    Thank you for an outstanding and exemplary review I repeat REVIEW you make a point and amplify or support your comment just fantastic. I ordered one a few days ago you have left me smiling and I cannot wait to get my car next week. Thank you from an ex Volvo driver of 38 years who has deserted Volvo as they do not make saloons any more (Big mistake) Thanks from the UK

    New design is superb. Looks like Mercedes is finally regaining bit of that prestige back since the W124. Would certainly consider as my second Merc.

    Well, of course there's two USB port at the back, and there's also a climate control at the back. But it's a German car, so you have to pay for everything! The rear climate control is supplied with the optional "Thermotronic" 4-zone climate control, and the additional 6 USB ports are supplied with the optional "USB package".

    Small add on - I can not understand why for reverse you need to push lever up and for drive to put it down. I would expect vice-versa, for reverse to pull down....

    • @xingbake
      @xingbake 6 месяцев назад +1

      Easier to pull down than to push up, and you will be going forward more often than backwards.

      It's build quality was rubbish and it was looking a little long in the tooth. This one is a grower. It looks like a small S class, I think it's got much more presence than 205 and it oozes class.

    $aud90,000 for a 1.5L engine? Are they having a laugh? This pricing probably accounts for MB sales tanking over the last few years.

  • @campbellreither550

    I drove past a new C class the other day, and almost didn't notice it. It's styling is SO bland, particularly from the back. They needed to do something more.

    $90,000.00 for a C class if it were me, I would pony up the extra $30,000.00 and buy the S-class I know it's somewhat elitist but if you want all the options the S- class is the way to go. Great review as usual.

    Also there is way too much technology on this car. No wonder we keep having loads of car crashes. No one knows how to drive these days. I wish car makers would stop stuffing all this unnecessary crap into modern cars. We don’t need it, anyone who does is a nob. A car should be a car not a supercomputer on wheels.

    Didn't the previous C class have proper exhausts and now this one is much more expensive and just plastic fakes? That shows what MB are really like.

    Damn, this is probably the best car review I've seen in ages. It's ACTUALLY a car review - with all the details, in detail. Brilliant job. I'm so sick of car reviews that are 4 minutes and test out 0 to 100 km/h then just list options out, or compare them to other cars to see "who wins". Those are just so common and useless. So great job and I really appreciated being shown through the tech and have it explained - no one seems to do that anymore either.

    That’s a lot of money for a C class.
    I’m not a huge fan of the looks.
    I would prefer a 3 pointed hood ornament and a more elegant look. I don’t like the AMG line. A Mercedes Benz should be elegant and timely. This is too fussy for me.
