Every episode for me has been 10/10. This show is ridiculously good. I’d rather they take their time in making new seasons than sacrifice the quality.

For real.. having Marks powers and this happens to me.. I wouldn’t even go through that mental breakdown like Mark did.. in my eyes the “killing” was completely justified!

Honestly all the scenes with Levy throwing around and threatening Debbie and Oliver especially when Oliver was crying was like mildly disturbing 😂

I love how mark tried to naruto reason with him at first but, Angstorm was just waayy too far gone He's such a tragic character.

@@joeyferlano9426 lol have you watched them? Peter plays a huge role in Miles becoming a Spider Man. Not saying that the character has to be a Peter but Agent Spider has no connections to Peter so by default he wouldn’t be considered part of the Spider Society.
This was a great finale. I was really thrown off that Kate survived. Makes sense though. As for Nolan saying he misses his wife. Yeah good luck patching that up, especially after you called her a pet.

Its literally only reason why i havent read ahead in the comics. I love the animation too much, id rather find out things in the show rather than from reading the comic ahead of time.

No, it was spectacular
The way that Angstrom Levy was portrayed as so crazy and the amount of times he threw Mark into alternate realities, made it really satisfying watching Mark just lose it on him.
This finale feels like average episode during season.
It was a good episode but the previous eps kinda eh in terms of action so Im beginning to think they weren’t holding the show back to finish it up but holding it back so people will keep their prime subscriptions while amazon does the scumming tactic of making us pay more money for add free rather than have the ad version free and pay for the ad-free version. Primes luckily I still need to watch the nba season or I would of cancelled this sh’t today.

The season finale would have been way better if battle beast (which I found out now) would be revealed to be there in the same prison looking like a badass

Adam Eve calls him "rex", it's Rex inside a Robot suit.

Hopefully season three will have more episodes. I know it takes a long time to make these series, but please let’s have at least 10 episodes
Angstrom is also a great parallel to Dr Octopus. Two characters that are their own worst enemy and blame everybody else for what happened to them.

Also Batman's reason for NOT killing is pretty much the exact same reason why Mark doesn't kill. Another parallel character they show off kind of.
I’m going to assume the following events that will happen in Season 3; Oliver’s character development especially with his powers manifesting, Mark and Eve’s relationship building up, the epic battle with Conquest, the Invincible War, Nolan and Allen breaking out of jail, and Nolan’s redemption arc.
My ptediction is that we will have the imvincible war somewhere after or in the middle of the season, while the final fight will be Conquest. The finale will be Omni Man rectuting Mark and Oliver for the viltrum war
When they showed Agent Spider I had a huge smile on my face after my jaw dropped. Such a cool scene and interaction.

Man, Sterling K. Brown is a GREAT voice actor! I was impressed to death with Zazie Beetz, my girlfriend, a week or 2 ago, in the breakup scene. Sterling K. Brown took over this week. He's GOOD! WOW!
Future Eve actually says "shut up rex" and when "robot" takes his helmet off the credits change to rexplode? I think it's a teaser for robot dominating earth to make it a better place in the future like in the comics

Notice how Invincibles main theme kicks in when he goes berserk on Angstrom but quickly shifts into a darker version as he fully lets his anger out

I love how Angstrom decided to torture the 1 good Invincible from all the multiverses he has visited. Instead of just going after all the Invincibles who hurt him.

When Angstrom shorts out Mark's earpiece he recoils in pain, it's a nice little hint at one of the viltrumite weaknesses
As a comic book reader, this finale did satisfy all of my wishes.
And I cried after hearing that final line, even went back to the specific issue(s) and... as I expected... that line wasn't in the comics.

SERIOUSLY. DO NOT READ IT IF YOU WANT TO STAY CLEAR OF SPOILERS:
The series really improves on Nolan's character arc and I'm all here for it. It really adds to his future reunion with Debbie and his family and the series will likely show us a much more vulnerable side of him once he makes his apology.
It will only make me cry harder in S3 or S4 once that scene takes place, but my guess is that it will happen in S4.

I was pretty upset that we had to wait approximately 2 years for season 2. We should have gotten that season in 2022, that way Season 3 would happen last year. I don’t understand why this approximate 2 year hiatus happened in the first place.

Yeah, and then last episode at the comic expo they tried to blame it on the animation. I know plenty of shows that have the same if not better animation that dont take 2 years to release 8 episodes. They already have their source material due to the comics to. Very confusing
They made s 1, I think before Covid or a large part of it. You have the pandemic THAN the strikes so it can be justified
two things I noticed is, one version of Angstrom Levy being Morgan Jones, and did G. Kregg help Nolan by beating him up to postpone his execution
Nah he said viltramites need to be in healthy condition for their execution but no one said anything about bruises

With her back, it seems to take away from the gravitas of that horrific episode 1 fight scene since none of the heroes died

@noBody-ue6cs exactly. Personally I think shrinking Rae should have died because it would keep up stakes in that fight without killing Kate or rex, because Kate having an extra to keep safe makes too much sense.

I didn’t feel like they tied the villain into the story well at all. He did nothing the second half of the season, then arrives out of nowhere because its the mandatory season-end battle. Way too much time focusing on Mark’s relationship with Amber just for them to (finally) breakup. Also Monster Girl just randomly changes her mind about wanting a solution to her aging problem despite yelling at Rudy and cutting him off every time he tried to talk about a solution. What the hell happened to this season. Parts were good, but overall it was not the same as season 1
WAY WAY to much time dragging out Amber maybe it was easy to animate 😝
God this episode hit different, between the Batman and Spider-Man reference, Mark making Levy's head explode, the ending teasing Allen and Nolan's escape......we eating really good this season!!
Season 2 didn't have a sense of direction of where the story wanted to go. They introduced Sterling K. Brown character just for him to have a senseless death at the end of the season. I thought he could've been used better. After the first half of the season, I was expecting more but there was a lot of pointless dialogue between characters that made the entire story feel kinda slow. After 8 episodes expanding 40 mins each, they should've done more to push the story forward. This didnt feel like a 8 episode season.
Angstroms story is not over. So your wish is granted.

I actually thought the dinosaurs earth that Mark visited ( fell into to) reminded me of Rick and Morty’s talking smart dinosaurs
All in all season 2 was good but I liked season 1 better. I think they just have a lot of characters and can’t really cover them all.
I’m pretty sure Debbie being on board with the parallel Marks being evil is new. I’m pretty sure that it’s his mom’s influence that’s what’s keeping our Mark anchored.
Also Oliver not existing in other universe either because Omniman never needed to go to Thraxa or he went to somewhere else like the Mortal Kombat universe.
Oh and we saw sinister Mark which is wild I wish we could’ve seen Mohawk mark too.

Season 2 is more of a set-up part of the story as mtiple plot points have been put in motion this season and all of them have big pay off. Honestly I do like season2 more so far. Mark was more of a happy go like character in seaon 2 while here you have him going through it.
So glad to see them taking their time with Mark and Eve’s relationship, can’t wait for season 3!!!! 🤟🏽

I love the fact that Debbie, Nolan and Mark have a bruised eye, although it doesn't make sense for Nolan and Mark to have one for so long in the first place, the little detail is better in this situation, even if it doesn't make sense

I think when the guardian went in the future they also teased the robot storey line as I think it was actually Rex in the suit. Eve calls him Rex
They may go in a different direction, but in the comics, Rudy changes his name to Rex after Rex is heroically killed. If you look at the age difference between him and Eve, it would make sense if that were Rudy with a name change.
Man I hope this next season invincible start really kicking people butts. BECAUSE IM TIRED OF HIM GETTING BEAT UP DAMN NEAR EVERY TIME HE FIGHT SOMEONE LIKE DAMN WHY IS HE CALLED INVINCIBLE IF HE SO FUCKING SOFT
There is a turning point in the comics, where he turns about 21 Viltrum-equavalent, where he starts dominating. No spoilers, but by the end of the series there is no one he can't beat.
I just hope they don’t split season 3 into two parts and just release it weekly.
Given the first two seasons cover the first compendium and there's three compendiums for the main series I'm assuming this will be around six seasons.

A fantastic finale for season two they did a great job now we wait for season 3
Great finaly and liked how this episode especialy Mark's realy enemy is himself aside from Angstrum that he fights inner fight with himself not become like his dad or other Viltrumite's which is also foreshadowing what he will have to face in future aka the invincible war alternative versions of him self. The other thing is that Omni-mans (Nolans) redemption begins.
I shocked as hell that mark beating the hell out of angstrom! That was powerful!

I think if they were always planning to say Dupli-Kate was still alive, they should have killed Shrinking Rae. If no one dies, then there are no stakes!
Having her permanently retire rather than get her outright killed would have been a preferrable way to send her off.

It would be really interesting 🧐 to see angstrom Levi son going up against his father who went crazy because technically speaking we never did see him in the comics at least in my opinion because it’s been awhile since I read the invincible comics.
A funny detail I’ve noticed in this video is that Mark, his mom and dad all have a black eye on their right eye. Guess as a sign they all are connected still as a family (besides Oliver he got lucky)
The weird thing about the art in the comics is that anyone who got a black eye got it on that eye. It was called out by fans a few times so maybe they are parodying that.

Yes, they are slightly different, and also a solid example of extended story telling and good characterization.
