Thank you, Staci. This was very useful. And as always, you are a great teacher. I learned how to bind off purlwise, and a bonus! How to get a better edge on my purl rows. Thank youj.
Hi Staci - I will be greatefull if you could do video's on the following stickers (when you have the time) - PDYO (Purl, dropping extra yarn over from previous row) and P2YO (Purl, yarning over twice on this st).
Great !!! Thanks Staci, always love how congruent - the continuity of your stitches, beautiful finish;) Thanks for being the best online 👩🏫 teacher (still need a cute knitting ball with needles - in variety of colors plus a cute young gal knitting icon ;) Enjoy your week and Happy Easter!!! 🌷 🐣 🌷
Thank you for sharing Staci! I always learn something New from you! Now, I only wish that I could hold my needles and knit as fast as you too. Signed, Slow Poke Knitter. 🙄
Thank you! A few comments: Cowls --- I'm doing a cowl which says bind off purlwise and I'm pretty sure it's to match the other side of the cowl. Second: Where did you get your necklace? It's lovely! and Finally: Can you do a bind off both ways (K) and (P) in the round as a video? That would be helpful! Thanks again!
Thank you Staci for this excellent video. I have one pattern that I am working on that tells me to bind-off the first stitch purlwise and all the others knitwise. Does that mean I do 1 purl followed by 1 knit and then pass the stitch over like in a bind-off? Thanks in advance!
Hi Staci. This is probably a weird question to ask on this video but I was wondering what are the difference between knitting all stitches ( garter stitch) and purling all stitches ( reverse garter stitch) it's essentially the same no? You still get the same fabric, or am I missing something. Thanks for all of your wonderful help.
Thank you - love your videos! Quick question - would you use this in binding off a k2 p2 ribbing, for example? Or would you just do all knit even over the purl stitches? Thank you
You've been my go-to for refreshers or new techniques for years now. Great and clear job, as always.
Great. I like that you move the yarn to the other side when bring one stitch over the other. Thanks.
Thanks! And don't ever stop talking. :) . Love your videos, podcasts and website. Hope you have a great day!
I’ve always kept the yarn at the front. Good to know that putting in it back doesn’t change the look of the bind off. 👍🏾
Thank you, I’ve always bound off knit-wise , but that looks great! Now I can do both....You are an awesome teacher!
I love you! You’re the very best instructor. I appreciate all you do! ❤️

Thank you Staci. I actually did this just last night and after watching your video, I'm happy to say I did it correctly :-)

Never thought of moving the yarn. I always just go to the back and psso. HUH! Thanks!

On a flat piece of work, knitting every row or purling every row gives you the same result - garter stitch.
I insert the left needle through the back without moving the yarn to the back. Does this achieve the same results?
Thankyou for your tutorial!

What you're describing is called binding-off in pattern, here's a video: ruclips.net/video/blNnmLp_EUM/видео.html
