@@FindingLifesAdventure it's nuts! I love an old 379 but not digging the narrow cab with kids and dogs needing to crawl in the back. Aero cabs are better for us but the fact new trucks aren't being delivered older trucks are commanding 3-4x what they should! I'm just tired of working my truck with my 16k fifth and the kids kicking my seat
Interested in the truck details. Show off that Pete! Looks clean. I saw 1M miles on the odometer. Did it have an inframe rebuild already? 10 or 13 speed? Are you registering it as an RV? Keeping the commercial 5th wheel plate? We recently purchased an HDT (Volvo 670) with a hauler bed for a Smart car that we use to haul our Momentum. Love it!
Yes it just had an inframe done, c15 cat. 10 speed, wish it was a 13 but oh well. Registering as a rv yes. Undecided on keeping The commercial plate. Eventually the plan would be to put a bed on the back but that’s a ways off.
If your pulling a camper don't keep the commercial 5th wheel. Get an air ride 5th wheel. Commercial 5th wheel will destroy the frame of camper. Know from personal experience, 4 in our group have wrecked frames but the 2 with air ride 5th wheels haven't had any issues
Register it as an RV. The "private not for hire" sticker does nothing for you and in some places can cause you more issues having it then not having it. Register as RV and sticker it saying "registered personal RV"
@@NTM2009 The commercial hitch in some states makes a difference in how it is registered. No commercial hitch means you won't be pulling any commercial style trailers.
Have fun fueling that thing up. What kind of mileage do you think it gets?
Mileage was about 10 empty 7 towing
Your killing me!!!I've been shopping for an hdt like crazy!!
Tough to find anything decent in this crazy market

Yessss!
What year and model?
And may I ask the way the market is right now how much did it cost 🤔
its a 2007 peterbilt 379.
i Like the white! nice choice!
Thank you!
I like the new truck
It’s nice!

All you need to do is remove the Commercial king pin coupler.
With the private stickers your Golden 👍
@@jamesglenn520 they need to keep a 5th wheel on it to pull their camper. Hitch doesn't make it personal or commercial. And not for hire means nothing

@@NTM2009 You shouldn't pull an Rv with that commercial hitch. They don't pivot side to side and will destroy the front of their trailer.
@James Glenn correct but with the gen y pinbox on camper they will be ok
$$???🤔
