Postpartum hair loss is very much due to hormonal swings and less about vitamin supplements. Our hair follicles stay put much more during pregnancy, so when the follicles go back to "normal" between 3-6 months, a lot will fall out, but it all averages out. Some people experience it much more dramatically than others. It's just a part of this whole fun roller coaster of motherhood!
Your hair doesn't fall out from not taking prenatal vitamins... It's from hormones/lowered estrogen levels and most of my clients start experiencing hair loss after 3-4 months. (This only lasts a few months typically.) I do agree biotin helps with new growth after the hair loss, also a lot of my clients have had awesome luck with clinicure shampoo and conditioner from juice. Hope his helps!
Every time I'm done watching your videos I get the urge to go buy everything you talked about. I got the pixie corrector and love it! Love your videos.😃
So when I watched one of your previous videos I heard you mention bad to the bronze and loved the way it looked on you so I went to the store to pick it up an accidentally bought the creamy beige thinking it was similar and LOVED it. So now I have to go back for the bad to the bronze, best accidental purchase ever. I as well recommend it as well as bad to the bronze. They are both so beautiful! :) Thanks Tiffany!
Hi Tiffany!! LOVE the Maybelline colour tattoos... with a good eye primer they are so pigmented and last so long! Love your videos! and you look beautiful!!
Motherhood really suits you Tiffany 😊 Looking at the Instagram photos of Olivia she is literally your miniature 👶 like another commenter, I have been 'around' since the early days of your RUclips and now you're on the cusp of a MILLION! Crazy but so well deserved 👏 💜
I look forward to that setting spray video! I wanted to get one soon after running out of my tiny UD one I got forever ago. Could you include the L'oreal Infallible and ELF ones?
I have that Tarte brush, it's so smooth on the face. It isn't sold alone, it came from qvc today special for the maracuja foundcealer set. Works great on drier skin without making my face flaky.
As always, great video !! Ok, I went out & purchased the Color Tattoo's in both colors. I also picked up the Too Faced, Natural Matte Palette !! Such beautiful products. Now I'm just waiting on your tutorial. I too have been with you since the very beginning. I really know that the look you will do will be awesome. They ALWAYS ARE!! Best wishes to Brad & Olivia. Have a very Happy Easter. Diane X
Some of these are my favorites too! As a mom to a 16 month old, I must tell you, you are not to the hair horror postpartum period yet. My hair started falling out around the 5/6 month range, clumps. I could clog a shower every time. I also was VERY diligent at taking my prenatal vitamins. They won't help you, it is all hormones. Hopefully you'll be lucky and not get much fall out. After you lose your hair then the scary regrowth comes in. I am still struggling with my regrowth and it being shorter than the rest of my hair. (Tip: do not try any volumizing products when the growth is short...think fuzzy baby chick!)
Tiffany, make up, jewellery, clothes, hair you ALWAYS look sooo classy, pretty and together. If I had half of your 'togetherness' id be a happy woman :)
Great video as always! I think you would love color "passion" by OPI the gel version on your nails. I always get it and gets tons of compliments! Its neutral and beautiful!!! 😘👍💅
Would love more tutorials, esp the NYX contour palette! Would also love your take on a Kate Middleton "everyday" look - can't quite put my finer on it, but yall have similar coloring or face shape or something!
Tiffany, when you go to the nail salon next time, ask for an American manicure. It's less harsh and much more natural than a French manicure. I always get that two or three times after I get a new set of nails done. Great stuff:)
Can you please review the LOREAL INFALLIBLE PRO MATTE FOUNDATION AND THE SETTING SPRAY, that would be so awesome. I love your opinion on things!! Also, your baby girl with Waylon look so precious together, I'm so glad he's taken with her so well! 😊
I'm kind of the same with my nails too. I've never had fake ones, but I go through phases were I want them painted all the time but then let them go bare for a while. I've been tired of going to the salon though because I want just a regular manicure, but they relentlessly try to pressure me into getting gel nails, and I always have to tell them "no" more than once. So, I'm just saving money by doing them at home, even if they don't look as nice. lol
I agree. I can never go and get natural nails. They always do this nasty looking horse hoof like nail. I hate it. So I'm sticking to natural like all natural nails. Saves lots of money.
With both my kids, the hair loss started around 4 months postpartum. My daughter is 6 months now and it's still falling out. Not as bad as before though. Hope you don't experience too much of it!
I would love to see a tutorial on that one Nars peachy duo that you got a little while ago. I kinda want to buy it, but want to see what it looks like on the eyes. Love the videos! Thank you!
Another Tip: I recently started to cleanse my face w/ lemon & honey and it has made the biggest difference on my face!!!! Careful though cuz its not fun if the citrus gets in your eyes but so worth it. Apply the honey on the lemon, scrub your face and let it sit on your face for 5 mins. do it every other night and I PROMISE YOU, you will see a difference. I do this routine at night and I wake up looking fresh!
For some reason I scrolled allll the way down to your first videos and I really miss your super blond hair. I totally forgot about your closet filming days lol ❤❤❤💕
Love your tutorials. Please do a full face super glam bridal tutorial. I'm interested to see what products you would use for this and think it would be fun to see you with a high contured look
Tiffany would you ever consider doing some baby favorites? Like diapers/clothing/"toys" etc? I love your videos and would love to see more Mommy stuff as well. 💕
I hate requesting a video because it's her channel and she should do what she wants to do...but I feel like I've been holding my breath for a baby favorites video! :P I miss those pregnancy/baby updates.
Hi Tiffany, I remember that in one of your videos you mentioned your favorite eyeliner for the waterline that lasts all day. Which one is the best one, in your opinion?
Hi! I'm looking into Sigma make -up, do you still recommend them?what are your thoughts? It's has been a long time since you have talked/mentioned them. Thanks.
Thank you so much guys! I swear I was about to have a melt down (no pun intended). I'm writing all of these down and I'm going to try them one by one until I find one that works for me! Thank You, Thank You, Thank You!!!
A lot of high end brands tend to flake off- Best bet is to go with a WATER PROOF formula. My favorite flake resistant is Covergirl's waterproof Lashblast (the original orange tube)
***** I use the Too Faced Better Than Sex mascara and its amazing except it flakes, I use the Estee Lauder Little Black Primer and it seriously keeps it from flaking. It also hold a curl all day long and just helps make your lashes great. I really recommend it! Btw, the price for the Little Black Primer is $24 and for the Too Faced Better Than Sex mascara is $23.
Love your favorites videos. I really trust your opinion. You have great taste. I have been using the Simple eye makeup remover and I loooooove it. I should try the cleanser. I also want to get that Too Faced Natural Matte palette :)
I'm going to try those vitamins! I started postpartum hair loss around 4-5 months after and I still feel like I am losing so much. I'm still taking prenatals but I could use an extra boost!
didn't you just have your baby a few months ago? holy cow! you've slimmed down like crazy, can definitely tell in your face. hope mom and baby are doing well!
I hope you don't get that postpartum hair loss. I had it with both my kids and I took my prenatal vitamins after giving birth. I nursed both of them for over a year and continued the prenatals. With my second baby, the hair loss didn't come til 6 months after having him. Wish you all the best.
Tiffany I have super oily skin I recently tried the armani luminous silk foundation and primer and it came off after two hours what foundation would you recommend that's available in uk stores x
i think i love powder cleansers now! i tried the elf mineral face cleanser and I LOVE IT! its kinda weird to use but omg, its so great. and only $8 or $6 i think. id say give that one a try. who would have thought, and elf skin care product. oh, and it lasts forever
ps i would like to know what makeup you're wearing too... like the eyeshadow you have on today? i was thinking maybe its that color tattoo? i love it... its a nice muted yet smokey color
Yeah my hair started to fall out around 4 months. I thought it was because I had to reduce how often I breast feed because I went back to work. Interesting that it was hormonal and would have happened anyway. Just be prepared, when it falls out you will be shocked that you have any hair left lol. And, it takes a few months to lose it all. My second son is 7 months and my hair just finally stopped coming out like crazy, it started when he was 4 months. Fair warning!
I have the Pixi brightening peach corrector but haven't really used it yet. Do you put it under your concealer? If so which concealer do you like to pair with it? My mom just ordered me that Too Faced Matte palette because she lives in California for the winter and I'm in Canada and it's hard to get here. So I can't wait to get my paws on it in a month!!! I know Toofaced.com offers Canadian shipping now but just for that palette with taxes, duties and shipping it came out to $76!! No thanks! I'll wait for my mommy to come home with my makeup goodies lol! Cuz you know there's a long list ;)
Since it's a corrector, if you plan to use a separate concealer to brighten the entire under eye area, then I would apply the Pixi Concentrate first. (I use it instead of concealer under my eyes. I'm so fair, no concealer is light enough on me!) I press my ring finger into the pot, then very gently tap it under my eye wherever I see blue / purple, which is mostly toward the inner corner. Then I press it into my skin using my pinky. I find this helps it melt into my skin, and not look like it's sitting on top. If I'm using a liquid or cream foundation, I will put the corrector on after I apply my foundation. If I'm using a power mineral foundation, I'll put the corrector on first. Experiment with it. You'll figure out what works best for you. But keep in mind, you need only a tiny bit! 😊
@KatSm-Wo This eyeshadow palette is exclusive to Ulta so they don't have it at Sephora unfortunately. Maybe they will in the future though! I contacted Sephora and so far they have no plans to receive it sadly. You may be confusing it with the Natural Eyes palette whereas I was referring to the Natural Matte one. Quite easy to mix up :)
Love your favorites and all the goodies that you got..but not as much as I love seeing all your babies pics on Instagram..she is amazing....I love the one of her big brother watching her on the love seat...lol If you tell them you want the American manicure it's the one there is not a line ;))) Trish xoxoxoxo
I find that pixi corrector to be so thick its hard to blend out, tugs quite a bit at the under eye area. Any help on how to fall in love with it like Tiffany?
I'm trying my way through the micellar water offerings at the moment. I'm not super impressed in terms of make up removal power, but it seems one of those things that doesn't aggravate my very sensitive skin too much, and I'm usually just wearing a tinted moisturiser (bb/cc cream if you want to be hip) I'm just wondering about the simple product. I've stayed way clear of simple because most of their products contain the formaldehyde releasing preservative bronopol (often given in its chemical name on the list of incis). Formaldehyde isn't great for any skin, let alone super sensitive one (rosacea anyone?). I noticed that recently, not all of their new products do. Does the micellar water?
I think most people experience the hair loss starting about 3-4 months post partum. I have always been strict about keeping up with my prenatals while breast feeding and have experienced hair loss each time. Maybe you'll be lucky and not have it. Is it okay to take biotin while breast feeding?

You'll be hitting 1 million subscribers soon!!! So amazing I've been with you since the old days! Short dark hair, in your closet. :))
Me too! I got into YT because of Tiffany because I googled how to style a bob and Tiffany's video came up!!
I also watch videos since closet time :)
Eunice Machado me too!! I miss that closet with the shoes in the back ground haha
Me too! Love how she has not changed at all since the beginning. I love Tiffany!!
It is just a joy to see how excited you are about the make up and how much you enjoy it!!!!
Those too faced palettes look SOOOOO pretty! Can't wait for the tutorials on them :D
Love that you're keeping true to your channel and not becoming too baby related. Thank you. Great upload as always. x
Tiffany, you are wonderful! I have been watching you for so long and still think you are one of the best! You recommendations are always awesome!
I'd love to see a get ready with me/review of the Too Faced Natural Matte palette! Your eye shadow looks are always so pretty and classy :)

From joico**
But Progesterone goes down significantly after birth and prolactin level goes up because of breast feeding. That is why hair start to fall.
Plus the analgesic you got from having a csection increases hair loss
You look so great, motherhood has you GLOWING!
Every time I'm done watching your videos I get the urge to go buy everything you talked about. I got the pixie corrector and love it! Love your videos.😃
your instagram pictures of olivia are my favorites this month!
The buxom glosses are perfect layer product for fresh tinted balm. The combination can last all day without touchup when I only snack but no meals.
loved this video !! I really like the way you film and set up your videos Tiffany !! 😍😘
I am SO ready for makeup tutorials from you!! :)
i also love the color tattoo in creamy beige!! it's such a great color!
Can't wait for the nyx contour tutorial. Also, I would love to see a video on all of your facial sprays! That would be very helpful :)
Hi Tiffany!! LOVE the Maybelline colour tattoos... with a good eye primer they are so pigmented and last so long! Love your videos! and you look beautiful!!
I love your videos so much!!! My mom was watching you for like 5 years!
are the nails acrylics or just gel over your natural ones??
Motherhood really suits you Tiffany 😊 Looking at the Instagram photos of Olivia she is literally your miniature 👶 like another commenter, I have been 'around' since the early days of your RUclips and now you're on the cusp of a MILLION! Crazy but so well deserved 👏 💜
I've been watching your videos for the last 7 years, I love all your videos!
I look forward to that setting spray video! I wanted to get one soon after running out of my tiny UD one I got forever ago. Could you include the L'oreal Infallible and ELF ones?
YOUR NECKLACE! It's so pretty! Love your videos!

Another great video! Ordered the eyeko brow liner, it looked like something I would love. Always a pleasure!
Tiffany, make up, jewellery, clothes, hair you ALWAYS look sooo classy, pretty and together. If I had half of your 'togetherness' id be a happy woman :)
The Too Faced Matte Palette is gorgeous!

"an even chunky sparkle" haha I love you, Tiffany :D
With the pallet with macaroons on it, you should do an easter and spring look.

Love the urban decay makeup setting spray!
Girl yes with the vitamins. I stopped taking mine and jumped back on when I noticed my hair falling out! And it fixed the prob instantly.
With both my kids, the hair loss started around 4 months postpartum. My daughter is 6 months now and it's still falling out. Not as bad as before though. Hope you don't experience too much of it!
Love you! What are your thoughts on the loreal infallible foundation

Can't wait for your Tips & Tricks video! Great video! I'm off to get Valhalla!
You should try out the new Target Up&Up complexion brush! So good! I think it absorbs less product than the RT buffing brush.
That Nyx palette looks amazing! :)
Great favorites! Your eyebrows are on point!
Hi Tiffany, I remember that in one of your videos you mentioned your favorite eyeliner for the waterline that lasts all day. Which one is the best one, in your opinion?
Obsessed with your Baublebar earrings! I totally want to get them but they don't make them in silver and I like to wear silver more than gold.
I love your descriptions....old, damp, crawlspace. :) What brush do you use to apply the Maybelline color tattoos?
Ah amazing! You are so great and love your recommendations I really trust them, and you are so gorgeous :) xx
P.S would mean the world if you could check out my March Favs video too :)
Hi! I'm looking into Sigma make -up, do you still recommend them?what are your thoughts? It's has been a long time since you have talked/mentioned them. Thanks.
I love your channel Tiffany! Just want to put in a little request :) More tutorials and more reviews please!!
This question is really for anyone... What is the best mascara that won't flake off. I don't care how much it costs, what's your favorite?
I've really been loving Tarte's Gifted mascara. Gives a lot of length and a natural volume without being dry or gloopy.
Thank you so much guys! I swear I was about to have a melt down (no pun intended). I'm writing all of these down and I'm going to try them one by one until I find one that works for me! Thank You, Thank You, Thank You!!!
I keep going back to COVERGIRL professional super thick lash in the red/pink tube. It has a regular bristle brush, not plastic. (drug store)
A lot of high end brands tend to flake off- Best bet is to go with a WATER PROOF formula. My favorite flake resistant is Covergirl's waterproof Lashblast (the original orange tube)

I was hoping to hear your opinion on the Maybelline Fit me Poreless & matte foundation... Maybe in a later video? Good Favorites video! :)
Dying to try that Pixi concealer! :)
I love Panteen too, my hair looks silkier and feels softer when I use it :) it has never damaged my hair either
You can take vitamins as much as you want - it has nothing to do with post baby hairloss!
I would love to see an updated foundation routine!
You should try the new Anastasia lip glosses. They're so pretty!
Great favorites! Love your vids 😍
you need to try the Amore Pacific enzyme powder! Its amazing!!
You used to do a lot more tutorials earlier. Please bring back more tutorials. You're really good at them.
ive been trying to snag that nyx contour palette for forever!!!!!! xo from my beauty channel to your's
Thanks for all the great products!
Hey Tiffany! What did you think of that chanel gloss you bought a million years ago? The one in the new packaging (similar to the lipsticks)??
Yes to the face sprays video!
I'm going to try those vitamins! I started postpartum hair loss around 4-5 months after and I still feel like I am losing so much. I'm still taking prenatals but I could use an extra boost!
Love ur look today as always!! Love u❤️
have u tried this brush also for the Dior star foundation? I'm still looking for a good brush for that foundation
didn't you just have your baby a few months ago? holy cow! you've slimmed down like crazy, can definitely tell in your face. hope mom and baby are doing well!
I hope you don't get that postpartum hair loss. I had it with both my kids and I took my prenatal vitamins after giving birth. I nursed both of them for over a year and continued the prenatals. With my second baby, the hair loss didn't come til 6 months after having him. Wish you all the best.
Tiffany I have super oily skin I recently tried the armani luminous silk foundation and primer and it came off after two hours what foundation would you recommend that's available in uk stores x

ps i would like to know what makeup you're wearing too... like the eyeshadow you have on today? i was thinking maybe its that color tattoo? i love it... its a nice muted yet smokey color
@MakeupByTiffanyD where do you get your nails done?
Do you have a video about how to put concealer on? I don't understand if I need to use a brush or a sponge
i was wondering if you can do updated skin routine for acne? or your progress with acne? products to combat it and such?
If you do straight gel no acrylic tip they look much more natural ! They build the tip with the gel
Great stuff, it seems like you had a good month!
You look fabulous ..thanks so much for sharing!
Tiffany, would you do a foundation routine? You look so beatiful!!
Could you try out the Kat Von D contour kit? I found that people who had that one to compare it to didn't like the NYX.
I ordered from Canada from Sephora as two faced is ridiculous shipping costs.
Since it's a corrector, if you plan to use a separate concealer to brighten the entire under eye area, then I would apply the Pixi Concentrate first. (I use it instead of concealer under my eyes. Quite easy to mix up :)
very interested in seeing the sweet tea mask reviewed
Love your favorites and all the goodies that you got..but not as much as I love seeing all your babies pics on Instagram..she is amazing....I love the one of her big brother watching her on the love seat...lol If you tell them you want the American manicure it's the one there is not a line ;))) Trish xoxoxoxo
Love all your vids Tiffany! :)
I find that pixi corrector to be so thick its hard to blend out, tugs quite a bit at the under eye area. Any help on how to fall in love with it like Tiffany?
Yes!! Do a baby favorites! I'm due in September and I want more baby videos!!! :)
Which prenatal vitamins did you use?
what about the nars st paul de vence shadow? tutorial?
I think most people experience the hair loss starting about 3-4 months post partum. I have always been strict about keeping up with my prenatals while breast feeding and have experienced hair loss each time. Maybe you'll be lucky and not have it. Is it okay to take biotin while breast feeding?
I love your background!
