How unfair can football be sometimes. We were only out of the top 6 four times that season and the lowest was 8th. Watford went on an unbelievable run right at the end of the season and won 7 or 8 games on the bounce. I was gutted that night but some of the football that season at Blues was fantastic

As you see from the highlights, we totally dominated the game. Alec Chamberlain was magnificent that night. I think you can always tell who is going to miss the penalty by the look on their face and the run up - Holland tried to rush it rather than take his time, and that is what cost us.

Same here was there, nearly cried walking back home down the Coventry Rd.the fans in the ground were fantastic that night I don't think I ever knew St Andrews to be so load.heart breaking night. I remember what my dad told me " you will loved the blues but they always break your heart " true as well. kro!

We deserved to win that based on chnaces, especially the Ndlovu one and even the Jonno one at the end - I was 11 at the time and in tears when Holland missed
