Hi, first of all thanks for the kind words 😀. To answer your questions, no this is not Surla waterfall, that is different although in the same area. Some people call it that to mislead people. Map details are in the description, check it out. As for the guide, we paid 1000rs. If you have a large group it works out. When we went there it was peak time and we could easily find guides at the Forestry checkpost. Look for people with yellow hat.

Hey, I m not sure about the situation currently. It was closed for a while because of extreme littering. Then I saw some new posts on Instagram saying the place was open. So not really sure. You can call up Delta Eco Huts resort and check with them.
How do we get a guide? And are these also known as Satrem waterfalls?
When you reach the Forestry department checkpost, you will see few locals wearing yellow hats. They are the guides. You can directly negotiate with them.
Satrem falls is different. It looks similar but smaller. Jalavane is the bigger one

I have been hearing similar things about this place lately. Better check with Forestry department before you plan on going. And also during rainy season you can't go there at all.

It's in Goa-Belgaum Border. Right after Chorla Ghat. Yes you go from Goa in car

There was a ban for a while but now it has been opened as far as I know. But now the water level would be high. So either wait for couple of weeks to go there or if you want to go now then please do hire a guide. Its a dangerous trek.

@@AmitBhatFilms true, they know better... And number of tourists is very less now. Today there were only 8 .. so they didn't let us in.
We might not see this waterfall in future as Karnataka is diverting the mandovi river and this waterfall is part of that river 😮💨😔

Abhi pata nahi bro.. I have heard it was closed down permanently. But some time back I also saw some new Instagram posts of this place. So not sure if it’s open or not. But either way it’s not at all safe to go here during peak monsoon. Very dangerous.
