chavez) That's when Rosario retired in 1993, at 41-6, but came back in 1997 - he fought above jr welter but not full fledged 147 pounder, as he went 5-0 with 4 kayos it was a good year back, and busy by September 1997 at only 34 years old, 47 wins 41 kayos, 6 losses, yet before another title shot he sadly passed away that December 1997
Robert Yes Chapo was always great to watch. Rosario was no Duran when it came to avoiding punches, but he was still one of the very best lightweight/junior welterweight fighters. Great combination puncher - not at his best here. He didn't do himself any favors getting mixed up with that party culture. Very sad the way it ended for him....

Yea if arturo gatti is in the hall of fame how the hell is JL Ramirez not in the hall of fame Ramirez would beat gatti no problem what so ever
