I refilled hp 123 Tri Color cartridge in hp deskjet 2620 but the ink level indicates that it is empty and the printer does not print anything , when i give it a printing job , it blocks it.
I searched on internet and i discoverd that hp blocked refilling old cartridge ,so i need a way to reset ink level or make the printer read the old one as a new one.
could you please help me ?
The newer cartriges have a chip in them that needs to be reset to tell the printer its full. I dont have that with the #61 carts in my printer. There must be a way. Good luck

Even my printer indicates that it is empty even I get a warning. But still, it prints. I guess you didn't fill properly. After refilling, just close the back part with a napkin and use a vacuum cleaner(without attachment) and suck air. Slowly ink starts leaking in the napkin. Can the same method be used for a HP 950xl black cartridge?
Wish I knew but I am not an expert. As far as I know many HP carts are similar. see if the bottom is like a 61 where ink squirts out from the cart directly to the paper or does it go into a tube to a print head. But maybe someone else can reply. Best of luck.
How do you stop the emty lock then
Unless you have a gadget to change the chip ID info you are outfoxed by HP. I have the same problem after a while, but usually I can get 1 or 2 refills out of a cart before that getting an error message. Tks for writing!
No problem i found som refill ones i will try them. I been readig they have a 800max on the chips so then they stop. But some you can put tape on the rght pinouts and ulock them. Arg.. Hp it's not legal to lock us out. So there must be a bypass.. Almost so i tear my priter apart to see if i can hack it rather then the lnk. Since lits more likely the ink is hard to crack but not the printer since they dont ecspect somone do that. And if they do its only a few.. Have to see.. If i can flash it an get the fw out. Lol im blu red an yellow all over after the ink hastlet. Halleluja 🙌 for bleetch.
@@TheCbj79 this sounds like great idea! I must try! Hate those printer companys ...dont the y have enuf money!!!!
