Ballen Brands is a family-owned, agent-driven, dynamic digital marketing company specializing in strategies, tools, and resources to guide real estate agents and small to medium businesses to success.
As a marketing guru, Lori Ballen, the founder of Ballen Brands, developed products to solve her own needs in business, real estate lead generation, and website productivity.
Her success led her to create an online learning resource for other professionals, where she flourished in teaching, coaching, and generating exponential expansion of her businesses.
To accommodate the company’s growth, Lori hired her brother, Jeff Helvin, as COO for Ballen Brands.
Jeff, an entrepreneur since college, stepped immediately into his role, connecting with his clients to provide assurance, confidence, and high-quality products.
As Ballen Brands continued to expand, Lori and Jeff brought in their eldest brother, Paul Helvin, to raise the bar even higher regarding client relations and product development.
Jeff and Paul Helvin now fully own and operate Ballen Brands so Lori can continue to focus on content creation and consulting.

The real question is how to break that one big content block up into its component parts (heading, text editor, heading, etc).

Unfortunately there isn't an automated way of Wordpress or Elementor to do that for us. We have to rebuild it one section at a time using the Elementor tools in order to make that happen.

@@BallenBrandsin this case, isn't it always better to start a project with all pages in elementor itself? Keeping in mind that there could be changes to specific elements of the page even after it goes live, isn't that a better way to go about it from the very beginning?

@@bala6390 Absolutely. This video was made more for those that already had a website and then later installed the Elementor plugin. It doesn't make sense to convert old pages from Gutenberg to Elementor unless you plan to use the Elementor features on that particular page. If you have the time and resources, then yes, I believe it's best to convert them all, or rebuilt them all from scratch for consistency across the board.

Your Video title said "How to Convert a Gutenberg Page to Elementor"...but all You did was add a slider widget to a Gutenberg Page turned Text Block.

Ok great this clarified a few good points, good straight to the point video. I do have one question. Can yo revert back to Gutenberg once you convert to Elementor?
If you want a reason why, Woocommerce Checkout page text can be edited in Gutenberg, but once I converted to Elementor I can no longer change text on buttons or descriptions etc.
Appreciate if you have a fix? Cheers

You bet! There is a button when you Edit the Page in Wordpress (not Edit in Elementor) labeled "Back to Wordpress" that should pull it back out of Elementor and put it back into Gutenberg. The formatting will likely be different, but it should become editable in there.

have you ever seen a situation where the dedicated blog page (where posts are dynamically loaded) doesn't have the "edit with elementor" option, either at the top of the page, or once you are inside the Gutenberg page (where you could edit, but only with Elementor)? In my case, Elementor is installed and able to edit all other pages and posts. But the blog page (the one chosen in Wordpress / reading to display blog posts) does not allow editing in Elementor. I basically would have to create a different page, which is a problem bc I'm trying to update my site, and want to keep the same URLs. It's kinda confusing and I'm looking for a work around.

Hi, Tina! It sounds like that particular page was not developed in Elementor, so it would need to be converted. Please watch this video and let us know if this helps! ruclips.net/video/63qifNvLNFg/видео.htmlsi=X_nL04jz-QOQ6n_A

So if I built a page with Spectra could I switch to Elementor in like manner since Spectra works on the back of Gutenberg?

Unfortunately most design builders are not friendly with other design builders so it is not likely that this would be a simple process. You would be best served rebuilding the page with Elementor, or hiring out someone else to rebuild it for you.

      @BallenBrands  6 месяцев назад +1

Hi, Jhansi! Sadly the different WordPress editors don't work well with each other. Your best bet would be to simply rebuild the page in Elementor if that's the editor you're choosing moving forward.

But it not works as easy as you shows here

    • @BallenBrands

Sorry to hear that! It's possible there is a conflict with the plugin and your theme that is causing a challenge. You may need to have a developer look further into it for you.
