They do a wonderful job looking after her! They've just finished replacing her teak decks and the photos are mesmerizing. Thank you so much for watching and for the comment!

The New Jersey cuts such a beautiful sight coming into view, goosebumps moment, and you captured it nicely.
Hopefully the SS United States can find a new home, and has a curator as passionate about her as the New Jersey does with Ryan.
The SS United States was mentioned on the What's Going On With Shipping channel, and Sal was mentioning the historic significance of her to the Merchant shipping industry...would be nice to see her brought back to life.
Thank you for your footage, and cheers from Sydney Aus 🍻🍻🍻🍻

Thank you so much for your kind words! I'm deeply grateful to hear that you enjoyed the video! And I share your hope for the SS UNITED STATES! My fingers are firmly crossed. By the way, I love What's Going On With Shipping! Sal is one of my favorite RUclipsrs. If you're interested in ships, I'll be uploading lots of ship videos from here on out! Thank you again for checking out my video, and for the wonderful comment! Take care, my friend!

¡Gracias por ver! Los motores no funcionan, lo están moviendo los remolcadores. ¡Sin embargo, no estoy seguro de si podrían funcionar si lo intentaran! ¡Gracias de nuevo por mirar!

Even though her mooring is permanent, does this return mean she is technically ready for sea?

For the best information, I recommend checking out the official Battleship New Jersey RUclips channel! They answer many different questions related to what it would take for her to be reactivated for sailing and wartime use: www.youtube.com/@BattleshipNewJersey
Thank you so much for watching! I really appreciate it!

Ready for the sea? Nope. Ryan estimates that it would cost the Navy around 2 billion $ and a year of time in drydock to get her reactivated. It is not so that you utter the words "i need to borrow your boat" and off she goes fighting aliens😂 this only happens in movies. 🎉
