My understanding of the philosophy behind the practice is that in essence our beliefs shape our own reality, as we perceive it. These beliefs are often inherited from our parents and society initially without too much conscious thought. We go about our lives feeling and thinking based on these often unconscious beliefs, much of the time living less than preferred results of these belief systems, especially if they are negative. The purpose of this meditation is first of all to evoke the feeling of a DESIRE to learn more about yourself, bringing more of the unconscious to the surface. Then, you ask for some DEFINITION around which of your beliefs are limiting you from living the life you prefer. Who do you ask? Yourself, your inner knowing, or higher self whichever term you prefer. After listening for any insights, you then show your DEDICATION to this endeavour of self inquiry by asking for more details, or insights/feelings into which belief you have about yourself, that is limiting your expansion or growth. Lastly you then ask yourself to DETACH from any belief that is no longer serving you, so that you may consciously replace it with a belief that represents the reality you prefer. This in conjunction with the visual perception of the 2D spiral in 3D space, as a cube, affords you a window into your multidimensional self, so that you may actively choose for yourself the beliefs, and by definition, the reality you prefer to live. The very act of identifying old beliefs that no longer represent the best version of yourself, can allow you to see how illogical it is for you to be acting on them still, thus breaking their influence. Very Interesting but I dont understand the meaning of the words exactly. Is it like detachment comes first, it helps you to lose what does not serve you, and then because you are unblocked, it brings you inspiration easier for your heart's dreams and ideas for what is the best possible timeline and opportunities for you? I read the description box but can you explain a bit more what this is doing for you?

Hi, yes you did. The animation is mostly designed to help you learn the routine. Pausing for each of the 4 cycles is a good idea. Spend as much time as you like then un-pause to continue. For regular practice you can use this video and pause, or I've also made version linked which has a longer cycle. Practice version: ruclips.net/video/3aAbRSnqvw4/видео.htmlsi=8aRBDfGxlxKLBn0T The other way is simply say the DDDD affirmation then use a still image of the circles and spiral and practice moving into the centre whilst holding the sense of depth you perceive with the cube. Do the four cycles in your own time. I often find myself writing down insights or whatever comes up mid meditation, so pausing at any time is no issue. I hope this helps

I haven't embedded any additional geometric shapes in either parts of the exercise but I am not surprised that something is revealing itself to you. I have had some very interesting closed eye visuals after practicing as well. For me it was the structure of a pyramid. I plan on expanding on this meditation series of exercise as it keeps appearing in my life and I feel called to bring it to life. I wonder what the symbology your are experiencing could mean for you. I would love to see a drawing of it if you were so inclined to show us :)

Dearest Joe Thank you. I would like to make a suggestion, as you say you will be making a video for daily practice without "cliff notes" . The notes are very helpful, even for dailly use. The only suggestion is that they appear before instead of with the diagram during each "cycle". I think you understand what I mean. I wouldn't leave out any of the instructions you added, but in this video they appear during the "blue line cycle" and that is distracting as one doesnt know wether to look at the diagram or read notes and so it doent allow for the needed concentration. If the notes appear before, on their own, reminding us exactly what we must concentrate on in the next step so that once we have read them all, we can advance and the diagram appears alone, one will be able to truly follow the line, pause, as you say, as long as wished, concentrate and then exit when wished. Again getting the next set of reminders...and continuing until the cycle has been done 4x. That would be perfect. No need for a new video, just a slight adjustment to this one. A seperation of instructions from diagram. In my opinion. Extremely grateful anyhow. 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
Thank you for taking the time to consider the flow and functionality of the exercise and offer a useful suggestion to improve the usability. It's a valuable insight. I think I imagined this video being used to learn the meditation primarily, and then having a second daily practice video in which many of the notes would no longer be necessary, allowing for more consideration for the natural timing of the exercise to evolve. Many cues will remain in the daily practice version for you to evoke the feelings you've considered and learnt from this guided version, but with less distractions - which goes to your point. I agree the text can be distracting, and you are spot on with the timing needing slight adjusting in this version, which I will do. This guided version was always going to be a slight compromise in the natural timing due to learning nature of it. In the daily practice version I also envision the line going into the spiral each time to be slower, giving time to really feel the change of direction for each line of the spiral - down, across, back, etc. Thanks again for your input and feel free to make any other suggestions as I will consider all offerings. Also, did you have a go at the challenge at the end? I would love to see what you came up with. I'm going to do something with my shape....stay tuned for more :)
