I, for one, love this song, and don't believe Metallica to be washed up, they are still an awesome sight to behold live, and much much better than most 'modern' bands I could mention that I've had the misfortune to sit through.
It's because when he moves his hand this fast and crazy it's not unlikey that his skins rips open at this places and gets sore. Many drummers do it as well.
actualy hammett knows exactly how to use the wah-wah pedal.but its abit overused i think...but the solos still fit into the riffs perfectly...kirk is a classic player and he has a very cool style.one of my favorite players...
Great song. It was awesome how James started playing And Justice For All for a few seconds. oh and Kirk's a very solid player. He gets a bit sloppy sometimes but his wah pedal usually hides that. He's definitely not the best though.
