Another nice video! I would like to see what the tornado on the flame stove would look like if you used the same dome fire ring that is used on the DYI stove.
There's a version of the collapsible stove with a rounded potstand (like your brilliant design) and it works better than these cylindrical pot stands. These potstands were made for people who didn't understand/like that gasifier stoves are TLUD stoves, and wanted to keep feeding the stove as it burns. (That's why there is a slot in the potstand/windscreen). Anyways, great video! My collapsible stove should be arriving monday or Tuesday, and I'll modify mine after burning it once or twice, to see if it's worth it. I'll bend the bottom holes too for added circular airflow. I might add a metal fan inside to aid that, but for that to happen I'll probably need to add a mesh on top to reduce debris falling into it and disturbing airflow. It'll reduce the burn chamber size, and thus the total burn time, but I think it might be worth it. Hello. It was a very interesting video. Rotating the flame stream efficiently mixes and ignites the air and unburned gas. Rotation also has the effect of promoting combustion. Сделать больше мелких отверстий чтобы перемешивался кислород с продуктами горения лучше, расположить их немного ниже но не сильно ниже, чтобы не было ускоренного сжигания топлива. Еще есть мысль, напилить короткие металлические трубки, вставить трубки по периметру печи, подобрать диаметр сверла чтобы трубки ходили плотно и не вываливались и также отогнуть в бок.
I have a similar stove to the "Flame Stove". I wonder why it took so long for the tornado to start, I might try modifying mine too, makes it look nice.
Thanks for your comment. Tornado will answer about the time until it occurs. For a while after igniting the fuel, combustion will be intense. Because of the intense combustion, there is a large updraft, creating a tornado column of fire. Eventually, the intense combustion will subside and the position of primary combustion will also decrease. When that happens, the tornado becomes more obvious, and the pillar of fire becomes smaller.
What a nice try, and thanks for sharing. Do you think the direction of the holes at the bottom parts affects the tornado? I would like to try bending the direction of the holes in both the bottom and upper parts in the same direction.

Quoting from Wikipedia It is said that when a pitcher throws a straight ball to a catcher at 100km/h (28m/s), the pitch will be bent by 0.88mm at a distance of 17-18m. A cannonball traveling at 1000m/s will bend 7.3m at a distance of 10km. The air speed coming out of the secondary combustion hole is 1 to 2 m/s, and the bending distance of 10 cm is...0.000◎mm bending. It seems that there is almost no Coriolis effect at this stove level. It is said that the vortex of the bathtub drain rotates clockwise in the Northern Hemisphere and counterclockwise in the Southern Hemisphere. However, it seems that it is the same in the Northern Hemisphere and Southern Hemisphere, or it is the opposite of the conventional theory. It seems that there is no scientific proof yet. I have watched two fire tornado videos and they are wonderful! For bending the holes when you need to work inside the stove, would an allen key (also called hex wrench, I think) be useful? The "L" shaped tool to turn bolts that have a hexagonal hole. It should fit inside the stove, so the holes could be bent flat instead of slightly upwards.
Hello. A great idea is to use a hex wrench. The secondary combustion hole does not have to be round. The secondary combustion holes on commercially available stoves are either round or square. I immediately tried using a hex wrench and was able to bend it sideways. I really appreciate your valuable comments.😆👍👍👍

自分もコーヒー缶で2次燃焼ストーブ作ったりしてたのですが、すぐに錆で使えなくなるので今はフレイムストーブLを使ってます。幸運にも9.5mmのドライバも手元にあり、トルネード化するしかないと思いました!
こんにちは。DIYのブリキ缶は手間ですが毎回使用後はシリコンスプレーを吹いて防錆対策しているんです。さて9.5mmさえあれば簡単にできますね。今回、初めからトルネード出現せず、ヤキモキしました。原因はペレットが多くて、初めは上の方でしか燃焼してません。やがて燃料も消費して一次燃焼ポイントが下がり、二次燃焼の為のエアー通過する壁が熱せられ、、上昇気流がアップ、二次燃焼穴からの吹き出しエアースピードがアップしたことによります。トルネードチャレンンジ、是非頑張ってみて下さいね。😄

こんにちは。手持ちの工具、あさって探しました。さてトルネード発生が遅くなったのは、もともとDIYストーブより①二次燃焼穴までの通過隙間が狭い、②距離が短い③穴が大きいによるものと④ペレットが多く初めは上の方でしか燃焼してません。やがて燃料も消費して一次燃焼ポイントが下がり、通過する壁が熱せられ、二次燃焼の為のエアー、上昇気流がアップ、二次燃焼穴からの吹き出しエアースピードがアップ、が要因だと思います。以前のやまじいさんのタンブラーの様にシビア-な状態だったと言えます。😅
なるほど、やっぱり二次燃焼穴までの隙間とペレットの量で発生時間が変るんですね。シビアですね‼勉強になります😁
北半球で右回りトルネードってどうなの?と思い観てましたが、右回りでもちゃんと行くんですね。しかし僅かな差でしょうが、左回りの方が効率が良い気がします。

こんにちは。突き上げる高さがあるのは圧倒的にDIYストーブです。このフレイムストーブLはDIYより空気取入れから二次燃焼穴間の隙間が狭く、通過する空気が管摩擦抵抗で減速、また通過高さがあまりなく上昇気流も低いと思われます。なので二次燃焼穴から吹き出すエアー圧、流量は小さくなり、更には二次燃焼穴はDIYが6mmに対してフレイムストーブが10mmなのでますます二次燃焼穴から吹き出すエアーのスピードは遅くなります。この差によりトルネードの回転力、火柱の高さに差が出たと思います。DIYと全く同じもの、あるいはフレイムストーブで同じもの、左右トルネードで比較すればコリオリの力の影響の有無が判断着きますが・・・。🤔

コメントありがとうございます。一番の理由は非日常的な炎の形態を見てみたいと思いました。人工的なブロワーを使わず、自然対流で回転し、編み込まれた炎の火柱です。ストーブで料理したり、暖を取る、以外にも鑑賞的な炎がプラスさせたかったのです。🤔🔥

こんにちは。そうですね。スピードが速いものがコリオリの力の影響を受けると聞いてましたが、あれでもコリオリに逆行して右回転なるだろうかと少し心配しました。右回転して安心しました。😅
DIYの方がコリオリの力でより高くまでトルネードが維持されているように見えますが、どうでしょう?
こんにちは。圧倒的に回転力、火柱の高さはDIYストーブです。このフレイムストーブLはDIYより①空気取入れから二次燃焼穴間の隙間が狭く、通過する空気が管摩擦抵抗で減速、②通過する高さがあまりなく上昇気流も低いと思われます。なので二次燃焼穴から吹き出すエアー圧、流量はDIYより小さくなり、更には③二次燃焼穴はDIYが6mmに対してフレイムストーブが10mmなのでますます二次燃焼穴から吹き出すエアーのスピードは遅くなります。この差によりトルネードの回転力、火柱の高さに差が出たと思います。DIYがコリオリの力も得ていたかもしれませんが、①②③の要因が大きいと感覚的に感じました。DIYと全く同じもので、左巻きも作ってみたらコリオリの力の影響が解るかも知れませんね。😅

2차 연소 구멍에서 3cm 아래까지 펠릿을 넣었습니다. 약 15~20분에 토네이도가 발생했습니다. 연료 가스의 양, 스토브의 온도, 다양한 조건이 최적으로 발생합니다. 연소가 심하면 상승 기류가 빠르기 때문에 토네이도가 나오지 않습니다. 연료를 많이 넣지 않고 바닥만의 경우 바닥에서 격렬하게 타오르고 상승 기류가 빠릅니다. 연료는 많이 넣으십시오. 어딘가의 타이밍에 토네이도하는 조건이 일치합니다. 이상 즐기세요.😄

こんにちは。コメントありがとうございます。一般的に言われているコリオリの力ですね。北半球はコリオリの力が右なので台風は左渦巻き、南半球は右巻きの台風ですね。スピードが速いものほどこの力が強いそうですが、炎への回転はほんの僅かだと思いますが、ゼロではなく、影響は有りますね。ちなみに排水口の右巻き、左巻きは学術的に証明されていなくて、南半球でも北半球の方向になるそうです。バスタブやシンクの形状により変わるそうです・・・これだけ言われているのに実は不確かな俗説とは不思議です。😅

こんにちは。コメントありがとうございます。北半球、南半球でお馴染みのコリオリの力ですね。ピッチャーが100km/hのスピードでキャッチャーに投げたときのコリオリの力は僅か1mmも曲がらないそうです。焚き火の炎のスピードは弱いので殆ど影響は無いようです。台風のような莫大なエネルギー、スピード、持続時間だとあのような壮絶な曲がり、回転になるそうです。😀

キャンプで はやっていた炎色反応の素はやりましたが、虹色できれいでした。銅単体はやったことないので、緑や青の怪しい炎ですね。これはこれできれいでしょうね。

こんにちは。コリオリの力は地球が回っているいる限り働いてますが、その大きさに差が有るようですね。いくら炎がスピードが遅くても、0.00〇%は働いてますね。バスタブ、シンクの渦ですが、こちらは科学的な証明はされてないそうです。北半球は〇回転、南は△回転と言われていますが、誤った説が独り歩きしているようです。北、南で同じ回転方向になったり、逆になったり、これだけ言われている事が不確かな、根拠のない事だった説とは驚きですね。とはいえ証明出来てないだけ?で、おっしゃられるように先ずは逆らわない事がBESTですね。貴重なご意見、感謝します。😄👍
竜巻は左回転で自然界で(北半球)発生します 台風も同じ たぶん自転や色々な影響でその方が効率的なのでしょう オシッコも必ず左回転するらしいですよ

Ciao. Grazie per il tuo commento. Lo scopo questa volta era ruotare la fiamma. Finora non ho misurato il peso del pellet, il peso della cenere, IN e OUT. Trattandosi di una stufa a combustione secondaria, penso che l'efficienza della combustione sia buona.😃
