Tim, Thanks so much for documenting this build. I have recently started a kit build of a Super Koala that looks to be very close to what you are doing from prints. This is my first time building so I have some questions. Why do you jack your assembly above the table rather than build it directly on the table surface?
Because I'm lazy... although it's more work to set it up, in the long run it's easier, with less flipping and aligning. And less work trying to get/keep my table flat. I'll post your question and my answer tonight. I don't advocate or recommend doing it this way. I just couldn't keep a flat table.
