@Plλyer there is a bodygroup for the helmet on his model in HL1, but it's only used for the dead HEV scientists in Xen. meaning giving him no helmet in his HL1 model was a deliberate choice. also, you can't see a helmet on the HEV suit before you put it on.

i imagine that this track just represents the dangers of hunters and how they arent a force to be messed around with their powerfull charges and exploding projectiles, this track also may represent the despair of the combine with them trying not to fail miserably and sending everything to try and stop the kickass man: Gordon Freeman.

Not necessarily. The Combine still may have attacked Black Mesa East, and while it's possible that Gordon may not have had to go through Ravenholm due to the fact that he could have been in a different part of the base during the attack, the entire second half of the game would still have happened.
Yeah, plus episode 2 made it only take 4-7 hits if you shot it's bombs back at it with the gravity gun. (The lost coast chopper was a muted gunship reskinned with the helicopter model though.)

Gordon Freeman was the most wanted man alive ever. he killed so many combine. lead an uprising. killed the combines leader/administrator. while doing that destroyed the citadel. and entered the citadel to begin with. then he killed MORE combine. then officially destroyed the citadel leading to hl2 ep2. than killed EVEN MORE FREAKING COMBINE +HUNTERS. then took the combine super portal out. man, Goodluck getting out of all the stuff you did Gordon......
