This is absolutely amazing to see. The only thing I really don't like is how tight that snare is. It's sounds like a marching drum snare and that doesn't exactly match the overall feel of this song, needs to be a little warmer and loose. Other than that... this is impeccable.
@@Canu16 he needs that Tom sound so he can emulate double bass, better do it this way than use triggers.
I just burned my set. I give up. This guy is incredible
You're sick, man! Tearing apart such complicated song just like a piece of cake!
not piece of cake, but piecenof jelly
There are no words to describe this guy’s talent. Off the charts. Wondering what could have happened 10 years ago if this guy had been on the scene when DT was auditioning new drummers. No offense to Mike Mangini, who is also amazing, but El Step just has a different level of soul. Just like Mike Portnoy did.
Want to see this guy playing Tool Rosetta Stoned
YES
Or ticks and leeches
@@nbohmwald Ticks and Leeches is actually easy. Compared to other TOOL stuff. The Tom groove is impressive, but its basically just a repeating 16th note pattern with weird accents.
While Rosetta is some crazy shit, with lots of meter changes, kinda lika Dream theatre
RUclips recommended me your channel and I'm so glad it did. You're amazing.
Impresionante! Y no pidas disculpas… interpretación impecable! Tienes un nuevo suscriptor aquí. Adelante, Estepario 💪🏻 Saludos desde Guayaquil, Ecuador 🇪🇨
This is absolutely amazing to see. The only thing I really don't like is how tight that snare is. It's sounds like a marching drum snare and that doesn't exactly match the overall feel of this song, needs to be a little warmer and loose. Other than that... this is impeccable.
Andrew Perea Floor tom also sounds like crap 😁... incredible technique is useless if you don’t care about sound 🤷🏿♂️.
Also, if you suck at drums, it doesn't matter how expensive or well-tuned your kit is.
@@tlkshowhst I agree with your comment, but, this guy is a phenomenal drummer and should be able to have a good sounding drum kit.
His Tom is basically and other bass drum. His kit doesn’t sound horrible though.
@@Canu16 he needs that Tom sound so he can emulate double bass, better do it this way than use triggers. Also I think he cares a lot about the sound and he has a good reason for having that snare tone. I think everyone who watched this cover have enjoyed it a lot (including myself, who have been a drummer for more than 10 years) so your statement is a bit radical.
O melhor cover que já vi haha parabéns mano!!!
Suena increíble!! Jamás extrañé la batería del disco.
Dude' you're killing it...one WORD: AWESOME!!!!!!!!
Brutal, con esta te volaste la barda viejo! 🔥
O que esse cara faz é praticamente impossível, um absurdo!! hehehe
I like the way he screams it’s like he is drunk😂
the best
He probably is tbh.
On Red Bull at least
The best parts, the screaming, bashing the cymbals, and that great ending throwing the sticks. Everything in between just a bunch of noise, but entertaining!! Thanks for the chuckles.
