What makes the Assassination Classroom openings unique is the director's choice of having the cast sing the songs. Better yet, sometimes, the whole cast sings, which gives the piece a wild, fun, and colorful feel. Listening to these openings, I fee so much nostalgia. And they all did a phenomenal job arranging these to make such memorable songs.

This anime is perfect. Not only the story is interesting, but EACH and EVERY charachter matters, everyone is important here. Not a single student is left to have a story, and I think that's absolutely difficult. I love assassination classroom, and I think that what it did is almost impossible
Amazing how with most anime the openings seem to get progressively worse (not necessarily bad, just not as good) while the Assassination Classroom openings get progressively better....
My favorite thing from this anime its how they show the development of the story trought the musics. In the first op, its just the beginning of the story, so the music is so happy. The second one they realize that they have to kill Koro-sensei, but they still happy to be in the class. In the third one, they start to wonder if that´s the right thing to do and why they have to do it. In the last, everything, not just the music, but the scenes looks so sad `cause the story is ending.
even when I watched it the second time around and knew what was coming, I STILL fing cried, that anime was such a masterpiece managing to make you care about pretty much all its characters (except Jerkface-akase) DESPITE its concept being basically a big parody of school action animes

I already had [SPOILER ALERT, CONTINUES BELOW] Koro Sensei’s death spoiled for me back before I watched the series, but I never knew *how* he died, and the scene was still incredibly powerful. One of the few moments an anime got me to cry and trust me, getting me to cry isn’t easy. Easily one of my favorite anime of all time.
Assassination Classroom in a Nutshell: Octopus Flash teaches a class of failing students while they are trying to kill him, and by the end they somehow make the anime one of the most heart wrenching stories you’ll ever see.
