You realize that there is a circular argument in there. You set the iteration steps to 1 which I guess is the most resonable thing to do here. But I am not sure if you did this with 100% awareness. Im pretty sure i've found a bug with Thaumtrugy. You can 'overflow' your crafting results. Like say I'm transmuting Myco, I swap to transmute the other crap I've acrued, that's like Volatile. I can Transmute blessing blossom into Omnious results if I follow the Mycobloom craft. It seems to only work after a few casts of thaumturgy. Can you answer me a noob question: when thaumaturging (crafting) should I be using all of my concentration? Or should I do it without using that? Whats the best way to use concentration?
Get Craftsim click the "Recipe Scan" button at the top, check the "Concentration" button, and it should give you a list of what you probably want to use concentration on. For Alchemy it's generally Harmonious Horticulture or Flask of Alchemical Chaos.
So if I am getting this right you enter all the prices in. Chart spits out the three cheapest things to melt up top. Melt them down, melt down any results in the same price range. Sell the top two. Turn Gleaming into Blas. Spend all Transmutes on the matching bracket to the Melt (or Gleaming Glory idk, seems to spit out pretty large amounts). Since Rank 1 and Rank 2 are near interchangable at this point the upgrade hardly matters, though it could factor, still act like everything is R1. My questions are is there any differences between the Transmutes of the same category, cause WoWhead doesn't have anything on if Call or Ominous, say, are any different, and what do you do will all the spare non gleaming Transmutegens, melt them down too?
Seems like you got a pretty good handle on it all yeah man. I'm working on what to do with xmutes generally though just pick volatile stone its by far the best, gleamings you turn into Blasphemites. Outside of the first time craft for the +1 KP, stay away from the coalesce ones though they're useless.
Can you explain how to read the Rows 2 and 3 of the spreadsheet? The Red cells are quantity, but I am having trouble understanding what B3, B4/C3, C4/D3, D4 are indicating.
Do you mean like this one "=(D2-C2)*1100," D2 in this case is the approximate value of thaumatising 20 mycobloom. So its that -minus the cost of 20 Mycobloom. And depending on if that number is bigger or smaller it will show negative or positive for GPH.
Hi great vids , a question if i may .....im at the stage where i have Thaum tree maxxed with the exception of 5 points in mecuri, but none in alchemical mastery so if i buy R1 materials they break down into R1 but if i buy R2 it breaks down into R2. But when i go to break down transmutegan they are R1. So im wondering if R2 base items are a similar same price as R1 should i buy R1 or R2. Cheers
I don't know the exact answer, haven't set up a calc for that scenario, but the item your doing if the R2 version is cheaper then definitely do that. Unfortunately even if you put all R2 mats into the sheet for R1 it wouldn't work cos the Tranmutagen value would be wrong. So I don't know sorry.
@@Eyancraft Ty for replay and info , ill stick to R1 unless R2 is cheaper Also my Alchemist is also a JC and my only source of acurity now is patron orders and the weeklies, and its way to slow to max out alchemical mastery, also i wasted 44 points in Potent potions. Would it be faster to make a new toon and do say herb/mining or enchanting etc to start over and shuffle into alchemy ? Cheers
Wowhead "Ni Gentlepaw" you can take the Jade Forest portal and basically be there. Just train MOP alchemy and you can make it. The stone you want is called "Zen Alchemist Stone" it requires I think 5 Golden Lotus to craft they're on the AH and super cheap. www.wowhead.com/npc=56777/ni-gentlepaw
You got all expansion this system isn''t going to stop working just because of the way it functions, and as you get more points in you can do other stuff to make it even more profitable no big, also I imagine Blasphemites are going to go really well this week. The 25 into one of the three, 20 into Gleaming 30 into Transmute is a really good build for building capital too.
Really depends on what you are doing. For example Gemstone Crushing, in order to be able to mass produce R3 only need 50KP, but it requires the skill of all three tools, so in that case you skip the books and get all the tools. But if you were Flask/Potion making, the 200/300 and even 400 KP books offer more skill per Artisans Acuity. It really depends what build you're chasing. For most builds, to get to the mass producing R3 items, you need both this early into the expansion.
@Eyan hey man, love your guides.. wanted to ask you, how do you get to flip rank 2 with rank 1 herbs? I've got all the professional equipment, maxed out the thaumaturgy tree and also 50/50 in alchemical mastery but got to 373 skill where I need 375 to get to rank 2 with rank 1s. where do the last 2 skill points come from?
When it comes to inputting the resourcefulness into the spreadsheet are we meant to be putting the raw number or the percentage because for me it seems to be off using either of those.
It's not accurate anywas cos it's only registering as 1 item, I don't know how to properly put in chance of yield cos you can get anything from 1-8 back each time Resourcefulness procs. But just put in the number like if you have 20% just type in 20 not the %
@Eyan I have a question, so are you 100% sure that crafting transmutagen and retransmuting aqirite into luredrop for example, is more profitable than selling that aqirite?
haven't done thaumaturgy in awhile, I don't know whats been the play, but thats what the calculators for. I think Blessing Blossom has ended up being the cheapest out of that group.
hey mate ,, great video . would you mind tell me what to do with all these Gleaming Transmutagen ? is there a way other than that 24hrs one try thingy? my bags are exploding with this mat
Can you please make a detailed video about the spread sheet, kinda hard to understand what every box is saying with all the random numbers. You are losing 100g everytime you transmute cloth on eu right now with your napkin math formula.
I just changed the sheet so hopefully a bit easier to follow, all you really have to do is go to the AH get the prices of all the thaumaturgy materials and type them into the box next to their name, add your resourcefulness amount then maybe refresh the sheet so it updates with your values.
Based off roughly how many casts per hour, which with just the potions is ~1100, so 22,000. Will need readjusting if you have the Weaver Buff thats 15% so if Blizz math right you'd need to put in 1265, haven't tested that number yet.
crafting speed does not need to be high and should not either if lets say you have house work going on. For me I set it to turn things into other things than walk away to clean up my home because it does not matter if I am watching or not, so 1000 times it cycles each time is 10 seconds so 10k seconds is a lot but its around what I need to do my dishes so I can do 2 seconds so much faster but I need lets say 5k seconds for house work. It was asmond gold who does videos with all kinds of vermin running around because he wants the most out of wow which is a good goal but for health reasons its better not to do that so I dont worry so much about speed
Nice guide, but I have a question, there are another ways to spend the transmutagens besides Thaumaturgy right? I mean the ones that are called "mercurial herbs", "volatile stone", and other ones. I think those ones are useful if you want that specific items no?
Unfortunately now because so many people have it setup probably all of them. There will probably always be an arbitrage angle though so you don't have to set this up in a week. Just do it slowly and eventually you'll be able to make gold with it.
Is it possible to reach r2 mats using r1 mats? that traumaturgy specialization tree is somewhat confusing for me. I tried napkin math and came up with 373/375 if I get everything but not entirely sure. Gleaming transmutagen tree 20 (+5) works for all traumaturgy, right? Also what about transmutation sub tree? it doesnt work for all traumaturgy or does it? and last: I thought that those 3 sub trees for ominous/volatile/mercury traumaturgy will be double dipping? "Increases your Skill in Thaumaturgy and Ominous Transmutations by +1 per point in this specialization." But doesnt seem to give double points no matter what mat I put in (tried them all). So why say "AND ominous transmutations" instead of just increases skill in Thaumaturgy by +1 per point" ? what I am missing?
@@Eyancraft Wait so you can't reach r2 unless you're a goblin/kultiran? I did this on a alt DH I had laying around and this is going to make me incredibly sad when I reach max here soon if I can't craft r2 with r1 mats. I thought with crafted tools you could, cause maxing out alchemical mastery gives you +10 at end so that's 60 points from that tree, 22 extra points from r5 green to crafted and then maxing everything in Thaumaturgy you would have 477 points with r1 mats and the transmutagens no???? Also can you explain how I can copy/paste export into the sheet as you said? I been updating prices daily and its been heck trying to keepup and being able to copy/paste would be incredibly easier.
dont get it, so i buy weavercloth, transmute them, transmute the stransmutegen to hopefully receive bismut and dust, to sell it? or do i have to upgrade the qualite form 2 up to 3 and sell that?
On US mycobloom is the one to do right this second out of the ominous not weaver, but yes thats the gist of it. If you have 25 points in all 3, just thaumatise the cheapest of each group and it'll work out.
Pretty good guide. Wish I seen it before I invested my points into thaumaturgy like 4-5 days back because somehow you just cant fuckin find info about specific wow things...arent there lots of people playing wow anymore or what? was getting costant loss even 4-5 days ago when storm dust prices were like 105~, now I doubt I can profit (maybe with full full investment into stuff you shown but even then profit probably wont be big at all and those kp investments are permanent...)

@@Eyancraft Thanks for the reply. I'd love to donate too. One more question, Row 2 and row 3, I get the concept of how to use the sheet but what do they stand for? You say the one with the highest number in gold, is that row 2 (red) or row 3 (yellow)?
@@bbeast9755 It's the yellow. Red is just the cost of the material you're doing x20 because thats how much gold you spend each click. Yellow is how much you get back each click X1100 which is about how many crafts you can do with the potion/weaver craft speed buffs.

He did the artisan acuity shuffle most likely. Unfortunately, it was nerfed recently to prevent people from shuffling and being 2 months ahead of everyone else.
If you have all three of Volatile/Ominous/Mercurial filled, try the spreadsheet in the description and put price in manually. Not going to guarantee the accuracy of the sheet cos Thauma is math on math on math, but I think its close enough that its serviceable, hasn't gone wrong for me yet. I've also lowballed all the % in it so it's hopefully closer to the unlucky bad rng runs than the average or good, so if it says profit it should be the numbers are deflated intentionally. Put your own resourcefulness in it too, defaulted to mine currently I should probably remove that.
I just used (Material Cost x Your Resource in decimal value.) But that is just 1 Material where as you are using 20, for accurate you'll need a average yield which I haven't jotted down, then yeah you're right x amount of casts per hour

Get Craftsim click the "Recipe Scan" button at the top, check the "Concentration" button, and it should give you a list of what you probably want to use concentration on. For Alchemy it's generally Harmonious Horticulture or Flask of Alchemical Chaos.
You're the goat
Couldn't make it to the end of the video. I started drinking everytime the author said "thaumaturgy" I'me drunk 60 sekonds inn....
shiii my bad bro, when you wake up try finding nemo and drink when you see a fish, will help the hangover
Hahaha, 6 shots in 30 seconds
...hic!
excellent guide
Can you explain how to read the Rows 2 and 3 of the spreadsheet? The Red cells are quantity, but I am having trouble understanding what B3, B4/C3, C4/D3, D4 are indicating.
Do you mean like this one "=(D2-C2)*1100," D2 in this case is the approximate value of thaumatising 20 mycobloom. So its that -minus the cost of 20 Mycobloom. And depending on if that number is bigger or smaller it will show negative or positive for GPH.
And GPH is the yellow shaded cell?
Storm dust is down to like 50-60g. As soon as it dropped that low I stopped doing thaumaturgy. It’s not worth anymore.
Hi great vids , a question if i may .....im at the stage where i have Thaum tree maxxed with the exception of 5 points in mecuri, but none in alchemical mastery
so if i buy R1 materials they break down into R1 but if i buy R2 it breaks down into R2.
@@Eyancraft Ty for replay and info , ill stick to R1 unless R2 is cheaper
Also my Alchemist is also a JC and my only source of acurity now is patron orders and the weeklies, and its way to slow to max out alchemical mastery, also i wasted 44 points in Potent potions.
Would it be faster to make a new toon and do say herb/mining or enchanting etc to start over and shuffle into alchemy ?
Cheers
Hi it says I need a philosopher stone for this we’re do I get that please?
Wowhead "Ni Gentlepaw" you can take the Jade Forest portal and basically be there. Just train MOP alchemy and you can make it. The stone you want is called "Zen Alchemist Stone" it requires I think 5 Golden Lotus to craft they're on the AH and super cheap. www.wowhead.com/npc=56777/ni-gentlepaw
Damn, now im kicking myself for going fully into being able to make the epic gem and getting extra transmute charge. Shouldve done the 25 25 25
You got all expansion this system isn''t going to stop working just because of the way it functions, and as you get more points in you can do other stuff to make it even more profitable no big, also I imagine Blasphemites are going to go really well this week. The 25 into one of the three, 20 into Gleaming 30 into Transmute is a really good build for building capital too.
Hey, what takes priority, the KP books or blue tools?
Really depends on what you are doing. For example Gemstone Crushing, in order to be able to mass produce R3 only need 50KP, but it requires the skill of all three tools, so in that case you skip the books and get all the tools.
But if you were Flask/Potion making, the 200/300 and even 400 KP books offer more skill per Artisans Acuity. It really depends what build you're chasing. For most builds, to get to the mass producing R3 items, you need both this early into the expansion.
@@Eyancraft Well I was thinking specifically for this thaumaturgy
RIP the weavercloth category after the gleaming shard breakdown that got introduced today
Unfortunately that can only be done as a Kul'Tiran or Goblin.
You use them to create Blasphemite.
How do I make mats higher tier?
How much material does the spreadsheet assume is being purchased to make the profit?
They're on a cooldown, you're going to get a lot more transmutagen than you can use on those. But yes you do want to be doing them daily.
How much KP would you suggest to start this?
Unfortunately now because so many people have it setup probably all of them. There will probably always be an arbitrage angle though so you don't have to set this up in a week. Just do it slowly and eventually you'll be able to make gold with it.
@@Eyancraft Thank you so much for the reply. I'll def keep working on it on the side. Great video! Dinosaur mount here I come!
No you're right you have to be a Kul'Tiran +2, or a Goblin +5. Thats why I set this up on a class that can be one of them.
I dont have resourcefulness voice on my Thaumaturgy, did they debuffed that? I only have crafting speed and ingenuity
dont get it, so i buy weavercloth, transmute them, transmute the stransmutegen to hopefully receive bismut and dust, to sell it? or do i have to upgrade the qualite form 2 up to 3 and sell that?
On US mycobloom is the one to do right this second out of the ominous not weaver, but yes thats the gist of it. If you have 25 points in all 3, just thaumatise the cheapest of each group and it'll work out.
Pretty good guide. Wish I seen it before I invested my points into thaumaturgy like 4-5 days back because somehow you just cant fuckin find info about specific wow things...arent there lots of people playing wow anymore or what? was getting costant loss even 4-5 days ago when storm dust prices were like 105~, now I doubt I can profit (maybe with full full investment into stuff you shown but even then profit probably wont be big at all and those kp investments are permanent...)
did they remove resourcefulness from thaumaturgy?
Nah man add a item in the slot it'll show up.
How do you get all the herbs though? Its impossible to get on the AH as there are way too many buyer buying that stuff up FAST!
Nah just through the AH, the snipe bots and baiters are super annoying though, "item no longer available," "item no longer available," "item no longer available." Gets old, try buying things with Auctionator seems to work better.
@@Eyancraft Ya it does indeed. I can't seem to figure this crap out. I am not making money other than making back what I spend. I can't seem to pull ahead. Bots on AH = I think I'll just play another game perhaps. I love WoW but its out of hand anymore. I need a lot more knowledge points I'm sure.
Hey bit of a late reply but I promise consistency is the #1 Gold making strategy, theres many people with the mentality you just posted, you outlast them you keep gaining KP and profits will come I promise.
what is the name of your addon to tack winings?
Craftsim I have a guide on it here - ruclips.net/video/ru3pR7JW4l8/видео.html
Made about 200k just flipping with no points in Thaumaturgy so far. pretty easy to do, but takes time.
Good to hear, make sure you are using the potions and have the pact with the weaver for 15-30% craft speed increase.
Does the transmutation tree all the way to the right increase skill for thaumaturgy it is kind of unclear
No, if you have craft sim, go to the "specialization info" tab at the top, that will tell you.
@ cool so do that tree absolute last then Ty
@ so right now blessing blossom gives significantly less gold per hour per the sheet then the main moneymakers (chitin, leather, mycobloom) would you opt to just sell the blossoms rather than process them in this case
@@Cytoxd Depends if you want to make the most gold from your gold spent, or the most gold from your time spent.
If its the latter just sell, if its the former put through again.
Thx for the video. I've been looking for ages for something like that. I almost went the same way spec wise.
What would you suggest using the transmute charges on? There are so many 😅
First time crafts for KP, if you've gone through all of them, I haven't personally tested them all thoroughly enough but I did see a spreadsheet which indicated Volatile Stone was by far the best.
Does multicraft work on Thaumaturgy?
Nah, it's all resourcefulness.
Where can I get a stone that I need for this?? The tool??
Wowhead "Ni Gentlepaw" you can take the Jade Forest portal and basically be there. Just train MOP alchemy and you can make it. The stone you want is called "Zen Alchemist Stone" it requires I think 5 Golden Lotus to craft they're on the AH and super cheap. www.wowhead.com/npc=56777/ni-gentlepaw
tried new spreadsheet and entered the pricing info but nothing happened, so no idea if makes money or not, I did refresh it
Did you make a copy of the sheet? You can't edit the main one.
where do we find a philosopher stone tho ?
The quickest is Mists of Pandaria, think you only need like 5 Golden Lotus, the trainer is in Dread Wastes named "Poisoncrafter Kil'zit." Just Wowhead that name and you'll find him.
@@Eyancraft 3 Golden Lotus is required, not 5. I literally just did it 2 days ago.
Im doing something wrong or it does not work anymore on EU. I will be honest i dont have the skills fully added yet (not sure how to get points fast) so that may "eat" my profit. I have trauma on 14lvl and ominous od 25 so i go with the mycobloom combo. Atm prices are way a bit close i would say. Its 25, 40,40,50 You can try and "snipe" with the bots for 20-21 gold but well it will take a hour or more to "stock" something for 1 session. I have the items with +300 resource ( yes, You can almost double this with the pricy items + enchant) but im not sure if its still worth the invest. I know its a bit rng but i was hoping for a "stable" income, sadly my scale is well small cause its only 50k each hour or so.
Put them in the spreadsheet to see.
Do you need 100 skill in Alchemy to do this effectively?
If you're just doing R1 -> R1 no not at all, you want as much knowledge points as possible though.
How do you get philo stone?
The Mists of Pandaria one is easiest to get it's called Zen Alchemist Stone, takes 5minutes and like 150g
Hi this might be a stupid question. By the way amazing guide! How do I use the sheet? Haha. Copy it I assume so I can edit. And then I’m a bit lost at the instructions.
Where all the 1's are go to the AH get the price of the item, type it in next to their name.
Then at the top buy whatever one has the highest number in gold.
How do I get enough KPs like you?

WITH ressourcefullness etc im just equal
If you have all three of Volatile/Ominous/Mercurial filled, try the spreadsheet in the description and put price in manually. Not going to guarantee the accuracy of the sheet cos Thauma is math on math on math, but I think its close enough that its serviceable, hasn't gone wrong for me yet. I've also lowballed all the % in it so it's hopefully closer to the unlucky bad rng runs than the average or good, so if it says profit it should be the numbers are deflated intentionally. Put your own resourcefulness in it too, defaulted to mine currently I should probably remove that.
@@Eyancraft You are losing about 100g per transmute baseline in eu rn
@@Eyancraft The resourcefulness isn't working in the formula. I think it needs to be multiplied by 1100 as well.
I just used (Material Cost x Your Resource in decimal value.)
