2 Corinthians 9:7 7 Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.
No one can serve both God and Mammon. Giving is the way we can show our faith in God’s economy, not conforming to the financial patterns of this world. And without faith, it is impossible to please God and I can testify that you cannot outgive Him!!
What you are saying made me think a lot. With my spouse, we have done these things without thinking about it! So here's my quesion...... What are the three festivals?...... You mentioned something very entriguing to me. I have loved meeting GOD with scriptures by gardening and raising chickens. LOL This started after my kids turned into teens. With that I gave away my eggs, with no fees at all. Most were believers who wanted them. Now, my children are grown and I garden and when I recieve anything outside of my little crops, I enjoy canning them with spices and give them back to the person. Usually believers. It just dawned on me, how we should give of our abundance or even what we get from others. The BODY of Christ. This season coming will be in such a way that we will need to do these acts. Given to the less fortunate and giving of the wisdom GOD, gives us to help each other. GOD enjoys releasing even more to those who are faithful to do this and not hoard. So it can be anything. We recieve but we need to "bite the bullet", our modern saying, and just give. This is the circumcision of the heart. And it must be of the heart and not grumbling. The emotional cutting so to speak opens our heart more and more to give and GOD knows all about that! The Circumcision of the heart, as HE wanted in the Beginning, but too much was all about the laws and grumbling. The source of punishment for not doing a rule. NOW, we fight our own selfish desires and sometimes we need to set our minds in the right place. The battle, but this time its the reward, not the punishment. It's a different world to live in. My quesion.... what about the three festivals. Some were fulfilled... So which one's are you speaking of? I know our church collects the tithe and we also give to minsitries from them. On top of that we give in a away during seasons to a one place two times a year for missions. The problem is we do not teach that it fits with a jewish festival, so we need to change! We do and many are soooo fearful of laws again. But we miss out so much by "throwing out the baby with the bath water" - Christ! What a picture. Anyway.... We do the 1st the sacrifice and resurrection. There is another which is the H.S. arrival on believers but it s not celebrated with many, many! We do that memory of the Birth, but that is NOT a GOD festival. This is going to be hard by those who are still drinking milk to understand the TRUTH. GOD speaking through HIS set up, not Jews making this thing up is a thing we need to get over! Fear is NOT from the LORD! Truth is! Anyway. Please clearifyl. It starts with a few and the testimonies of them to light the H.S. fire . Thank you for this unveiling! Thank you for your testimony. It's right on! GOD is doing a marvelous thing for us all if we can just let us get out of the way. I have just gone through a time of loss and less but I see a change here now. I want to be obedient for I am here and it's to prove my savior lives and He is truely wisdom packed agape! We must live in the training of "love being completed in us", number one to GOD and than the brother and sister in Christ. That the world will see and understand more!
