I can’t play the open to “Dream On” because of my small hands! I compensate with an alternative opening! I always remind myself Elton John has tiny hands and can reach an octave so he “jumps” the octave when needed! You did great!

Thank You so much Jen for teaching me this song I love it. just a suggestion for you or anyone else learning this song, when your holding the C#minor, instead of bringing down you middle finger for the C#, let go with your pinky and bring down your ring finger to hold the C# note. hope it helps you with the C#minor. Thanks again Jen!
The Barre Chord is: Bar the fourth fret (index finger) *you don't really have to bar the fret since you are plucking just the A string* , Middle finger on the 5th Fret of B-string, Third finger (ring finger) on the 6th Fret of D-string and small finger on the 6th Fret of G-string

bass E string 4th fret (4th "pinky" finger)
D string 2nd fret (middle finger)
G string 1st fret (1st "index" finger)
B string 2nd fret (3rd "ring" finger)
That is according to how she is holding it, it's a difficult one to master.

That's the hardest c# minor shape ever invented, try barring strings 3/4 at fret 6, 7th fret on string 5 and 9th fret on string 6, same notes just a much more playable shape, picking pattern is the same just move it up a string
You R right On It. He Plays The A up on the neck and I Couldn't Catch what he was doing because I was tuned wrong. AWESOME JOB>
VERY COOL..This is ON IT..He Must Have His Guitar Tuned Differently, Because in their acoustic video that I was Trying to pick up the chords from he was Playing differntly than this, but this Sounds GREAT. THANK YOU.

i was wondering if you could do a tutorial for a green day song "oh love." i would really appreciate it. you are the only person on youtube that i could find to play this song perfectly since you pretty much nailed "my immortal."
The first video of this channel I watched and I really like the lesson format. Quickly just say what the chords are, how to strumm or pick them, and no too much talk over small things.

cool i started of guitar one year ago in a school 1 hour a week i always wanted to play this. Thanks to you i can my mothers sister liked that song en their was a time talking about dead en she sad when my funiral is there i want that song maby i play it now instead. cool ik startte 1 jaar terug met gitaar spelen in een school 1 uurtje per week en ik wilde altijd dit liedje spelen,mijn tante is gek op dit liedje en er werd eens gepraat over overlijden en ze wilde dat liedje als het zover was op begrafenis ik zou het mss nu kunnen spelen.
