Your videos are so valuable as I plan our upcoming trip to Spain. Spain is a country so blessed with history and your videos present that so well. Thanks!
Thank you so much for this video and your video on Montserrat. With your help, I’ve finished our itinerary for our trip to Spain. I think my son will love the City of Arts and Science Museum.
Thank you, Conor. We've been to Valencia umpteenth times so rather than describing a single trip we tried to present here the knowledge accumulated along time. All the best!
I'm ready! Another great and helpful video. I am thinking next spring break doing 2 days in Valencia, then one each in Teruel, Albarracin, and Tarragona. However, since our break is over Semana Santa this year, I worry about cost of travel and wonder if all attractions will be open.
Hi Fred, during the bank holiday public spaces such as public markets will remain closed. All the tourist attractions will open. The only interference might come from Easter celebrations (processions). Accommodation tends to be more expensive during the Easter bank holiday.
My friend Tony, my wife and I love your videos as we prepare to move to Spain in November. We are working diligently on our Spanish, but in regards to the tours of Albufera, do you think we can find English speaking tours?
Hi Mike, we are not sure about the English tours, maybe during the high season. As you will be based in Valencia, double check with the local tourist office once you are there. All the very best to you on your move to Spain!
Very nice video, Tony. We'll visit Valencia next month. Since there is no direct high-speed train from Barcelona to Valencis, is there other train connecting these two cities? Thanks
Hi, yes, there are other trains, they run at more that 200 kmh so they are not really slow trains. You can check schedules here ruclips.net/video/MYqz41n5Qn4/видео.html
Hi tony thank you for this video ! Do you have links for the La Albufera restaurants recommendations ? And any recommendations for restaurants in historic center? Thank you again! Have a great day!
Greeting! And thank you so much for all the information you provide in your entertaining videos. Can you recommend a hotel in Valencia? We plan on being there in early January 2025, after spending Christmas in Barcelona . Thanks!
Hi David, we haven't got a video yet on accommodation in Valencia, and blank hotel recommendations are not our thing. Choose a location either in the centre of Valencia or near the City of Arts. If you find a hotel that fits your needs and want to know our opinion, just give us a shout! All the best!
Gracias Cecilia and Tony for you wonderful videos. My family and I will be visiting your beautiful country next January. And we will be spending 3 days in Valencia, so this video is perfect. Would you know if in January there is a train from Valencia to Girona, that does not pass thru Madrid ? We may also rent a car for that journey instead of taking a train. Thanks again, love your videos. ❤Nancy from Canada😊
Hi Nancy, hope you'll have a splendid time in Valencia. There is no direct train to Girona we know of, but it's easy, take a train to Barcelona and change at Sants station to the train for Girona. All the best!
Hola, todavía no tenemos ese vídeo, pero intenta alojarte o bien en el centro histórico, o bien cerca de la Ciudad de las Artes y las Ciencias. Un saludo.
Valencia had thirteen doors un its walls. Four were the main ones, on the North, south, east and west. And another nine, smallers ones for the neighbours diary ways...
Thanks Tony for great information. Which area in Valencia do you recommend for budget solo traveler to stay? I've browsed booking website, the recommended hostel was booked out for early Oct. The others have different kind of problem.
Hello, you can walk around the complex at night, but the Museum, the IMAX cinema and the Oceanarium have their own timetables. You could see all in one day but the Oceanarium is so big (and the ticket pricey) that you would probably feel sorry you had to rush through the visit. But you could to museum, oceanarium and one IMAX movie in the same day, yes.
Hi, sounds like a good card but you need to do your maths and work out if it's going to be a good investment for you, based on the places you intend to visit.
Good question for which we don't have a definite answer. I mean, we know where to eat a good paella but you are specifically asking for paella for one person, which is not always offered. Perhaps you could ask at the tourist office when you get there.
Our train will arrive at Chamartin at 17:35 is it possible and enough time to take the next train to Valencia also from Chamartin at 18:45? Please advise from your experience. Thank you

Thank you so much for this very informative video. We are planning to visit Valencia this summer and we are going to use this info for sure!
Excellent, Valencia is such a wonderful city!
What a fantastic, in-depth video. Many of the locations featured here are places I have never seen mentioned in other videos.

Thank you! We haven't done a proper video on the topic, but at La Albufera we quite like Casa Teresa in El Saler.
Thank you 😊

Millie, either the historic centre or near the Ciudad de las Artes will do.
Beautiful video. Is it possible to visit the city of arts and science museum all the buildings in one day?
Does this place also open at night?

Hi Tony ! I was wondering what your thoughts are on the Valencia tourist card. Is it worth it if we are staying 3-4 days ? Thank you. Paula
Hi, sounds like a good card but you need to do your maths and work out if it's going to be a good investment for you, based on the places you intend to visit.
La Marina Real fue renovada para albergar la 32° America's cup u luego llego el GP de Fórmula 1

Hello ! I was wondering if you had restaurant recommendations in Valencia 😊
Hi, not yet.
There's lots. It depends in your tastes and budchet...
Could you do Valencia as a day trip from Madrid?
Not really. See the minimum number of days we recommend for Valencia and other Spanish cities here: ruclips.net/video/GkgrYc89s_o/видео.html
You could but I think you need at least 3 days.... But in one day you can enjoy part of the city
Our train will arrive at Chamartin at 17:35 is it possible and enough time to take the next train to Valencia also from Chamartin at 18:45? Please advise from your experience. Thank you
One hour should be enough.

I would like to aks that if after 5:30 pm the visiting places at the old city part of Valencia remains open till sunset?
Sunset time changes considerably along the year. It will depend on the time of the year.
3 nights is far too short a time, we are coming for a whole week.
Valencia have a metro card similar to barcelona?
There is a card to pay for transport trips in Valencia, but it's more like the Tarjeta Multi in Madrid.
