I've been hearing they will swell up and catch fire
@@htownandre7385 if they are not charged and maintained properly then yes. If you do not know what you are doing with lithium batteries in these types of installs, I would recommend not using it.

I think those HD model taramps run hot and definitely alot hier temps than the smart 3k that i have i had a hd3k 1 ohm model version 2 and that thing got hot. And ive seen tons of pics on the internet of fried HD amps . So how does urs do? Aslo i kinda noticed those HD amps dont make ur subs play with authority like the smart 3k.
smart 3 ?? taramps amp 100% focuses for bass subwoofer is a "bass line" . bass 3k 5k 8k 15k - 30k, smart line for now only have 3k watts rms 2model smart 3 & smart 3 bass, no more choice for bigger watts rms
I have the same amp and run 1 fan . It never gets hot. Maybe warm. And it's hot as hell where I live
@@BassheadAudio its not the Amp itself the HD 3k has power inputs for only 4 Guage wire that Amp draws 300 amps I've seen on about 5 different hd3k amps where the negative terminal melts then burns up part of the circuit board.
