I'm so glad you liked it, thank you Bob! It was certainly a wonderful sight, especially the locations where the engine was on Pennsylvania Railroad rails. Thank you for watching!
I certainly hope so, too! It was so great to see this engine again after so many years. Thank you so much for watching, I really appreciate it immensely!
I could not agree more with you! This was such a great surprise and I definitely hope that it's a sign of things to come. But even if not, I'm grateful that it happened. Thank you for watching and for the kind words, David!
Thank you so much for the kind words! I really appreciate you checking it out! And I know right!? That horn was music to my years. Thank you for watching! 😁
Yo thank you so much, G-Snapsz! I appreciate you checking it out, and I'm so glad we were able to make that whole day happen. Couldn't have gone any better or been any more perfect. Especially with Casanovas to top it off! One of my all-time favorite Angry Irishmen days to date. Thank you again brother!
Are you in the Railroads of Southern NJ group on Facebook? A heads up was posted in that group as soon as the train had come across the Delair Bridge into Camden. It's a great group for information on all of the moves across south Jersey.
@@trainsdestinations3960 Ah, I hear ya. I'm sorry that you weren't able to catch this, I wish Yahoo Groups were still active as an alternate means to receive heads ups
They used to take veterans to the Army-Navy games across the NEC, thats where I last photographed them. Got to run them from Rockwood, Pa to Brunswick, Md in Oct 2002. I take it they're still not PTC equipped?? Good video.
I don’t think so. From what I understand, Bennett Levin could spend the money to put PTC in them but his priorities right now are steam projects like EBT and PRR 1361.
Very neat lashup there! Its good to see at least one of the ole PRR E Units back out since last I heard they would never run again due to then new PTC requirements placed into effect by the FRA/NTSB.
Thank you so much for the kind words! That was the last I had heard, too, so I was pleasantly shocked when I heard that this was going to be running. Truly didn't expect to see it again! Thanks so much for watching!
Very glad to have one of two keystone classics back in service especially number 5711 because she has an awesome K3 horn I am a PRR fan as I had a great great grandfather was an engineer for the Pennsylvania railroad and believe it or not he got to drive a very famous locomotive in his time which is undergoing restoration in Altoona my great great grandfather got to drive K4s Pacific number 1361 that engine is an old family friend to me I look forward to the completion of her restoration
That's incredible, wow! What a cool piece of history to have directly related to you and your family. Thank you for sharing that, and for watching the video! I appreciate it greatly!
@@TrainiacProductions you’re very welcome I have my great great grandfather’s rulebooks and his original railroaders pocket watch which as of this year is now 100 years old as of of March 14, 2023 and I did a video that day going over the watch and all my collection of my great great grandfather ruclips.net/video/MiDhhBZQdtc/видео.htmlsi=ZZBXG-eTPZT9QmjS
Thank you for watching! The engine was under its own power; the clips at Chelton Avenue in Camden and Delair Bridge at Philadelphia show decent exhaust clouds from the E8
Great footage Kyle! I'm good friends with two of the people you met up with in Haddon Heights. (Standard Gauge Railroader), and (Delaware Valley Railfanning Productions). Wish I could've been there myself but I had work on that day. Hopefully one day I'll get to meet you in person Merry Christmas!

To be entirely honest, I only found out about this the night prior! But hopefully there will be easily accessible information far in advance in the future! Thank you for watching!
Hey thank you so much for watching my video! The 5711 shown in this video is an EMD E8, not an E9, please feel free to look it up online for further detailed information! Thanks again for watching!
Awesome to see an E unit riding the rails again especially in south Jersey! Very cool!

Aw damn. That's awesome. Glad the Former PRR E8 is running again despite PTC.
Thank you so much, John, I really appreciate it! This was an awesome surprise, I was definitely happy to see this again after several years!
So happy that it’s out again, even if it’s just for this event. Well, in addition to being displayed at Hoboken. Good footage!

Great to see the E unit back in action! Was it movimg under its own power or was it pushed by the switcher?
