- Goku is dead! Without him, it is up to Gohan to take the mantel of his father. Will Super Saiyan God Gohan and Vegeta be enough to take on the enemies ahead? Or will the fall against the might of Super Saiyan Rose Vegeta Black?

Man I think there can be an alternative and better ending to this, basically goku tells Vegeta and gohan about the fusion technique since he did learnt that, and use that against jiren to fuse gohan and vegeta to defeat him, and then gohan wishes for all the universes to return
Imagine how powerful Goku would be if he came back to life then because of all those extra years of training.

Without Goku, there is no Tournament of Power. The Omni King was simply just going to destroy all the universes.
No he wasn't! He only said that so the fighters would have motivation to give him the best entertainment possible. That's why he foresaw the winner wishing for all the universes to be restored...there was no risk. if they didnt do that, then they'd be erased for making a selfish wish.
If he truly wanted them destroyed, he wouldn't want a mortal to make that wish and definitely wouldnt punish them for wishing for something different. If they did anyway then he'd erase the universes again after the wish to restore them was granted ... You think making that wish just magically made him forget he originally wanted them destroyed prior to the tournament? Of course not, he never had any intent on erasing them permanently to begin with.
It's crazy how much goes over people's heads when they literally state it....
Going to make a few points for myself on things that I noticed that didn't set too well.
First point being with Gohan not unlocking his full potential. Despite being dead, we've easily seen Goku (Dead) still use instant transmission to show up to the Kaioshin World in DBZ, which will lead to Gohan unlocking his full potential. I'd frankly say that once Goku picks up on Gohan's increasing ki due to his training in the same realm he's in, he would show up. Once his power unlocks, he'd more easily finish off Dabura once following him to Babidi, and that encounter stays the same. Now that his full potential is released and he can access it, this easily allows Gohan to quickly gain strides in power as well as allowing him to fully access all his raw potential at any given time (which would make Vegeta even stronger anytime the two may spar, seeing as Gohan would be far above Vegeta. If not sparring, than at least motive Vegeta even MORE to train harder than ever before.) With continuous training, that potential always increases therefor he's always peaked, always able to tap into his absolute 100% (will not effect the events of Frieza returning, would still go the same way as it had with this What If's Gohan offing Frieza before he reaches his Golden Form.) All while without needing to master anything or worry about stamina or ki loss. And supposing Gohan "could" theoretically or actually could tap into Super Saiyan or Super Saiyan 2 on top of this, he only grows exponentially stronger from there. (So no need for a god form.) This may also effect how the Multiversal Tournament plays out, as seeing Gohan accessing his power allows him to push Goku to SSB, which for this specific time frame prior to the TOP, I'd say it would be no different- Gohan would at the very least would match closely behind Vegeta's power. Again, proposing the idea that he can tap into ssj and ssj 2, he would easily become overwhelmingly more powerful than Hit. Or just like this What If, if he can't stack ssj on top of his full potential, he would be knocked out and tell Vegeta about the time skip which results in Vegeta narrowly beating Hit.
Next point: The Goku Black (Or Rather Vegeta Black) Arc. An issue with this is the very beginning, revolving around Vegeta fighting his imposter, Zamasu/Vegeta Black. Vegeta, unlike Goku, takes more pride unto himself and how far he's come. Seeing someone steal a Saiyan's body and the fruits of it's training, coupled with that Saiyan being Vegeta himself, I don't see Vegeta taking that first encounter the same way Goku did. Vegeta would simply end the fight and kill Black then and there, the transpiring events move forward as expected, Universe 7's Zamasu is erased and Vegeta, Trunks and Gohan still go back to the future, use the sealing technique and hand Zamasu off to Beerus and Whis. Thus starting and ending that Arc.
Lastly, The Tournament of Power. After the events of the Multiversal Tournament, I would imagine Zeno "might" conceive the idea of hosting his own. While Zeno was probably intending to erase more universes down the line, he wouldn't have done it for probably a long time. The only reason the TOP happened was due to Goku mentioning another tournament similar to the Multiversal Tournament and his going on to want to fight other strong opponents- to which Zeno granted as it allowed him a more entertaining way to remove more universes. Without Goku being involved in these events, I believe the TOP wouldn't happen and DBS would progress to Moro as it is now in the manga.
That's simply my take on this What If, just a few details that immediately caught my attention. I hope some people enjoy this little spin on the What If, my take on it, on how things would've more logically played out in my personal opinion. Regardless, SmugStick and SaladSaiyan still did a good job, and I appreciate they're work. Keep it up guys *Thumbs up*

I was hoping Golden Frieza would break the z sword, and once Frieza was defeated he could get mystic that way. Both working as ironic since frieza would make a remark about not dying by the sword again, but him breaking it actually made Gohan power surpass even Vegeta’s, once the ritual is done. Also he can stay in a mystic ssjg like state all the time, training the power meditating, and controlling it at all times, while he’s at home, and at work. (Maybe not at work, I can see people finding it weird he just have red eyes, and hair, but than again you have launch, and people like Bulma with blue hair.
I wouldn't say the Vegeta Black thing would exist unless he fought Zamasu to get him to want to steal his body, Gowasu should be able to talk some sense into him.
Goku only met zamasu because of goku black appearing in the present. So he’d do it anyway

The ending could of also went the fusion way where goku gohan or vegeta gohan fuses with potara

In this Timeline Vegeta had more a LOT more training with Whis than the original timeline right.
1.) On Vegeta Black Arc, wouldn't Vegeta unlock Super Saiyan Blue: Evolved in here? Especially when Black would decimate Vegeta at one point and starts telling him that he stole his body and kill BULMA and TRUNKS. Vegeta sure would be enranged and push to his limits and remember Vegeta is training a so MUCH MORE with Whis in this timeline so he is much more powerful and had a lot more mastery of his Blue form.
2.) Is there a possibility of Vegeta unlocking Ultra Instinct in this timeline? The Offensive side of Ultra Instinct rather than Goku's Defensive. Since he trained a lot more with Whis in this timeline and Whis was trying train both Goku and Vegeta in the original timeline explaining the concept of Ultra instinct. If so MUI Offensive Vegeta could decimate Jiren?
3.) Is Goku stuck with SSJ3 with Kaioken? Goku always tends to break his limits, and being dead for years all he do in the afterlife is train right? I guess he can't go SSJ4 because he need his tail?

The ending was bullshit. They could’ve given Goku trunks and goten the god form and trained in the hypersonic lion tamer with whis. This would result in Goku trunks and goten with the blue form. Goku could’ve also taught them instant transmission. They could’ve won. Goku could’ve tried instant transmission on jiren to teleport him into the stands and out of the ring.
