Season 2 was not confirmed for Fall. They gave no date at the livestream. But there is a possibility it might be in Fall, considering they dropped a key visual and and a PV already.

They're doing a rerun of the show starting in April, scheduled reruns like that tend to line up with whenever the next season is coming, and it would line up with October / Fall season, which was part of the initial rumor.
This is my favorite isekai to come out since Re:Zero s2 finished,grew in me so fast and I say I enjoyed it as much if not more than even Mushoku Tensei,so this announcement got me HYPED AF!

S2 is most likely gonna be 12 eps since there are only 3 volumes left & the manga is still in the middle of adapting volume 4.
Yeah but the author makes like on average a volume per year so as long as they only adapt one volume in a 12 episode cour each maybe 1-1,5 years they will most probably not run out of content to adapt
If season 2 only adapted lawless city arc which is part 1 of volume 3 then it will take 3 years for animators to catch up to the LN if they make Eminence in shadow 1 season per year

The first season of 20 eps adapted 2 volumes, they can easily do another 20 episode season with just the manga, not even the LN adaptation
@@Patrick-oq3bd yes, but the manga does only cover about 3 anda half ln volumes. There are five with 2 arcs each volume. If we have 1 cour per arc which I hope we dont it would take them 6 years to adapt the 3 remaining ones that are out right now. Which does not make any sense so I do hope they keep up with the 1 volume 10-12 episodes
