Hey Seth, very nice origami! I love it. I had some dificulties in folding because of the video quality. Sometimes its hard to see the crease, and we do a wrong one. It would be nice if you show the diagram while you make the creases. Something like Jo Nakashima does. But anyway, thans a lot for the tutorial.
I just wasted about half an hour of my life to get a FLAT SHEET OF PAPER. There are so many folds that it is impossible to keep them straight anymore. This is craziness. Cool design, glad others were able to do it, but I'm about to have an anxiety attack from frustration. Definitely paying attention to how long to tutorial is next time.
Hannah Ward I think that this tutorial is very clear and much easier to follow than many online with clear landmarks and good lighting. I think perhaps you tried a model too complicated for your current level of folding but I wouldn't be disheartened, after folding a few complex models or having a few years of folding under your bet, you should manage much better. If you are a beginner, then attempting to to jump in at the deep end and fold this model sounds a bit foolhardy.
LOL. Half an hour. Wait until you get obsessed with origami. You can spend hours and even when you complete the model it takes much more practice to get it looking perfect. This is a labor of love that can be frustrating but success is so sweet.
i think you are as good (or better than) jo nakashia and tadashi mori! succes, i think you will become as known as jo nakashima and tadashi mori when you go upload more videos!
I was defeated at 36:15, its too many small folds that have to come in togheter, i went all to way to making the head, but since i didnt do this par right, it was impossible to fold it correctly, ill try it again soon, thanks for the video

Yeah jo nakashima's origami is nice but it is not so complex as seth's......He should have diagram on the top right corner just like jo.......

Try to fold the crease line 22.5 degrees. That is is half of 45 degrees.
