but do bands proc off the almighty poglyps? didnt think so mr streamer
Bands are shit because it don’t proc off of chronobauble
"shenanigan's" lol
you seen the bugged cave texture in the lower cave of sirens call? only shows up on one side
Hey Mr. Streamer, Does the bands cooldown share between engineer turrets or can engineer and his turrets proc them all independently? I cant quite figure it out.
I think they can proc them individually, you can see the bands on the turrets light up and go dark independently from the engineer's
Mr. Streamer: I auto-attack the Golem with Acrid dealing 400% to proc the bands.
Also Mr. Streamer: Acrid's leap and only the leap can proc the bands.
reeee
Woolie stoopid strimmer
Sorry, what? Is there some version of the game where acrid is a melee character with auto-attacks? 🤔
Yea that part threw me off. I mostly play Acird. I feel like i proc it more then leap..
How did he even manage to make a mistake this stupid??????????
step 1: be loader
step 2: acquire 1 ice band
step 3: laugh as every boss cowers in fear
step 4: find an ice band printer in sky meadow
step 5: sacrifice all your green items to the printer gods
step 6: leave the bosses no time to even cower in fear to begin with
when you refuse to ever finish the achievement for poglyps and have an empty hole in your item logs.
6:50 But Mr. Streamer what if we knew what the bands did but just wanted to watch your content?
Play risk of rain 2, see corpsebloom, day ruined
My day be so fine
then BOOM Heal +100% (+100% per stack) more. All healing is applied over time. Can heal for a maximum of 10% (reduced by 50% per stack) of your health per second.
@@sezzy334 I WAS ABOUT TO MAKE THE SAME JOKE WTF
I finally understand how the new bleed actually works but maybe a video on that topic (comparing it to the old bleed) could also be done?
I'm sure that there are other people who, like me, didn't quite understand what "stacking bleed on an enemy" does.
Also this video was INCREDIBLY useful, I didn't think damage fall-off would be an issue too.
I thought he explain it in his latest item tierlist
Loader, purity, alien head, perma uptime blast shower.
The most pog
Yeahyeahyeah
Through the power of command I’ve seen what the run looks like... I pity her foes
need a clover or two for that purity m8
@@obscure.reference nah, you don't need proc chains with this, clover is useless here
@@obscure.reference Why would you need proc chaining when her bullet train mode refreshes in a half second?
4 seconds since posting and its already in my recommended. nice job mr streamer
Me, a console player watching this 1.0 videos from Woolie: "You do not know how much power you have in your hands, boy."

the bands honestly deserve legendary status, they're that strong. There is no way that they are uncommon
chronobauble was a meme but polyp actually sucks
poglypchamp
Actually it's the best item in the game you're just flat out wrong
personally i like to have at least one so i can see the comically large left hand list
the only reason it exists is so that you actually have something you can scrap when you find a scrapper
Atleast chronobauble procs deaths mark and makes Mithrix a slightly easier fight, Polyp is not laughably bad it’s just bad
Blast Shower + 10-15 Fuel cells + 1 Gesture of the Drowned
Or you can get one soulbound catalyst + few cells instead of 10+.
@@nand91 Fuel cells printers are more common could visit the shop everystage though🤔
+ 20 Ukulele and proc it on each target ez mapclear
3x Ceremonial daggers can also proc the bands (deals %150 stack with each stack, 3rd stack makes each dagger deal %450 damage), and you should try it with blast shower spam, so almost every single dagger procs the bands
two little diciples works too(600%)
I'm sure this is known at this point, but Huntress' Primary Skill, Flurry, can occasionally trigger the Bands:
1. First, the attack needs to be a critical (irrelevant to crit dmg).
2. Sometimes the Flurry's projectiles all hit at the same time.
How does this work - Flurry usually fires 3 projectiles, each projectile being 100% dmg, but when you crit you fire off 6 projectiles instead, totalling 600%. When the projectiles (occasionally) hit at the same time it procs the Bands.
I was a little iffy on the bands at first but after some time this has been a huge positive change for overall design. For me, Band+Purity builds fix the issue of your character not mattering once you get the right items - bands can be quite competitive with the usual proc chain nonsense, but they only go off if you DO something. Playing Loader now is more fun than anything I'd done in this game before. The best part is? The build is distinctly reliable, you WILL get bands and you are very likely to get Purity since it's a lunar item.
Actually really helpful video-- activation of bands seemed mysterious to me and this cleared it up!
Royal Capacitor is IMO the best band proc in the game. Slap on a couple fuel cells or gestures and you can turn any survivor into a band-proc'ing beast. Bands are the new best meta without a doubt, although bleed with certain survivors (well, just Captain really) is close behind.
"I'm stinky"
Surely a shower is clean tho?
I’m so early you can still get bands on aqueducts by glitching through the door.
We see you mr streamer
This remembers me of the Headstompers clip
Yikes dude, you might wanna update your build. You are missing out on the new Bands if that's what cha doin.
Jorgensen Stranglesen but. But. But. Free bands 😭
Jeremy Niemeyer you can get your free bands the legitimate way, dude.
didnt think that the bands had such intricate mechanic, thx for the info.
@woolie, you can also proc the bands on acrid by landing his third massive melee hit
Yeah he mentioned that earlier but then forgot to mention it later when he listed each characters' ways to proc.
I went for my first Loader-Blast Shower run a few days ago. When I got perma-uptime on them, and a bunch of kill/proc chains from Daggers, Will-Os, ATGs, etc, I ended up just standing still on top of the teleporter, seeing pretty much every mob die instantly as they spawn, leaving a flame tornado behind on what felt like EVERY hit. Just had to punch one mob per stage, pretty much.
Probably one of the most OP builds imo, along with perma-uptime 3xForgive Me Please and a bunch of Daggers/Will-Os.
6:53 Jokes on you Mr. Streamer I didn't click on it because of that, I already knew about all of this and only clicked on it to hear your beautiful voice he he he
I unironically go Gesture of the Drowned and Fuel Cells with Blast Shower now to keep them off cool-down. They're so good on Loader or with H3AD 5T v2 considering they do %TOTAL damage.
Had a discussion about this in the RoR discord. The reason glass doesn’t help is that glass increases your base damage, meaning the bands have a higher threshold to reach! Captain’s base damage is 12, so bands need 48 damage to activate. Get a glass, and now they need 96 - 4x your new base damage of 24. This means that glass has DEVASTATING anti-synergy with N’kuhana’s :(
As you said, things need a proc coefficient too. So any part of a proc chain except the end can make your bands go off! If you get blast shower going fast enough, EVERY hit of your ukulele can trigger a new band, which is a real spectacle to watch
TL;DR: any attack whose unmodified value reaches or exceeds 400% of your survivor’s base damage and who has a proc coefficient can activate the bands if they are charged.
thanks mr strimmer
Thank you Mr.Streamer.
While i am too doodoo brain to understand procs, I have learned:
-Sometimes band procs.
-When band procs: wowiegee! Lotta damage!
you are always my go to for ror2 info and i dont see anyone taking your spot. keep up the content you beautiful man we appreciate you.
Just wanted to summarize this excellent video, as well as leave a complete list of ways to proc the Bands. Let me know if I missed anything!
Bands only proc of off hits that do more than 400% of your base damage, and this is calculated before any effects such as Crit, Crowbars, and other damage increasing items take effect, meaning that those items don't help you proc Bands.
Abilities that can proc Bands (this includes a few that were not mentioned in the video):
Frag Grenade (Commando alt special)
Laser Glaive (Huntress secondary)
Ballista (Huntress alt special)
Rebar Puncher (MUL-T alt primary)
Pressure/Spider Mines (Engi default/alt secondary)
Charged Nano-Bomb (both the explosion and the tendrils) (Artificer default secondary)
Cast Nano-Spear (Artificer alt secondary)
Ion Surge (Artificer alt special)
Rising Thunder (Merc alt secondary)
Expose + any ability (Applied by last hit hit of primary and alt special)
Seed Barrage (REX default secondary)
Bramble Volley (REX alt utility)
Charged/Thunder Gauntlet (Loader default/alt utility)
Vicious Wounds third hit (Acrid primary)
Frenzied leap (Acrid alt utility)
Orbital Probe (Captain utility)
Equipment that can proc Bands: (Blast Shower cannot proc Bands, but is very useful for a Bands-focused build):
Preon Accumulator (both the explosion and tendrils)
Royal Capacitor
Volcanic Egg
Sawmerang
Glowing Meteorite
Items that can proc Bands/help proc Bands:
ATG missile (proc must deal at least 133.3% base damage)
Will-o'-the-wisp (needs at least 2 stacks)
Ukulele (proc must deal at least 500% base damage, which kind of defeats the purpose)
N'kuhana's Opinion (this item deals damage based on max health and healing, it will not work with every build)
Sentient Meat Hook (proc must deal at least 400% base damage, which kind of defeats the purpose)
Resonance Disk
Little Disciple (needs at least 2 stacks)
Genesis Loop
Molten Perforater (proc must deal at least 133.3% base damage)
Shatterspleen (The explosion, not the bleeds)
Another great vid man keep up the great content
The main thing this showed me was what the strange circle above the health bar means. Also good to see that the shower at least has some use.
Molten Perforator also can proc it, when more than 1 ball hits 1 enemy it procs bands.
i think hopoo should more if this kind of item that has a guarantee proc on a certain condition. survivors with crazy damage potential but terrible at procing on hit will have more option, and a little more variety in the loot pool is always nice
Yo blast shower allows you to completely bypass the cooldown of the bands allowing them to be extremely powerful. soulbound catalyst and a bunch of fuel cells with gesture makes that shit go crazy
someone didn't watch the whole video WeirdChamp
double rebar multi will proc band on every hit, with perma uptime blast shower its unbeatable
side note. the purple shield icon you get in the void from a cell zone is actually considered a debuff.
Artificer can proc with her alternate R and sometimes with her ice wall I was procing it
hey man whether you see this or not doesn't matter to me as long as i get to say this:
i've gone through one of the hardest and most emotional days of my life where ive been helping and trying to support a friend through probably their lowest low and laying in bed and looking at a bit of youtube to relax ive never felt more happy to see a new video from you. your informative videos on the game we equally love is always fun to listen to and digest. keep doing what youre doing and dont change anytime soon
I've actually been constantly running Blast Shower for god runs with the new bands. This new update makes Blast Shower actually useful!
Every single time that poglip kills an enemy first loop I go "huh maybe they were wrong"
Spoiler they weren't wrong..
But can they proc the squid turret? No, didn't think so. Squid still SS tier
In a game where information is huge... not having information or having incorrect is brutal.
They could've said "Gobbadihdsdshohsahaohsda" and it would be just as useful as what was said in the text.
Doesn't help that with bands, perma-status immunity is a big thing now... which I'm not sure if that is intentional or not.
I do hope they address this somehow as effectively speaking certain base loadouts are nerfed due to this.
Did a double rebar + blast showers run with mul-t and i was one hitting everything and getting bands procs on every shot
Love the Leeroy Jenkins reference
Acrid has the alternate leap AND the third hit of his primary fire (which you even mentioned earlier in the video Mr. Streamer)
This will be very helpful thank you!
2:50 ALRIGHT LETS DO THIS LEEEROOOOYYYY
They should really buff phase round so it can trigger the bands for mando so it's a viable alternative to blast
I would love for you to redo the command artifact video or do a sacrifice command guide. Great content as always.
The bands being counted as a debuff also makes you vulnerable to DEATH MARK.
Here is a small idea, you should make an updated command artifact build, with added items, additional items for each survivor, items to remove on a certain survivor, and add rarities such as lunar and boss items
Blast shower + soul bound catalyst + many gestures and fuel cells = I am VERY wet in combat and marginally less wet out of combat
Remember, damage numbers and damage % are two completely different entities.
Ignoring Blast Shower shenanigans, I’m still pro old bands. Procing them 10 times a second was more powerful than choosing what they proc on once every 10 seconds.
Man it's wild recognizing footage from watching the stream the other day.
I might be high or something but pretty much every time I play acrid I stack crowbars and bands, I set off the bands with just my primary like all the time, Even his secondary.
Me and a friend were on a 35 round monsoon run and I one shot Mithrix last stage with the bands. For some reason he got hit before he could take all my items. we recorded it lmk if interested I thought it was pretty hilarious
having only 51 health while playing with transcendence is when you start seeing flashbacks
dev 1: so what should we make this charecter's alt skin?
dev 2: make it white
that feel when have 5 or more bands playing as arti with nano bomb, its just one-shot simulator with 10 cd
NOAH!!!!GET THE BOAT!!!!LEAVE WOOLIE BEHIND!!!!ASAP
Only complaint with the video is that you didn't throw in a list at the end of all the items that can deal 400%+ and also have a proc coefficient
i clicked on the video because im a stream andy and want to support you more :)
Hey it’s mr streamer and the bands of lizard bois
thank god i was in woolies discord so i knew when the video came out OwOv * wink wink *
They have to be activated at once so like 2 hits dealing 200 won’t work but like one attack dealing 401 percent damage
133.3% (repeating of course)
Oh my LORD really brought me back
so whats up with rex secondary m2? 450% per seccond, is that wrong? or is that the total damage if the enemy stays in the shower? seems pretty goofed up
is there any other cooldowns that count as a debuff like maybe genesis loop that could be a cool build idea
5:25 : "Acrid has only the leap"...
M1: Am I a joke to you? (btw you showed m1 on the first part )
133.33 (repeating of course)
Was that a leeroy jenkins reference?
i got 2.4 billion damage on loader by stage 30 with no shaped glass by going 100 ice bands. blast shower at 4 seconds and soulbound catalyst.
Can't wait until 8 months from now when hoppo remembers their game is also on consoles and we can do this..........
But uh, is perma up time blastshower actually worth? Sounds good
Why have blast shower when you could have capacitor, is the question
I had a run yesterday with 2 little disciples, since they stack (doing 600% dmg) they proc the bands. With high run speed and perma uptime blast shower you end up with bands that can proc every second if you have high run speed (high run speed increases little disciple firerate). They have a range of 40m and a Proc Coe of 1, it was the most insane run I've ever had. Has anyone else played with this?
Can you do a video on the logbook? Maps, environments etc
can someone explain why the bands aren't trash if it always takes 10sec between activations? what am i missing? (lets ignore the blast shower)
Ive been running perma up time bands and it nutty
i love the bands in this patch
So I see how good they are but how do you find them I was spawned accidentally in the area you find them but outside of that I never truly found them
Uhm Mr. Streemer, you forgot that Acrid can proc the bands on the last strike of his default primary.
Imagine hating on the poglyp in 2020.
Soulbound catalyst, 10 fuel cells, 5 gestures, 20 ice bands, 10 fire bands on loader is the godliest of god runs.
Caps it way too much
The cdr that is
Mr. Streamer, I already knew all this but I clicked on your video because I click on all of your videos regardless of content.
Did this get changed recently?
perma uptime blast shower rebar mul-t can be fun i guess
How does spinel tonic work with the bands. Is it the same as crowbar and crit?
dont You dare mocking our lord and savior the Poglyp! :P
Ok Mr Streamer, I did not know the Band cool-down was debuff.
What else does blast shower cure?
It can actually delete projectiles that are about to hit you though this is very rare and you'll only see this happen with gesture + 10+ fuel cells. The most dangerous debuffs are being frozen or getting hit by malachite anti-heal
This is probably off topic but your mod video helped me a lot but I tried to download ryan skin API but I don’t know how to use it please help if you can!
i miss old bands
You know what also doesn't proc the bands? Chests, barrels, shrines.... You know what DOES proc from these? I rest my case.
I played the Void Reaver custom class, and its several-thousand percent R nuke doesn't proc the bands. I was wondering if a zero proc-coefficient was the issue. Looks like I was right.
That class and Enforcer are very sad, since they have a heck of a time getting the bands off (with the only ability between the two AFAIK being the Enforcer's running shield slam).
If you use Enforcer's shield bash on big hitting projectiles, like Stone Golem lasers, it'll deflect them towards the enemy you're looking at and usually procs the bands.
Woolie, I've been playing since ROR1, but I still don't know why the damage is measured by percent, could you explain what it means? (For example, does 400% damage mean my level times 4.0?)
If you go into the games logbook and look at the survivor logs, they tell you the stats of the character you had choose. One of those stats is "Damage" and how it scales per level up. The percent damage that skills display is the multiplier the skill applies on the Damage stat.
For example, Commando starts with a Damage stat of 12 and gets 2.4 more per level. If you attack an enemy with Phase Round, which deals 300% damage, at level 1 you would do 12 x 3 = 36 points of damage. At level 2 he'd have 14.4 damage making it 14.4 x 3 = 43.2 points of damage.
@@Crazykidthree33 Ah. That makes sense.
You should try playing some Hades on stream. It’s a amazing game.
Blast Shower OP
I do not like the new bands just cause they are so much harder to proc and I like many people like to run command 24/7 meaning Ill always get at clovers out of legendaries. That and just cause I like effects that can be proc'ed anytime not just when an ATG hits (its the most common way of procing them and that itself does a lot of damage making bands overkill a lot of the time).
Not sure if this is a dumb question, but does blast shower reset the permanent damage from eclipse 8?technically its a debuff
no
@@Woolie damn that sucks but I guess it makes sense
God help the enemies if you somehow end up with 5 ATGs and a Clover.
What if I dont want to run grenade on commando and don't find specifically an atg? I had a run where almost all of my green drops were the bands. Had like 4 of each and had 0 way to actually proc them. Really frustrating.
Well, there's more than just ATG to proc them as Commando. Several equipment can proc them and there are other items that can like Molten Perferator and Shatterspleen's explosion.
