3-Ingredients Buttery Shortbread Cookies.
*This recipe only needs 3 Ingredients
*This recipe makes about 50 cookies (1/2 tbsp dough for each cookie)
*Powdered sugar is the same as icing sugar

Ingredients:
227g (1 cup) salted butter (room temperature)
64g (1/2cup) powdered sugar
256g (2 cups) all purpose flour
Methods:
1. Cream butter and sugar till pale and soft.
2. Add the flour and mix well.
3.Shape the dough into balls and use a fork to flatten the dough.
4. Bake at 130°C for 15-20 minutes till golden brown.
5.Done.

You don't usually put baking powder or soda in shortbreads. You want them crumbly and not to rise :) theyre a simple cookie who goes well with tea.

I'm guessing you are from USA, the temperature in F would be 266 degrees.
If a temperature is followed by the C, it means is using Celsius as the measurement unit

Could try 200C for 8-10mins instead. That's usually the standard I see for shortbreads. Not sure why this one cooks lower, but its likely to achieve a texture they like. Make sure you preheated the oven for a good 15-20mins. If its an oven who tells you when it hit the right temp, then let it continue to preheat 5mins after it hits temp. Your oven coulda possibly not hit the right temp and you put them in too quick.
