I had a plumbing company I used for years. Owner is transitioning out and his son is taking over. About 12 employee business and 6 trucks. The kid made a lot during the pandemic. Bought himself a $175,000.00 sports car. The day I saw that car was the day I put them on the do not use list.

that is crazy Amos. what that 175k could have done reinvesting into the business or held in reserves in a bank account for later problems and issues. thanks

That $ 60,000 truck can be detrimental to your business because your customers will think your making too much money off them. Then they start talking crap about how much money you make if you can buy a truck like that.

Yet I have seen this take place over and over. The new company that bought out our local dealership ordered all brand new trucks right up to a tractor trailer with a lowbow and had all of them wrapped with their logos. Makes me scratch my head. thanks
