I’ve watched this dude play so many times, and it still amazes me that he could do what nobody else could on the golf course. Just epic greatness in every way. If he was born 2000 years ago they would’ve said he was Gods child.

I used to work on the golf course my teen years maintaining the grass nicely cut. What a hard tiring job it was!

I gotta ask: What's up with the 90's-tastic straight-to-VHS music and intro credits editing?! I feel like I'm about to watch a D.A.R.E. presentation, or learn how to use my new copy of Windows 95 or something.

It was a different era. Golf was considered very elitist and Tiger had destroyed the myth that men of color could only be caddies. They were holding on to a dying age.

@@voyager1369 Uhhh, no. Golf is still an elitist sport but it has nothing to do with color. Maybe in the 1950s and 60s it did, but not by the time Tiger started in the PGA in the 90s, and definitely not by 2003. I wanted to switch from playing football in middle school to being on the high school golf team when I was going into the 9th grade in the fall of 1995. I couldn't do it and I am white. I grew up in the white people version of the projects, a trailer park. My parents may have been able to swing a pair of football cleats or basketball shoes with help from my grandma, but there was no way they could afford to buy all the stuff I would need to be on the golf team.

David Yoo the redesign in 2009 is why it doesn’t host the Western/BMW anymore, the players HATED it. Cog Hill was going to host a US Open before the redesign took it off the USGA’s radar…

@@TheLocalLt So what if the players hated it? That just means it's a tougher course, doesn't it? Better viewing for the fans and tv viewers. I don't play golf, i just enjoy watching greatness, so I spent the last few weeks watching reruns of Tiger kicking ass during his pomp. What a player he was. Is still probably.
But can't understand why the fact that the players didn't like the layout of a course has any bearing on whether the USGA use the course for tournaments or not. Or am I missing something?
