Shock Retainer C-Rings a bit of a pain. Use the ProTek PTK-H-2104 2.5 X 12mm Hex head screws for the diffs (slightly smaller 2.5 vs 2.6 would fit better in new plastic hole). Add Kyosho VZ012B and 97001B if you want to remove the front spool, and make front diff work. You could also add extra spider gears to rear diff.
Great video, awesome build!!! Definitely some good tips to help out. I did have a question for you, any good recommendations for servos to use with this kit? Thanks!
When I turn the front wheels all the way left or all the way right, the dog bone axles jam up on either side. I have to seriously limit the endpoint adjustment on my steering servo, in order to prevent the axles from jamming. Is that something you experienced?
I came across a never used fw06 alpine a110 gt4. Was gonna buy a kyosho fz02-r, but really wanted a nitro. Can't wait till it arrives! How are you liking your fw06? I would have been fine buying the kit. But, no one has had it in stock in forever.
Building the fw06 two speed transmission. When I hold the transmission shaft and spin the second gear the two speed clutch is binding in the gear. I ran the screws down and backed it off three turns. Any suggestions please.
When I put the two speed shift mechanism into the gear in which it's supposed to go, it was a really tight fit. Is that normal? I'm building the car now.
@@OrcaBoat3 I believe this may be because of the same problem I ran into. I did not key the two speed clutch shoes correctly on the two speed hub. It is mentioned in my video in the first part. I don’t know if this is the problem, but you should check it out. You need to make sure those shoes are lined up with the flat spots.
I'm thinking of doing a build with this using a bitty design p-gt3r body. I know the chassis says 200mm and the body says 190mm... Will that cause any issues do you think? I'm trying to plan out a custom build for my boss and unable to find a better 911 gt3rs body than bitty designs bodies but that are 10mm thinner than what the chassis is and it has me worried
I got the car built, but am having one problem. When I roll the car forward by hand, the transmission moves perfectly smoothly. But, if I roll the car backward, it jams up. I have not started the engine yet. Something is jamming up. What do you think?
I have on question. Number 5 at the manual (gearbox) u used all the parts? like the two little pins? 2x11mm? because i think they wont fit exactly there. Also the screws you mention at the beggining are like shit :). Thanks!
Someone told me that this car has a locked front differential. I find that hard to believe and i most definitely prefer an open differential, front and rear. Can you clarify?
Appreciate the heads up. I’ll pass on this budget kit with quality issues better off spending more money for better bits. There’s a reason it’s under $300..including motor🙄
Video was cool but here is some feedback. Be mindful of your audio volume changes. They were too drastic. For a person like me I found it annoying as it was not necessary and painful but some people just don't know. Other than that keep up the good work!
NITRO GANG BABY!! Nitro will never die!

My favorite grease is silicone based grease for fotocopy machine plastic gears... Very cheap and makes the plastic very smooth to tap..
Tq sir for the build video, appreciate it on the build tips and recommended info. 👌🏻👍🏻👍🏻😊, yup kyosho should change to hex screws in this kit
I’m thinking about getting one soon I just got into nitros and been buying fixing some but I think it’s time to learn to build one. Sick video!!
Great Build, I'm about to build one just waiting on servos
Great video bud, waiting on my kit to come in and thanks for the diff screw tip.
I love to build from kits, kyosho is good brand, I like USA nitro, do they have kits instead of RTR?
Kyosho#1 awesome video 👊
The Japan model doesn’t have any adjustments for the motor in any way it’s just holes to bolt in no slots.
please share links to the sway bars dont know what to get

Nice build video I wish all company's would use hex screws

It’s a lot of fun I just use it as a parking lot runner and it’s engine I reliable sofar .

I don’t know how to diagnose what maybe going on ! I hope you got it figured out
Any hex screw kits avail?
I bought the front and rear stabilizer optional parts, but I don't know how to install them. Do you have any experience with those?
do you have part numbers?

@@zellegoodwin9046 you need a 200 mm body or there will clearance issues especially around the wheel wells !

More than likely it’s the 2 speed one way bearing not seated correctly in the 2 speed clutch!! At least check that !
It turned out it was a gear mesh problem and I just readjusted the engine and now it's perfect. @metalrc
Is this a good starter nitro?
Hello .Having had the kit for three months do you think its worth the money?
It’s definitely worth the money

Any answer??
japanese industrial standard or "jis" are different to philips head, hope this is relevant.
Very few know this! I'm a Toyota guy and have an entire set of high quality JIS drivers. Great tip.

Nitro Touring comes with locked front i believe
must grease every screw
