This is by far the best video start to finish that I have seen for a carving breakdown and tutorial. I have yet to find a start to finish video like this that really breaks down each cut, its purpose, why and how. Please keep making videos like this. Keep crushin it!
this look really good! and I love how you're going methodically and every cut has purpose and is very accurate. Other carvers I've seen tend to make big fast cuts (myself included) and usually over cut it or mess it up some how. I'm gunna take ur advice and slow it down and think about the purpose and visualize the piece. I like the advice about rounding as you go and making precise cuts that don't over cut. Really helpful video and great job! please keep making them :)
I am so glad your doing tutorials now, I have to admit, I didn't always watch all the way through on the fast vids. Thanks Kyle! I will be watching a lot more of your vids now.
Here is my beginner carving playlist. These are all beginner tutorials! Hope this will help you out ! 😁. ruclips.net/p/PLKwOlFslxwi4flqLp_qSLqFJgCu4jiNKD&si=FIDYIzEocquoX23J
Thank you for sharing. I like the two angles on camera views, it really helps me understand better what you are doing and how you are moving through the cuts.👍😊
Thanks Kyle! I appreciate the talking - lots of detail. You’re the Bob Ross of carvers - you have a comforting voice. I’ve carved 5 bears since watching your other bear tutorial a couple months ago on using a stock ms170. I’m just sticking to you’re playbook for now and trying to get a little return - I’m carving a bear army all for a Labor Day bear sale. I call it Bearfest. These bears are priced to sell. I hope to keep at it and really develop this new skill. I can’t quit my day job yet though. Thanks again!
Been watching a ton of carving vids. Really like the clarity of you audio, video, and explanation of techniques. Also dig your go to market mentality. Thanks for your extra effort.
Thanks for the video! My biggest issue is working on overcuts, sometimes I'm right on it and can tell where my saw is how deep on my other cut other times no.
Great video, thanks. Just wanted to let everyone know your favorite store (harbor freight) has jaw horse on clearance for $99. Only this weekend, at least here in Florida don't know about new york
Kyle I want to thank you for what you do it helps I have been carving most of my life started when 16 im 57 now but I be using chisels Im have to get a battery saw but Im learning a lot until i get one I do have a poland but i cant pull the pull rope it mess up my shoulders
Been a subscriber for a while now, Kyle is my go to guy when I’m creating new projects, always go back to the basics like this and always learn something new. Question Kyle? What type of wood is that and is it green or seasoned? What is your favorite wood to use? Thank you and keep sending those videos. Mike
Good name for the series. Please do a good, up close furring vid! Great videos, I’m new and working to improve. Furring seems to be one of the things I’m struggling with.thanks
Really enjoy you videos. Trying to learn chainsaw carving bears. What kind of dust mask is that you use and where did you get it? Everything I have tried causes glasses to fog up. Thank You Very Much

I wear the RZ masks they still fog sometimes I have to wear my glasses just right . There is usually a link to them in my video descriptions
Do you think this can be done with a stock bar? What would be the challenge??
So far this is done with a bar that would be close to stock on a Stihl ms170-180
Привет Келл , а можешь подробнее показать как делается голова медведя
I have some more beginning cut for cut videos in the beginner Carver playlist
How do you sell your work?
I will work on a video discussing it
you are going a cut above where you where
