I was kind of thinking about this, this morning; and how much we take on when we do everything in our own name, image and likeness without distinction.
I don't think it's something you have to regret, but eventually take on having to honor it.
There's probably a sense of personal natural mans peace in not being subject to being immediately recognizable by name image or likeness.
The Jesus and the Christ so to speak, if I had a consistent alias aspects of my life would be much easier, maybe for everyone; but also wouldn't have it any other way...

A part of having a stage name is you have to use it. Simon and Saul bore their testimony by their changed names, Peter and Paul. Bill (If-Thats-Your) Reel (Name), the more you post easy-to-find sources telling us his real name, thinking you've proved your conspiracy, the less we think its a conspiracy, because you've proven its public record.

@@dirkjensen969 Most RUclips channel names are not people's real names, but I didn't mean to start a RUclips channel, I just wanted to comment on a video, I just did what it told me I had to do to comment, and when it asked for a name I took it literally. Most of the best names are already taken anyways.

I'll set the record straight just in case our concerned friend Bill happens to read this (I've blocked his trollings on my personal social media): My name is Scott Chrisotpher Claflin. My business or "stage name" if you will, is Scott Christopher. The only times in the past 35 years or so (since I was a morning radio "personality") that I've used Claflin is on taxes (before I was incorporated) and at church (Hi, Brother Claflin, how are the Clafllins doing today?) I was hired, yes hired for filthy rotten lucre (but at a pretty reasonable discount, I must humbly admit), as host of A Marvelous Work where I "play" myself. It's really strange but somehow the testimony that Scott Christopher has of the Book of Mormon and gospelly stuff is the exact same testimony that Scott Claflin has. Pretty fascinating, isn't it Bill?

Even when a RUclipsr does a documentary type thing or hosts an award show or something, do they introduce themselves by their real name, or by the name they're most known by? Even if they share something personal and heartfelt, most people will still go by their most-known name, and not necessarily their legal name. Would it be more palatable if his stage name was less similar to his legal name?

Bill Reel is not an actor, he's a pretender and the worse kind at that. Do you remember on their show when they "Shot Rosbud down in flames?" (I made a video about this) Bill Reel said, live on air, that he hardly knew John Dehlin. Dehlin and his son had a photo taken with Bill, at his pawn shop, two days before! He'd been on Mormon Stories about three times and photos with him from 2018 or 2016! A Total liar. Totally "lying for His Lord," John Dehlin.

Isn't Church History and Truth/Authority Claims controversial enough??? Should Joseph Smith have used a "stage name"??? ACCURACY when discussing LDS HISTORY/BOOK OF MORMON....100% ACCURACY....TRUTH AND FACTS.....should be The Goal...should be The Standard. Here's the thing about exmos. When Bill Reel says something dumb or had a bad take, I say so. I don't defend him for his lapses of judgement. And this bad take doesn't destroy his credibility because he doesn't claim to be incapable of bad takes and this bad take doesn't negate the other good takes he's had. Compare that to how believing members respond to bad takes by the church. Often, they defend and absolve the church regardless of the church's mistakes.

@@WARDRADIO Pay a visit to r/Mormon. The discussion there is about as fair and balanced as it can get. Bad takes are challenged, no matter where they're coming from. Bill Reel gets criticized. John Dehlin gets criticized. There's an attempt to hold people to a higher standard, which shouldn't be a bad thing for the church to strive for either.

Hahahaha, I cant tell the diff between podcasts since RFM and Bill Reel merged, but Bill Reel would delete comments critical to him or his messages on his podcast website. Bill has an extremely thin skin and thinks he’s always right. For example, Bill reel made the claim that there is scientific proof same-sex attraction is epigenetic and thus those with it have no choice. When he was challenged to cite one study which has identified a protein, an antigen, a peptide, a lipid, an amino acid, a nucleic acid, or an amino acid which is the trigger mechanism to a gene marker switch enables epigenetics he couldn’t do it. That’s because science has been trying for decades and hasn’t been able to do it. Bill just deleted the comment because he realized how wrong he was and didnt want others to see he wasn’t the genetic scientist he was making himself out to be. Hahahaha you have no idea.
