    Contempt of Court is a serious offence. Recently we have seen many contempt proceedings against many IAS officers, e.g. Ritu Maheshwari etc.

      I guess its only 2000 fine or 6 month jail or both...

      @@shivambhatia4079 exactly and that’s why these warnings remain just warnings. Unless and until officials are sent to jail no substantial change is going to be seen.

    अदालतों के आदेशों का उल्लंघन करना देश के प्रशासनिक अधिकारी अपना अधिकार समझते हैं, अपने आदेशों का पालन करवाने और न्यायालय की प्रतिष्ठा की रक्षा करना न्यायाधीश का दायित्व है।

    Most importantly court should bring ministers and legislators who are holding overall charge of the departments under official liability and contempt of court....only then , courts' contempt provision can stand its testimony......otherwise, this eternal caricature will keep continuing ...

    excellent judgeship ...very perspicacious observations ....judge reflected what a common man thought.... contempt of court is now becoming order of the day ...every day every order every officer defying the court and this contumacious behaviour is rampant in govt towards even constitutional courts leave alone magistrate courts ... even after complaiance contempt proceedings should be instituted ...this case should become precedent for entire india in the matters of contempts....

    Marvellous answer , courts are not useless , plz interfere in the matters of bpsc leak issue , we are an aspirant while the lagislature and executive involved in the bulshit leak case is trying to hide the real culprit behind the scene so as hope we are eagerly waiting for the third pillar of govt to give justice to us # patna high court . Plz punish them who burnt out dreams and laborious effort .

    Moral- dont take court order litely. Simpl atleast revert the court with fresh application mentioning a true reason so that honble judge can take under consideration.

    actually officers need to be honest like tukaram munde sir even politician talks with him with respect when he got transferred people came at dharna that's the real power of honest ias he could have become politician easily but still chose to become ias

      @@LawChakra judiciary is the most stagnant system in the contmprry time. Nepotism is the biggest challenge in judiciary. And somehow they invented collegium system to satisfy their evil incompetence. 192 out of 365 days. Pathetic when the burden is so high. Need revival of judiciary else people will take the law in their hands. To everyone out here, my grandfather was a retired high court judge. He himself stated the hypocrisy of judges.

    I know a Govt. officer who had given Unconditional apology under Civil contempt case, which was accepted by the High Court. Now that Govt. Officer has again willfully breached the Unconditional apology already given under Civil contempt court case. Now what probable punishment will he get? Will he has to pay only 2000Rs fine?

    In1 case plaintiff put 90% lies & all fake statements so defendant filed perjury & contempt application. Still court did NOTHING. So in court its v.easy to LIE becoz judge only threats but do nothing to punish

      It was not fault of IAS but his depart meant. Officials in his dipartament were punished by court

    अच्छा लगा न्याय देख के लेकिन कुछ खेद है जैसे सबसे पहले mylord शब्द को हटाया जाना चाहिये इसमें विदेशी होने कि बू आती है दूसरा जबरदस्ती english मे बात ना किया जाए अगर जज और वकील दोनों हिंदी जानते हो तो। Simply call judge "sir"..Mylord हुजूर क्या होता है, दासता कि बू आती है।
