After further research I have found that you're correct. They are neo magnets just different then what I'm use to dealing with. Thanks! Expect a video to be made by me correcting my error.
What you were saying about lipo ready surprised me as I went to a KRISS USA form to see if I could run a 11.1v in mine and I was told that that’s what they use to test their guns
The Krytac 30k motor is a neodymium magnet motor that can pull m150 spring with ease. When using a m120 spring is even more easier to use. So you don't need a strong battery to turn the motor. Normally a 15c - 20c will work just fine. When you use 25c, you are giving a lot more power to the motor to spin. Hence the stock m120 spring aren't enough resistance to stop spinning. If you want to use 25c, pair it with a m130 spring or m140 spring. Then again, when you use high tension spring, you have OTHER concerns like using solid bushing instead of the bearing. I know this because an official staff member of KRYTAC told me. (Kriss Allen told me)
+Jeffrey Chang A 25C rating can mean anything from .25 to 2500 amps depending on battery capacity? C rating alone is a pointless figure, that's why I prefer to use amps instead when talking about battery output.
Una pregunta amigo por que se me queda el pistón colapsado atrás y el muelle recogido después de un disparo en semiautomático entiendo que en full auto suele pasar y lo cambias a semiautomático y das dos disparos y se libera el muelle pero en mi caso no??gracias
So I just got mine on Friday. I'm new to airsoft so I don't know too much yet. I used it Saturday and was having some issues. If I fired too fast in single fire mode, the bbs would just start to drop a few feet ahead of me instead of firing in a normal straight path. I adjusted the hop up and switched to. 28 bbs and it did a little bit better.
Newer lrytacs have orings in there nozzels but i bought 2 new keytacs both had low fps issues under 320 fps bpon both out the box and 1 was semi locking and i was useing 7.4 and 11.1 titans but the low fps wasent a spring or compressions and air seal issue it was the gearbox was dry like cylender piston head the tracks on tne piston and gearboxs shells were the piston rides on and gears also dry once i oiled and greased it fps is at 400 to 405 on both my guns and one issue was the motor on both would heat up with light supressing onnsemi auto so swapped them for warhead motors other then that the inner barrel motor and trigger comtacts/mosfet were replaced with titan warhead and perun v2 hybrid and promi 6.3 275mm inner barrels befor i got my new ones in spring of 2023 but i do like my krytacs as i have 3 of them
i recently bought the trident spr foliage green a month ago & i put on the prommy purple bucking/416mm barrel and left the stock nub. shoots 400 fps. out performing the bcm mcmr and rwa battle arms lw on all size bbs in chrono reads. happy with my krytac. did you take the gun apart to oil it ? interested on using some sort of safe lubricant.
so, other than a way cooler MosFET, maybe correcting a bit of the AOE and shimming, what exactly do Umbrella do to the ones that are being sold by Evike for 1G?
Airsoft Integral inner barrel, rhop, stock and many other small things. The most expensive I think is the Gate TITAN and the adaptation of the gear box to fit that MOSFET, since it doesnt fit on the stock gearbox.
Any upgrades you’d recommend? I may do a piston upgrade (SHS High Strength Polycarbonate Piston w/ Steel Teeth for Airsoft AEG Gearboxes (Type: High Speed Lightened / 15 Teeth) I want to make sure the lmg when I get one has all it needs and make sure it won’t break on me or anything
-it depends on your barrel lenght maybe a cylinder upgrade -nozzle -gears (if u want more rps) -and if u want active brake... new wires and mosfet with active brake install
I have a question. As i was pulling my innerbarrel out, i noticed there was a 2 CM little spring falling out of my gun. It is NOT the longer spring wich goes over your innerbarrel. Anyone knows where that little spring belongs since i totally do not have a clue whatsoever
so I have a question.... in the first part of the video you said you need to reshim and correct angle of engagement. then you said they were near perfect. then you said they need to be fixed. then you said they were perfect.... so... which is it?
I never said they were perfect, I said they were near perfect. Stock shimming is 99.99% of the time, not perfect; but it's usually pretty close. Krytac was pretty close. But it was not perfect, it doesn't need to be fixed, but it could be fixed to make it better.
I am not sure, but I believe that the gold may be the result of a specific kind of treatment. I have seen some parts on military vehicles with the same appearance, and I have also seen it on starters in cars.
+TheDudeofDudes ITs called Titanium Nitrite coating and is used in high friction parts to increase longevity and makes it easier to clean away the gunk from shooting the weapon, like Bolts on assult rifles, it is what gives SAI weapons their golden look, it is expensive though and there is no need for it on the gearbox in an AEG
+Zhypher PewPew it's not titanium nitride. It's actually Zinc plating. Titanium nitride coating increases surface hardness and wear resistance to alloy steel while Zinc plating merely there for wear resistance.
Would you or should i upgrade an Alpha CRB with a "Maxx Model CNC Aluminum Hopup Chamber for M4 / M16 Series Airsoft AEG Rifles (Model: ME - PRO w/ LED / Limited Edition Red)"?
I have a trident series spr 47..no auto issues..I just bought it tho. Test fired in house..I have 11.1 Lipo 1100 mih. Would it have same gearbox as video?
Dude can you take a picture or just highlight the areas that need to dremeled in the krytac lvoa gearbox. I cannot seem to find this info anywhere. Also can the hop unit be switched out to a non rotary style hop unit without mods? If not what are the mods
Mine doesn't feed well on a 25c 5000mah 11.1v, but does fine on a 40c 5000mah 14.8v, and actually gets upwards of 29-31 from ear (would chrono but haven't gotten to ASB yet)
I totally agree. the stock air nozzle that Krytacs have aren't very good.. what kind of Air nozzle would you recommend? was thinking of a SHS Air nozzle.
Quick question! I wanted to put a longer barrel on it. stock the spr comes with a 380mm barrel, i wanted to put a Edgi 455mm barrel on it, either 6.04 or 6.05 inner diam. Will there be enough air volume in the chamber for that? I know the air ratio is important for accuracy. If im changing The barrel by 100 mm or so, will I have to tweak something else?
ive heard the word "mosfet" so much recently and im curious. im extremely new to airsofting and am saving up for a gun at the moment, but i was wandering, what are the benefits of a mosfet unit?
mosfet is used to avoid electrical arc on trigger contacts with lipo batteries if u run a lipo battery without mosfet u finally get trigger contacts burned cause of electrical arc caused for the battery amperage (cause lipo batteries have more amp discarge than a normal battery) that burn on contacts will create a layer of carbon who can make your contact stop working and need to replace it or at least clean it or scratch it with a rasp, but can make your replica stop firing cause that carbon layer doesnt have electrical conductivity u can use a no lipo battery, but that type of batteries have the better performance in airsoft replicas also u can change your battery and replica tamiya conectors for t dean ones for less ohm resistance and even better performance and durability of charge
Hey I'm a simple guy looking to fully understand all the nuts and bolts of all the parts and functions of airsoft rifles, it would help if u made a entire series of tutorials of going over different parts of the gun and fully go through like what's the function is, and how they will change your build, and also a full understanding between all these sector gears and mosfets, and everything because I'm looking to make a perfectly function rifle that will last long, fees rounds without a hick up, and know how to fix a problem when I need to
My SPR doesnt feed well on full auto either, im using a 11.1v 20C Valken lipo and KWA K120 mags. It never misses a beat on semi though. Its not a huge neccesity but itd be nice to have it if your cut off chip fixed it lemme know.
yes but don't get a prommy purple bucking just because everyone else does, it's good for like flat hop mods and stuff but the maple leaf. reaps and madbull red shark are all better for range
No... not necessarily. The stock hop components are actually pretty decent. I would only recommend swapping the bucking to a flat hopped Prometheus Purple with flat nub or a Maple Leaf bucking. Only barrel I would replace stock with is PDI. Hop up chamber is also good. Only would replace it with a Prometheus Neo Strike.
Leave the hop up unit alone. Get a prommy purple and flat hop it and get a flat hop up nub. Do some research on which one you need to choose because there are different hardness ratings. Throw a prommy tightbore 6.03 in and youre fine. Use some o rings to space it out and shim your inner barrel to the outer barrel with anything you can really.
Thanks for the great review. As with most people, I would like to maximize range and accuracy on my Krytac SPR. Do you have any personal upgrade recommendations? Thanks.
I have a krytac and I'm also having a feeding problem on full auto. So I'm taking your advice and getting a delay chip. But their are some made different, which delay chip do you recommend me buying?
What is a sector delay switch and how do you install it? (If you have a video a link would be appreciated) I noticed mine stops feeding often with my LiPos in it.
hey just so you know when you said the gun doesnt feed right on full auto, im honestly not sure what shitty mag u used because mine worked no problemo on full auto with a 11.1 lipo
Parker Jones not true. I have a trident and it is silver. The few waves of trident gearboxes shipped without the gold coating. It is completely random in tridents, and makes barely any difference
ToTheMax Interesting. Thanks for sharing that info. My son and I both have Tridents with the gold gearboxes and I’d recalled Krytac’s marketing info along the same lines. I just read a post on the Krytac forum where it was noted that the anti-corrosive coating is no longer gold.
well i got a problem. i rhop the hop up and but 6.03 madbull berrol and now my hop up can t be set up well. i set hop up on 7 and it felt like i put hop up on but when i put it on 8 bbs going sky high. i think to swap the hop up. Can you guys help me
First off love your videos they have been a great guide for me. So I picked up the krytac SPR with PDW Upper bundle. Greatest deal on the market by the way for anyone looking to buy new gun. So I'm looking to maybe start upgrading them. So the PDW right now shoots 335fps with stock 155mm gonna upgrade that to 185mm 6.03 which will hopefully put me closer to 350fps and hopefully get tighter groupings. That one is fine think that will do what I want. Real question is on my SPR setup. It is shooting right at 398fps and is stock with a 383mm 6.05 inner barrel. Now I don't want to go above 400fps to stay in field limits but want to increase my groupings and accuracy at further range. My best guess is to get this 370mm 6.03 and that will hopefully get me what I want and still keep the fps as close to 400fps without going over. The next size up is 407mm which would make it more accurate and better groupings but feel I would definitely end up over 400fps. So there's that then next thing is can all the stick krytac internals handle putting in a lonex a1 at 45k?Please let me know your amazing insight on this and sorry for long in depth comment
I had the same issue with the feeding issues. I got some decent G&P mags and now they feed perfectly. :) Is there an high-speed motor upgrade you can recommend, or would you say that the one it comes with is just fine?
With my lvoa-c I put in the following: Prometheus rhop barrel from Umbrella. Lonex a1 titan motor. Gate titan advanced edition. M125 spring. With .36 bbs I am accurate to 250ft and am sitting at 1.45 joules. With .28s I am at 1.55 joules and it's due to having to apply less hop.
im not haters. just dont judge me that way.. im friendly. lol. So im about to buy a gun... and im a fan of both of them but kwa is cheaper. Can you tell me what is wrong with kwa?
+Brian Sebastian Let me tell you my experience with KWA Kr9. I picked it up. Very good feeling and a pretty sturdy gun. Although i was not satisfied with the trigger response and internals. After getting some malfunctions in the gun i got another one as a replacement. Again very terrible and had malfunctions. I went through a 3 hour argument afterwards i got a refund and got the krytac CRB. No wobble at all, perfect gun, AMAZING response and overall just perfect.
im prob going to aim for 410 with .25s i have a fully stock crb and was wondering what all id have to upgrade i use a 9.6 NimH battery please help thanks!
Chris Pfeiffer full cylinder will decrease fps, as it will be far too overvolumed for the 300mm barrel. best course of action for that fps with that bb weight is to buy an m130. m130 with absolute perfect compression can hit 450 fairly easy on a .20.
i have this in my crb Wolverine Airsoft SMP HPA Airsoft Unit for Ver. 2 Gearboxes The Wolverine Single Moving Part (SMP) is a drop-in HPA cylinder replacement unit that combines the intrinsically powerful performance of an HPA system with a smart, simple design that provides unsurpassed convenience and versatility. The Krytac pro shop as well as employees of Kriss/Krytac have said they are neodymium. While I want to believe you I don't think they would blatantly lie. How can you tell that they are ferrus and not neo? Not saying you are wrong but I am just very skeptical. Great video though BTW my crb and my 2 friends gun's feeds full auto
They are NEO magnets, but, I believe they are not the strongest NEO magnets. So, perhaps the motor is not quiet as good as either the SHS High Torque or ZCI Balanced type motors which have strong NEO magnets?
TheAirsoftTech can this type of hop up be flat hopped? If it can, is the procedure the same as described in your flat hop tutorial? Would it be worth flat hopping? Thanks in advance and nice vids btw. They're very helpful and informative. They're especially helpful to people that don't know anything about airsoft tech such as myself but I'm starting to get a good grasp on it now. SUBBED
Completely detailed video, congratulations ... I have a question, what is the original spring of this gearbox? (M90, M100, M110 ...) Does this kit of both motor and gearbox support spring 130 in a good way? Any recommended upgrades for this gearbox? Thanks in advance for your attention! One more subscriber!!!
andrew fish Sorry something is wrong with my comments as they keep deleting. The magnets are definitely strong, but doesn't LOOK neodymium. All my other neo magnets have silver magnets, while krytac isnt. The krytac motor magnets is noticeably not as strong as neo magnets. They are pretty strong for a ferrous magnet though.
So I have an spr and I want to drop in a DSG in there. Do you think that I will have to buy a new bevel and spur gear or can I run the dsg off of the ones in the krytac?
DSG sectors are compatible with standard ratio gears, so it should be compatible with the stock spur and bevel. The stock spur and bevel should hold up unless you run a completely bonkers setup.
So, they're not quite as extraordinary as people say. I'm not saying it has bad internals, those are definitely good internals, but at the same time I don't really see anything extraordinary. The most interesting feature is the in-gearbox 3034 mosfet.
id just like to say that by the look of it that gearbox is hex chromium plated and not Rohs compliant , illegal for sale in any country where Rohs applies
The bb doesn't leave the barrel centered in the barrel, they tend (and should) be rolling along the top of the barrel. Many barrels have shitty finish toward the muzzle, especially those that aren't hammer forged (ie: 99 to 100% of the OOTB airsoft guns). It's not difficult to solve, there are many DIY and kits to re-do the crown of an airsoft gun and the brass ones are particularly easy to work on.
That is incorrect. The motor IS a Neodymium. Material is a Bonded NdFeB which doesn't require Chrome coated process. Please look it up.
After further research I have found that you're correct. They are neo magnets just different then what I'm use to dealing with.
Thanks!
Expect a video to be made by me correcting my error.
Thats kinda makes scene because some people run m140springs on some krytacs which you would not he able to do on any other cheap gun s lol
9:20 I believe I can put into words what you're trying to convey: "I'd fuck these gears".
I dunno about the gears, but, that bucking has got some serious camel toe goin on!
I've been shooting .32s through my krytac with a stock hopup and stock bucking. No problems at all. I have the mk2
Which gearbox is more reliable. The vfc avalon series or the krytac mk2s
What you were saying about lipo ready surprised me as I went to a KRISS USA form to see if I could run a 11.1v in mine and I was told that that’s what they use to test their guns

Could you do a review on the ARES amoeba internals? I would love to see your opinion on it.
Mine is perfect in full auto. Mind you I have the mk2

Did the sector delayer chip fix the round skipping? Thats the only thing keeping me from buying the krytac...
It did.
TheAirsoftTech which delayer chip did you install?

Alex Perez lonex
@Dylkh Maybe, but, I'd be happy with that cylinder head as is, with the sorbo pad pre-installed on it like that.
the bearings are Japanese steel an you can get replacements for $35 on evoke (more than modify ceramics($30))
Hey dud. What are engine TPAs? If the number is high, would the engine be better? Thanks👍🏻

I have Lvoa S, what is max spring power for it? Want update only spring first.
TheAirsoftTech how did you fix the feeding problem or round skipping on full auto? Mine still does it.
Is the krytac SBR good? Not SPR, SBR. The $275 Ish one
i believe the gold color is actually because of a nitrite coating. Extremely impressive. Dont quote me though.
ive heard the word "mosfet" so much recently and im curious.
im extremely new to airsofting and am saving up for a gun at the moment, but i was wandering, what are the benefits of a mosfet unit?
mosfet is used to avoid electrical arc on trigger contacts with lipo batteries
if u run a lipo battery without mosfet u finally get trigger contacts burned cause of electrical arc caused for the battery amperage (cause lipo batteries have more amp discarge than a normal battery)
that burn on contacts will create a layer of carbon who can make your contact stop working and need to replace it or at least clean it or scratch it with a rasp, but can make your replica stop firing cause that carbon layer doesnt have electrical conductivity
u can use a no lipo battery, but that type of batteries have the better performance in airsoft replicas
also u can change your battery and replica tamiya conectors for t dean ones for less ohm resistance and even better performance and durability of charge
Compared to the krytac, the ics transform-4 is a good one?
How would you compare this to the Avalon ?
will a aftermarket v2 gearbox fit in a krytac

hey just so you know when you said the gun doesnt feed right on full auto, im honestly not sure what shitty mag u used because mine worked no problemo on full auto with a 11.1 lipo
Wesam kachouri the stock mag is shitty, i have the SPR and is broke :(
I dont get it why not full metal piston teeth? wont the plastic teeth it wear over time?
Pvckle all the pressure is on the first teeth. So only thos are needed to be metal
All the pressure is on the last tooth*

Nujabes - Aruarian Dance
So judging form the video you would choose bushings over bearings?
Outdoor Addiction Pretty much everyone does. Bearings spins better but can breake more often.
So there's that then next thing is can all the stick krytac internals handle putting in a lonex a1 at 45k?Please let me know your amazing insight on this and sorry for long in depth comment
barrel length won't effect fps unless your volume between cylinder and barrel isn't balanced
Great review, man.
How did the Sector Gear Delayer Chip work out?
I had the same issue with the feeding issues. I got some decent G&P mags and now they feed perfectly. :)
Is there an high-speed motor upgrade you can recommend, or would you say that the one it comes with is just fine?
I've been looking at the A1 for a while lately. Thanks for the advice! :)
I'm trying to upgrade my krytac lvoa how should I up grade the gear box?
With my lvoa-c I put in the following:
Prometheus rhop barrel from Umbrella.
Lonex a1 titan motor.
Gate titan advanced edition.
M125 spring.
With .36 bbs I am accurate to 250ft and am sitting at 1.45 joules. With .28s I am at 1.55 joules and it's due to having to apply less hop.
The motor does have neodymium magnets but they have a different manufacturing process then other magnets thus making them black.
Nice review man. This is the best one on krytac I've seen so far!
Im going for trident mk2 whit short and long upper
What spring would u recommend to get your fps up to 350. I am personally going with an m100 but I am worried that it might be to low.
m110 - around 360 fps
hi , is this gearbox 11.1 lipo ready???
Yes, but Krytac has a silly 15C discharge limit in the warranty.
Could i run an m170 on this with an upgraded motor, i would be using semi only.
Milsims that allow higher FPS
@@ReTr093 lol what? M170 would be used in a dmr platform. Which is clearly what he was talking about. "Semi only" so stfu
well.. kwa gets beat cause only the mosfet? other than that kwa doesnt need shims, brass 6.03 and the thickest gearbox on the market
KWA gets beat because it has a lot wrong with it. Lol
im not haters. just dont judge me that way.. im friendly.
Drama Hunter thanks mate.. seems krytac is the best
Brian Sebastian Np. Again that was just my experience. I have heard good experiences with the kr9 but personally didnt have a good one.
Can anyone tell me if the piston has a ball bearing inside to keep spring from binding?
Bearing is on the spring pin... The bit that holds the spring in at back of gearbox... Piston head dosnt have bearing
Deose anyone know how heavy the gun is?
im prob going to aim for 410 with .25s i have a fully stock crb and was wondering what all id have to upgrade i use a 9.6 NimH battery please help thanks!
cody mashburn Full cylinder and maybe a m120 spring probably.
Chris Pfeiffer full cylinder will decrease fps, as it will be far too overvolumed for the 300mm barrel. best course of action for that fps with that bb weight is to buy an m130. m130 with absolute perfect compression can hit 450 fairly easy on a .20.
Alex Fong oh shoot ): didn't realize the shorter barrel size!
The background song is nujabes arunian dance
+Sir Lancelot Finally some really good background music, and it's so low it doesn't distract from the content.

You are not the only one with problems with full auto feeding. mine does the same thing. its almost like you have to burst fire it.
The Krytac pro shop as well as employees of Kriss/Krytac have said they are neodymium. While I want to believe you I don't think they would blatantly lie. How can you tell that they are ferrus and not neo? Not saying you are wrong but I am just very skeptical. Great video though
BTW my crb and my 2 friends gun's feeds full auto
(M90, M100, M110 ...)
Does this kit of both motor and gearbox support spring 130 in a good way?
Any recommended upgrades for this gearbox?
Thanks in advance for your attention! One more subscriber!!!
Did you ever add a m130?
So, is this THE BEST stock gun i can buy
The True Patriot I heard the VFC Avalons and the newer Classic Army Nemesis series are better
background music on point samurai shampoo
you should do a review on the 2014+ Colt Classic Army M4 Carbine
How did you become so knowledgeable in the theory and functions of airsoft internals?
bro, if you understand basic dc motor function you can do anything...... Start looking into the basics of electrical theory and go from there.
Do a review on the A & K S-System
Krytac's website says the motor is neodynium
Well krytac is lying then lol
andrew fish Sorry something is wrong with my comments as they keep deleting. The magnets are definitely strong, but doesn't LOOK neodymium. All my other neo magnets have silver magnets, while krytac isnt. The krytac motor magnets is noticeably not as strong as neo magnets. They are pretty strong for a ferrous magnet though.
andrew fish My bad i just got to the part where he was talking about Krytac's motor and i realized I pretty much restated what he said haha
slayerlenny I've explained it here. krytac.forumchitchat.com/post/about-neodymium-magnet-motor-7302462?pid=1286241651#post1286241651
My CRB pulls my M130 spring just fine, with a flat hop and .38 it hits 275ft pretty easily.
BIG_K did it cause any issues after using it for a while?
BIG_K any issues to the bearings?
Cool.. Hey that's cool... It's really cool... It's kinda cool.. A really cool touch... It's a cool color... That's cool... That's really really cool!... It's just really cool... Really cool plus... Pretty cool stuff... But it's cool... It's pretty cool... It's really cool...
Ok, now I'll finish watching the last half of the video
Cool
Would this gun be able to handle an m130 spring and an 11.1 lipo with no problem?
Or an m140
id just like to say that by the look of it that gearbox is hex chromium plated and not Rohs compliant , illegal for sale in any country where Rohs applies
aim has a gold aluminum gearbox
Awesome video my man.. Thank you very much!! Very well done..
The gear box shell is coated with an anodized layer to prevent rusting of the shell prolonging longevity
When you add the delay sector switch and if it works let us youtube viewers know with a video.
Good review love this Gun
The crown wouldn't really do anything in airsoft from what I know of physics...
Hey, I Perches a Krytac War Sport Licensed LVOA-C I would like to upgrade to the max performance. If you can please get back at me thanks
Bruh, that nujabes vibes in the background :3
good music
