If I purchase a 2011 Murano with 100k+ miles, and I will only drive it from home to work and not state to state, will this car last me for like about 10 years?
Yes overall very reliable vehicles. The only issue where you should have caution is the transmission, the CVT has been known to fail past 100k miles, a replacement is $6,000. If you plan on keeping it that long I would look into buying an extended service contract that will cover the transmission as long as possible. Aside from that the rest of the car is reliable. Also look out for engine sludge. If previous owner did not do regular oil changes the VQ35 engine is known to develop engine sludge in which only solution is new engine. I would get it inspected by Nissan tech first and see if the transmission was ever replaced or any history of issues before buying.
Look out for engine oil sludge, will need a new engine if thats the case, also look for transmission judder from the CVT transmission, it can be expensive to repair or may need a new transmission. The engine oil sludge is caused when people dont do regular oil changes.
got a 2011 yesterday all the options but navigation package very nice car
These are such beautiful vehicles. Great engine too.
Still stunning even in 2020!
